"Fabulous as she is generous, Rarity is the quintessential noble artist at heart, tirelessly seeking to find beauty in all things in life, be it in the ground, in her dresses, or in her friends. She may not be as magically inclined for a unicorn, but for what she has she uses it to the finest precision of her ability." On a clear day, if her schedule permits it, she'll venture out at dawn beyond the plains of Ponyville to a little valley nestled in between the mountains and White Tail Woods to practice one of her favorite stress relief hobbies. Archery is a guilty pleasure for Rarity: thrilling and visceral, but sophisticated in style, a crucial element missing from the sports Rainbow or Applejack partake in. In a way she considers it fairly akin to sewing, replacing the needle for a much larger point and aiming at a small round target several hundred feet away rather than stitches, but most importantly both require a keen eye. Over the years she's developed a remarkable skill for the craft, at times even amazing herself by how simply she can "thread" arrows through one another, from great distances no less. Of course, not being one to ignore artistic license, she's worked in some her own "touch ups" to this fine game as well. It's certainly been updated.
"Breathe" was misspelled on the first upload. It didn't ruin the comic (very little could,) but it's certainly bothered me before. |
