If it's any consolation, 95% of fan works are going to ignore them anyways; and Berryshine is so far removed from Berry Punch in design that I still don't understand why anyone gives a shit what Hasbro calls a unicorn who happens to have the same cutie mark and practically nothing else. |

Really. Also, Derpy never was Ditzy. Ditzy Doo exist separately ands he was shown in the WWU and Lauren mentioned it as well. Derpy is a totally different BG pony, it just some tards who again screwed up Lauren's words decided to name her Ditzy even before WWU aired. Jaysson and some other animators mentioned few times they called her Derpy, not Ditzy. |

I've got nothing against fanon names, but it doesn't surprise me that Hasbro would use different ones. There's no point in fighting over Grab Bag Twilight Sparkle Palette Swap Lyra being called Heartstrings.
Actually, you could probably pull a Torneko Taloon and combine the two names together. Lyra Heartstrings doesn't sound too shabby. |

They haven't been changed because they never had official names to begin with. Only once they have OFFICIAL names can they be changed - and only the owners of My Little Pony can do that. We can only influence it. |

We were able to have fanon Luna work with Canon Luna (able the two have simplar traits) we can make the cannon names work
I will say Lyra Heartstrings has a nice ring to it |

Since when will any toy company actually listen to fans? Seriously, there was a better chance of canon Celestia then there was of any fanon names being used. Mainly to avoid legal issues as some brony screams about their name choice being used and therefore is owed money. Really need to move past this nonsense. Just call them what you wish. |

I think we'd love to, but the MLP wiki has already tried to force the issue. There is no "Lyra" there any more. No proof the name ever existed. Not even as trivia. They're even already demanding people accept it. |
