We shouldn't have to avoid humanizations, we should just be able to keep very rude and loud opinions regarding them to ourselves (example, quoting directly from another image: "why is twilight a nigger this is the ugliest shit I've ever seen kill yourself") |

Twi striked me as strangely asian.
You know those eyes and endless desire for studying. Never thought of Latino RD... i mean why should she be latino? As for making Twi black... sure you can make her black but if we were to follow the canon (lol canon humanizations) then only zebras would turn out black when humanized since ZEBRAS are the BLACK people of the pony world. |

Perhaps there's something to be said for zebras having a "default" ethnic mapping. But as far as I'm concerned, the mapping of pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies to human ethnic or cultural backgrounds is as arbitrary and subject to artist whims as deciding what gender to give a humanized stove.
People care too much about the color of people's skin. Not everything has to be a federal fucking issue. |

I see human!Twi as mixed race, but I'm not sure what her exact heritage would be. Mid-brown skin though. Twi is sort of the linchpin and a little bit of everything (plus the whole namecanon thing).
Is piebald an option? |
