... Am I the only one that think the Red and Black "X"s clash with the rest of the drawing?
... and give one weird thoughts, to boot. |

What you're saying, AnuAikan, is that you think her "X" emblems should be moved to the belt area instead? |

Yeah, Anu, we could have done without that part of Storm's costume here... |

@DeeperMadness
I'm just saying... =P; They seem to be put on there as an afterthought. They don't match the rest of the drawing's lineart, and seem a lot to me like the artist just typed "O, X", overlapped them, then pasted to the drawing... Which is a Shame, since I pretty much like it otherwise. I love Zecora's new look. |

@AnuAikan:
Heh, that's okay, dude, I know what you meant. :D I thought the way Zecors wore her mane in the episode was pretty cool, too. |

The Xs were either an afterthought or unintentionally attention-grabbing. It has that effect because the red is extremely vivid (which is somewhat appropriate for the amount of white on the image,) but the black is the most solid shade of grey used on the image (not to mention being placed on top of white, meaning that the contrast is maximized far beyond any other color combination of the image.) The red could be fine, but I'd at least drop the black Xs to be around the same or slightly darker than Zecora's coat color. |
