Weirdly, the plot of NiGHTS into dreams is almost a perfect mirror opposite of Luna's life.
NiGHTS was the elder, and favorite, prince(ss?) of the Nightmare kingdom... till he decided he didn't want to be a nightmaren anymore, rebelled against his kingdom, and was imprisoned theoretically forever... until a couple of kids free him and help him overthrow his tyrant brother, by collecting a bunch of magical orbs that represent personal virtues. ...damn. maybe this whole game was what Luna dreamt about when she was stuck in the moon. |

That would make a lot of sense considering the entire game is one long dream sequence full of bizarre Jungian symbolism. |
