In the game Ruby is indeed a filly, but for some reason (memetic migration?), recent drawings of her have been showing her as an adult. |

Yay! I always love seeing new fan-art of this game! ...But awwww, I'm positive Ruby's supposed to be a child, like AppleBloom. Not complaining, but I'd love to see that in future fanart. |

I know ruby is supposed to be a filly, but with the way that whole village is set up, to me, it makes sense she'd probably be a late bloomer and either be a not quite fully grown mare or actually grown.
Outside, that is a NICE picture. |

Ruby is confirmed by both her in-game sprites and the creator of the game as being a filly. Though for whatever reason, alot of people somehow end up interpretting her as an adult.
I dunno. Once I saw her talking portrait and compared her size to Apple Bloom, I always thought she was a filly. |
