To set up this filming environment, extract the "materials", "models", and "sound" folders into SourceFilmmaker/game/usermod/. Extract rainbowhitsground2.dmx wherever you like (and remember its location).

The items in postproduction_effects are not likely to be usable by you unless you have the same version of Sony Vegas as I do. However, certain aspects of the video weren't as easy to do in Source Filmmaker, so there it's easier to see what was added in afterwards.

To export film from Source Filmmaker, I used the image sequence export option. This takes up gigabytes of hard drive space, but the idea is for it to not stick around quite so long. On my computer, I have an "assembly room" folder for footage exported from Source Filmmaker, soon to be processed through my video editor, that will later be discarded.
