I read a pretty excellent fanfic a long while ago... Snails, frustrated at being thought of as "slow" and convinced he was a burden on his widowed mother, ran away from home-- and fell in with the Great and Powerful Trixie... who was on the skids, and got connived into taking Snails as an "apprentice" for her road show. She expects the worst, but it turned out that Snails, however, had a pretty unique talent-- he could magically <I>slow things down....</i>
the author quit writing after about 5 or 6 chapters; I've been disappointed that he hasn't updated. It was quite good. |

I'm still working on it. First I lost interest, then I gained the interest back, now college has recently gotten in the way. I've written about 1k words in the past 4 days though, so some progress is happening. Don't lost faith in me yet. |
