..... so much headcannon just popped in, bear with me Lyra is a unicorn, or more precisely was. Several years ago she was in a rather severe accident, which left her with a severe head wound. In order to save her life, the doctors had to remove a good portion of the front half of her skull and replace it with steel, this included her horn. Due to the accident, recovery, ect... that is why she sits that way, it's more comfortable for her. and now how it ties into this image. Now that she doesn't have a natural horn it has to be recharged often, which is why it's not attached in this image. TL:DR Lyra was in an accident and that's a fake horn she can attach/remove at a whim |
