I've tried Angry Birds. It isn't anywhere near good enough to place the iPhone above Steam or any of those consoles. Even the Wii.

Tim Berners-Lee invented internet, so I guess we can thank him for multiplayer as we know it, even if we have examples of LAN multiplayer games, heck we even had games that allowed you to play multiplayer over the midi port...

The key to games is fun. Not flashiness, not blood, not hours of play, but fun. A game can be short, bloodless, and quick, but still much more fun than a game that lasts hours, immersive, and lets you shoot the bloody fuck out of millions of enemies. If you're not having fun playing a game, you're wasting your time.
Too many "game" companies nowadays don't seem to understand that. |
