The average 3-8 year old girl watching the show won't care. That's the largest market, or at least the target one that got Bronies interested in the first place. No need to change the model unless you're not making money.

No, the reason they're different is because the toys and FiM are different continuities. The Big Macintosh toy is a parallel-universe version of the Big McIntosh we're familiar with. |
