Anthro means Human qualities on non human things. The ponies are sapient quadrupeds, they think, act, talk and form communities like humans. |

1: The art is good. It's well drawn, funny, and is all-around good. Don't like anthro? Then GTFO.
2: It's A LOT better then a lot of the other sonic crossover stuff I have seen... A LOT. OMGSONICSUXTERRIBLECROSSOVER is a stupid reason to not like this... I've seen worse crossovers with GOOD things. 3: Thriller Gummy. It's thriller night. The only thing this is missing is some Luna. That's my only complaint. |

I'm ok with anthro (as anon 625 pointed out, even the regular ponies are anthro to an extent), I love this guy's art style, but I hate how he shoe-horns Sonic characters in his drawings. Fine, he's a Sonic fan, that's his thing and I'm cool with it but there is NO reason he has to muck up awesome in-universe drawings with pointless crossovers. Sure, it's his decision since it is his art but it seems needless and detracts from what is otherwise a great picture. Heck, Sonic and Tails aren't even doing anything where another actual pony character couldn't fill their place: Tails is just standing there barely looking at Spike and Pinkie Pie and thus could be removed, and Sonic could be Luna instead, who no doubt would be wearing the same (or similar) expression should she see Discord handing out candy.
Just my opinion, felt a bit ranty about the situation. Like I said before, I do like his style and I respect that it is his art to do with what he will. He does get points back for Thriller Gummy. |

I'm curious but i have found that there's some shit load of contradictions within the fanbase, not trolling, but the amount of people who want to.
"Tap that plot..." On a four legged talking equine is ridiculously high in a number of other pics. And yet when we end up with good looking pics with anthro poines, and furry like images which are good not the shitty ones. "WTF, Yiff in helll!!!!!" Reactions are tantamount and seriously fucking high. And then there's that reasonable people who are. "We're okay with this, but no shitty art works..." But these people are really hard to find. So can someone please explain what the fucks going on here??? And also aren't the MLP cast already anthro? They have human qualities in the first place for being able to talk and act as living human beings. So what the fuck's with the anthro hate??? |
