Chapter 23-26

Chapter 23

Gavin and Alicia, who had sprouted a loving relationship, are now gone in a single strike by the evil ones. Phillip has suffered a lot tonight and I'm sure will need time to recover from the mental scars that it will leave on him. For right now all we can do is get him home and cleaned up, and tomorrow we will tend to burying Gavin. The whole ride home Phil looked out the window staring straight ahead.

"Guys, tomorrow everyone is going to town so we can bury Gavin in the cemetery the right way like it should be. He deserves at least that much from us," I said.

We arrived at the old barn a little while later and parked the truck, placed Gavin on the ATV. Then we all piled on and left for the mine. About half way back up the hill to the mine Phillip spoke finally. "She was pregnant," was all he said.

"Who Alicia? She was pregnant?" AJ asked.

"Yeah she was," He answered.

"It was Gavin's I am assuming?" I said.

Phil then went silent again. I just guessed he didn't want to talk about it any more. The rest of the short ride to the mine was quiet except for the engine chugging up the hill. We were met at the entrance by Adrien and Carry who looked like they were dreading what was about to happen.

"Where is Alicia?" Carry asked.

"You didn't tell them?" I asked Adrien, referring to him telling everyone what had happened.

"No I haven't. I can not find the words to explain what went on tonight," he replied.

"Gee thanks for putting it on me to tell them," I said being sarcastic and now dreading what was about to happen myself.

"Where is Alicia?" Carry asked again demanding it this time.

"Dead," Phillip said still sitting on the ATV staring ahead. "They're both dead," he said again.

Carry instantly broke out in tears and started bawling. She grabbed Adrien in a hug and buried her face in his chest. He looked at me and asked me mentally what he should do. I told him just to hold her and comfort her. I knew Adrien felt bad over what had happened to the friend who rescued him from that tiny cell he was confined in, but he didn't know how to express it besides a few tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Come on, let's get inside out of the night," I said.

AJ and Joe helped Phillip into the mine while Adrien accompanied his girl inside. I backed the ATV into the mine and decided to leave Gavin's body on the back of it till tomorrow when we could burry him. "I hope you are in a much better place than we are now my friend," I said to his body before I covered him up and went into the cave entrance not wanting to do what I was going to have to, tell the others.

I walked in and the twins were swarmed around their sister wondering why she was crying so badly. "What happened to Phillip?" Nathan asked me.

"Everyone please listen to me. Something bad happened at the bunker tonight. The monsters attacked it and bad things happened. You all have seen Phil; he's hurting and in pain. Gavin and Alicia weren't as lucky, though. Gavin died from the injuries he got from fighting off the monsters and Alicia was killed and taken by the monsters," I said trying to choke back from crying outright.

The younger kids started to tear up and before long there wasn't a dry eye in the cave. Everyone was either crying or venting their pain in some way. Alicia was like the older sister to all the kids from the orphanage, and now she was gone. It took some time for everyone to calm down enough to talk.

"How did this happen? Cole asked.

"They knew where the place was from when they attacked it last time. I guess they just went back to check it out and found them there," I said, not sure of why they attacked. "Tomorrow we're all going to town to burry Gavin in the cemetery. He doesn't deserve to just be put in some hole in the woods," I told everyone.

I turned my attention to Phillip who was just sitting on the ground leaning against the wall. "Hey bud how about a warm bath to get cleaned up?" I asked. He just said ok and I helped him up and to the hot spring. He had a slight limp from the fight with the monster, but it wasn't bad.

We got to the hot spring and I steadied him as he took his shorts and underwear off then stepped into the hot water. "Ok bud go ahead and clean up and I'll go get you some food. I know you got to be hungry," I told him. He began to wash the filth and blood off himself while I went to get him something quick to eat.

I arrived back a short time later with a can of pop and a bowl of warm soup. "Thanks. I haven't had anything like this to eat in a long time," he said stopping washing temporarily to eat. The water in the hot spring would definitely have to recycle and run through before any one else got in it. The amount of dirt, grime, and blood coming off of his body made the water seriously dirty.

I sat down next to the water and talked with him as he ate. "Are you positive Alicia was pregnant?" I asked.

"Yes. She was starting to get a belly on her and she was always getting sick in the morning," he answered.

"Was it hers and Gavin's?" I asked not sure.

"Truthfully I don't know," he answered blowing me away.

"You mean you and Gavin were both, you know, doing it with her?" I asked.

"Gavin was all the time. Yes, I did one time. Only cus she felt bad for me though," he said.

I couldn't believe it. Alicia had been having sex with Gavin and Phillip. Now I know why he felt so bad over the whole thing and didn't know how to express it. Alicia was pregnant and the baby could possibly have been his.

"Wait a second," I said to myself then. "Umm… Phillip, can you cum yet?" I asked.

"Cum?" he asked me, not knowing what I meant.

"You know, can you squirt stuff out of your dick when you do it?" I said.

"Only like a drop and it's clear," he responded.

"Ok I happen to know that Gavin could squirt a lot of white jiz. What I'm saying is if you can only squirt a drop of clear stuff and you only did it with her one time I doubt the baby could have been yours. Most likely it was Gavin's," I said, trying to lift some of the burden off his mind.

"You really think so?" he asked.

"Yep. Not to be mean, but you're not that far into puberty yet ok. So the chances that you could have got her pregnant were slim," I told him. We chatted a bit more while he ate his food and washed off. I was trying my best to distract his mind off of the events of the night, and I think mine, too.

"Do you have anything I can wear?" he asked me when he finished getting cleaned up.

"Umm, actually we all just go naked most of the time when we're in the cave. So if you're not shy just dry off and come out to the common area," I told him. At this point in time I don't think he gave much of a shit who saw him naked, even though we all had already at the orphanage. He stepped out of the water and toweled off being careful around a few tender spots on his body resulting from the attack.

In the common area everyone was trying to cope with the loss of their friends in their own ways. Carry and Adrien were cuddling together and most of the others were just sitting around not really doing much but being lost in their thoughts. I led Phil out to them since he was having a hard time seeing clearly without his glasses. He sat down slowly on the ground and a few of the guys scooted next to him to show support.

Carry came to him and grabbed him in a hug to show she cared. He broke down crying again and just hugged back. "Let it out," she told him. He cried for a few minutes then settled down.

"It was so awful. We were about to go to bed and we heard some noises coming from the surface like a loud rumbling. The next thing I knew we were shooting at monsters coming through the blast door to the bunker. We tried to fight them off but they blew the place up and…," he said trailing off.

"It's ok we get the picture. You don't have to go on," Carry told him.

Phillip had definitely been through hell tonight and I could tell he needed some rest. "Come on everyone lets let him get some rest," I said. I helped him up again and led him to the bedchamber and let him just pick a spot. He lay down and it seemed like as soon as he was comfortable he was out. I left him and went back to the common room to the others.

"Alicia was pregnant with Gavin's baby. Phil told me in the hot spring," I told the others. It didn't seem to make any one feel any better about the situation. "We need to get some sleep. Tomorrow we're going to the cemetery and burry our friend so lets get some sleep," I suggested. Adrien decided to sleep with Carry in her room for now since Phillip was in his sleeping spot.

The rest of us quietly went to our sleeping chamber and lay down on the huge bed. I lay down on my back and, unexpected to me, I had some one cuddle up to me on each side. On my left it was Zack and the right it was Justin. I wrapped my arms around them and held them as we fell asleep. The little guys just needed some comfort in their time of sorrow. Alicia was like the big sister that took care of them at the orphanage, and they were feeling her loss now. The night drug on like eternity and I didn't get much sleep from the little guys rolling and tossing and turning all night long. It got to the point where I couldn't wait for the alarm on my watch to go off telling me it was morning.

Morning did finally come and I woke everyone up to get ready to go to town so we could burry Gavin. I got dressed before everyone else and went to our 'command center' to check on the camera we had set up outside to see what the weather was like.

"Fuck that's just great," I said seeing the drops of rain falling on the display. We were going to dig in the rain and mud to get the grave dug, but it had to be done. Everyone was in a somber mood because they knew today was going to be a hard one for all of us, especially the ones of us that had to dig the hole.

"Ok guys, come on. Let's get a move on; the hole's not gonna dig its self," I said putting my shoes on. Everyone got dressed pretty quickly except for Phillip. I had totally forgotten about him not having any clothes here to wear. I got him a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt to wear since it was all I had that would fit him.

We all filed out of the cave into the mineshaft to see the lifeless corpse lying on the back of the ATV. A few of the guys got teary-eyed but contained their emotions for the moment. I started the ATV up and let Phillip ride on it with me since he had no shoes on, and pulled it outside. Once we were all outside Adrien turned on the hologram over the mine entrance from a remote control he had made.

I slowly steered the ATV down the hill with everyone walking close behind. Of course we brought a few guns with us just in case, and Lucky our super killer attack dog.

The ride to town took almost twice as long as normal but we got to the cemetery a while later. A few of the boys were carrying shovels and picks so we could dig a hole. When we got to the cemetery we picked out a great spot next to a nice looking cherry tree. I parked a few feet away from it and we got ready to dig. Carry and the younger boys went off to find some large rocks we could make a grave marker with, and the bigger guys and I took turns digging the hole. Those of us with super abilities kept our senses tuned tightly for any signs of monsters coming, because if they were to come while we were here we would be in a world of trouble. By noon we had the hole dug deep enough to put Gavin in it and had gathered enough stones and rocks to make a decent marker.

Now it was time for the really difficult part, putting our friend in the ground. Josiah and I were the ones delegated this dirty job. I helped him get the body off the ATV then I got in the hole to help lower Gavin into it. Joey helped me out of the hole once we had the body in it.

"Does any one want to say anything?" I asked.

"I don't know if there is a god or whatever, but if there is I'm sure Gavin is in heaven right now with Alicia. I hope you both are happy and well now," Carry said through her tears. That brought most of the boys to tears, also. I tried my best to hold my composure but my eyes teared-up as well.

"Be at peace my friend. You saved me from almost certain death and helped me realize my humanity and I will never forget that. Good-bye my friend," Adrien said from the depths of his heart as his dark eyes began to trail tears as well.

"I don't really know what to say here. Gavin you were a good friend and I hope I'll see you again someday. Tell our parents and loved ones up there that we love them. See ya man," I said not being able to find better words for the occasion.

Everyone then dropped a single flower that Carry had picked nearby onto him and the task of filling in the grave started. We each dropped a handful of dirt on him before the shovels took over. We filled in his grave with a small mound of dirt on the top signifying that this was a fresh grave. We then began to stack the rocks and stones at the head of the grave marking its location.

On the top of the pile of stones Phillip took off a cross that he had been wearing around his neck and placed it on top. "Sorry I couldn't save you," He said before walking to the ATV and sitting down staring off into space. "Ok guys lets get home and out of this rain," I said wiping the dripping water off of my face.

After we got home, I decided to take Phil to town so he could get some clothes of his own to wear that actually fit him. He had gotten a bit bigger over the last months being in the bunker. Not tall bigger so much as he had gotten heavier bigger. I was also going to go to the pharmacy to see if, by chance, we might be able to find him some glasses that he might be able to see through. The poor kid kept bumping into things or squinting trying to see where he was going or what he was doing.

At the cave he and I changed clothes and put on rain coats before heading back out into the downpour. We arrived at Walmart a while later and, as always, went inside with my gun drawn and ready to fire. After checking the place out we went to the boys and men's section and found him some clothes that fit. He had little problem in finding his sizes since he was the only one in our group that wore them, big. I didn't want to call him fat really, but he was a lot huskier than I am and almost as tall as me.

He got a pair of shoes that fit, too and we then checked the pharmacy department to see if they might have some glasses for him. With luck he did find a pair of reading glasses that helped him to see. He said they weren't perfect but he could see better than without them.

I looked around the store and the place looked like it was returning to nature. There were leaves all over the floor from the previous fall and the place smelled of the outdoors. Basically the inside was becoming the outside due to the big hole in the roof. We have almost pilfered the place for just about every usable thing there was to get that we needed.

When we had enough stuff for Phillip we bagged the stuff up in two bags to keep the rain from getting to it and headed back for home. I tried to make small talk with him on the way home but he seemed to not want to talk much. I asked about what they did in the bunker all day to kill time and he just said "Stuff."

It was then I decided to read his thoughts and I found out what 'stuff' was exactly. He had been enjoying blowjobs from Alicia on a regular basis. And the rest of the free time was spent either reading or jerking his cock. Not much to do in that place if you ask me, even though he did get sucked off a lot.

One item I had picked up at the store was something we all needed now, a set of electric hair clippers. We arrived at the mine a few minutes later and, as always, backed inside through the hologram hiding the entrance. AJ met us at the door to the cave from the mine storeroom to unlock it so we could get into the cave.

Phil took his stuff we just got to one of the storerooms and put it in his own area. Everyone else for the most part wasn't saying much or doing much but were dwelling in their own thoughts. I carried the small bag of stuff I got to the kitchen and Zack and Justin followed me in to see what I had gotten, being the curious little kids they were. "What did you get us?" Justin asked.

"A hair cut in a bag," I said smiling. They looked at each other like they didn't have a clue what I was talking about. "I got a set of hair clippers and some scissors so we can trim our hair," I explained.

"Are you gonna make us shave our heads?" Justin asked with a dreadful look.

"No, why would you ask me that?" I asked.

"Because they made all the boys get either heads shaved or almost shaved the home," Carry said as she walked in.

"No dudes I'm not going to make you shave them, not unless you want to," I told the boys. They both had a look of relief on their faces. I unpacked the bag and began to tear open the plastic enclosing the electric clippers. "Who's first?" I asked and the two of them scattered.

I looked at Carry like "what the hell?"

"They always hated getting hair cuts. The lady that did it at the home was rough with them when she did it," she explained.

I, for one, was definitely ready to get my bushy-ass head trimmed down; it was driving me crazy having longer hair. "Umm… Carry if you're not really busy at the moment could you trim me up a little?" I asked her.

She smiled and grabbed the clippers. "How short do you want it and stuff?" she asked.

"Cut it all down to about an inch; then trim the sides down a little more," I told her explaining how I usually got it cut before. I sat down on the bench and took my shirt off before she got started. She set the guard on the clippers to the length I wanted then went to town on my head. Hearing the sound and feeling the vibrations of the clippers brought back memories of when I use to go with my dad to get my hair cut. While I was walking down memory lane, AJ walked in the room.

"Cool I'm next!" he beamed.

"I'm not your guys' barber," Carry wined.

"I'll do it, like everything else, I guess," I said being sarcastic.

Carry finished me up a few minutes later and handed me a mirror. "How's that?" she asked.

"Looks good, thanks," I replied. It did feel much better now to me to have my head breathe a little more. I dusted the hair off my body and got up so Adam could sit down.

"How you want yours?" I asked him.

"Just like yours," he said.

I flipped the clippers on and went to town on AJ's shaggy head. It didn't take me long to get him all trimmed up. I dusted the loose hair off his shoulders and neck and he turned around to face me when I was all done. "Wow," is all I said.

"Wow what?" he asked.

"You look… fucking hot," I said giggling a little. He smiled and blushed like crazy. "I bet your mini me is going to be even cuter," I said referring to Donny.

"Shut up," he said hitting me in the arm and laughing.

"Ok, ok sorry. Go tell some of the guys it's their turn if they want," I told AJ and laughing. AJ left to tell the others as I cleaned up our hair that was on the ground and bench now.

About an hour later I had gone through most of the guys that wanted their hair cut, cutting it in the way they wanted. A few of them either weren't in the mood for a hair cut right now or just didn't want it cut. Adrien, for one, didn't really even need one since his hair was already so short. Nathan was the only one that wanted his head completely shaved; he seemed to like it that way. Too bad; it's a pity. He looks cute with the hair he has.

When we all were done getting cut, we went a few at a time to the hot spring to unwind and clean the cut hair off of us. I was definitely right about one thing though, Donny definitely was cuter than AJ when his got done. He got it cut just AJ and I, but he was way cuter.

It finally came to be my turn in the bath and I got in with the twins and Nathan. I sat back and just relaxed in the water hoping it would soak away some of the knots in my muscles from digging the grave earlier in the day. The other boys just splashed and played mildly as we bathed.

One thing did make me open my eyes, though. It was when I felt a hand touch the tip of my dick. I looked to see who it was and it was Cody smiling at me. "You better quit that or something bad is going to happen," I said.

"Like what?" he said, genuinely curious.

"This!" I said as I grabbed the little guy in a tickle torture. He was writhing with laughter as I jabbed at his ribs and poked around his belly with my fingers.

"Stop! Stop! I'm gonna pee!" he said through his heavy laughter. I let him go then and he was still giggling trying to catch his breath. His brother just looked at him and shook his head.

"What? You want some to?" I said, grabbing Cole in the same torturous grip. I tickled him just as bad as I did his twin, only at the end I gave his pecker a squeeze for good measure.

The twins were defeated in the horseplay department and now only Nate was left. I looked at him with an evil grin and lurched at him slowly.

"No way not me!" he said as he tried to get away. The twins grabbed him and held him while I wrapped him up in my arms and went to town on his ribs and tummy. He was giggling and squealing like crazy as we all three tickled him. I could tell he had enough when he started to have strained breathing so I told the twins it was enough. They stopped tickling him and decided to get out and dry off but he and I stayed in.

I for, one, still needed a little more soak time in the hot water and Nathan needed a little time to catch his breath. "God I hate it when you guys do that," he said heaving. He decided to get out to a short time later and that left me alone to think and soak. I sat back in the water and closed my eyes and let my mind soar.

All I could think of was my recently departed friends and how their loss was affecting the rest of the group, especially poor Phil. He felt so guilty over being the only one of the three that survived the attack.

I tried to redirect my thoughts to the future and where we were going to possibly live in the tropics. I had been to the Bahamas before but that didn't mean that was where were going to end up. I always liked the time I got to spend there and was looking forward to being able to maybe go there again. I must have dozed off in the water because the next thing I knew I was shaken awake by Chris.

"What's up dude?" I asked.

"Nothing. You was snoring and I thought it might not be a good idea to let you sleep in the bath tub," he replied.

"What time is it?" I inquired.

"Almost 7 pm," he answered. I got out of the water and my skin had turned to that wrinkly prune look that you get form being in water too long. I dried off and walked with my little buddy back to the common area. Most of the boys were in there playing a game or reading, but for the most part it was quiet.

Chris and I found Adrien was in the 'command center' working on the plans and stuff for the alien ship. "How's things going?" I asked.

"I believe I can get the ship under power and use the substrait engines to get us to our destination," he said.

"Huh?" Chris asked puzzled.

"He means the ship will have low gear," I explained.

"Oh. Ok I guess. When are we leaving?" Chris asked. We both looked at Adrien then.

"It will not be long. We can make it there on the substrait engines and I almost have the cloaking shields repaired," he said.

"How much longer do you think as an estimate?" I asked.

"Two or three days maybe," Adrien said lifting Chris' spirits.

"Cool!" he chimed.

"Why is there such a rush on this?" Adrien asked.

"It's not really a rush I just want to know how long we have to get every thing organized and ready to go. I mean, shit, dude it'll take us a few days to get everything packed, ready and down to the ship to load it," I explained.

"Ok I see the logic in that now. I guess maybe we should start preparing as soon as possible," Adrien said.

I left him then to spread the good news, but Chris beat me to it. "Hey everyone we're leaving soon! So tomorrow start getting your stuff packed," he said like the hyper little dude he is.

"Whoa, whoa slow down. Adrien isn't done with the ship yet, so we have a few days to get ready while he gets the shields repaired on the ship," I stated to everyone. That news lifted everyone's spirits from the dreadfulness of earlier today.

"What all are we taking with us?" AJ asked.

"As much as we can. That ship has a pretty damn big cargo area so we should be able to cram a lot in it," I said.

"Like what exactly?" Josiah asked.

"Well I think we should take as much food and supplies as we can get our hands on. Let's see… we should raid the Walmart and get what ever we may need or want. We should take some stuff to build a new home just in case we have to. We are definitely taking our beds and stuff with us. I think we should take the ATV in case we may need it," I said rattling off a list of things.

"We should go to the pharmacy, too, and grab anything we can carry just in case as well," Carry suggested.

"May I suggest we take our power and information systems for the cave with us as well," Adrien said from behind me.

"Definitely! We are going to need this stuff. It's not every day you get your hands on an alien device like that," I told him.

"So basically it means we are all going to be working our asses off in the next few days, right?" Adam said.

"Looks that way yeah. We'll work out the details of it all tomorrow. Let's get a good night's rest so we have plenty of time tomorrow to get some stuff done," I replied. With the good news I knew it was going to be hard for some of the guys to go to sleep, but for me I was sore as hell from digging that grave and ready for a good nap.

We all got to our sleeping areas and got comfy. Some of the guys read a comic book or something to help them fall asleep, but I dozed right away. I was so tired I did something I rarely did; I snored like hell. Justin wakened me some time later asking me to please turn on my side or something because he couldn't sleep because of my snoring. I turned on my side and cuddled up to the back of someone. I didn't know who it was at first but turned out to be Donny. I wrapped an arm over him and fell back to sleep peacefully this time.

Chapter 24

They have gathered an abundance of things including any good lumber, building materials and wiring they could find just in case they needed to build some sort of shack when they get to their destination. Most of the systems Adrien had put in the cave like the power and security systems have already been stripped out and packed away in the ship's cargo area. The solar panels Adrien built that were on top of the hill were removed and also put in the ship.

The last major thing to be removed from the cave was the Alien device they were using to power some of their stuff and run all of their electronic gear.

"Hey Adrien, are you sure that the ship isn't gonna crash and kill us all?" Chris asked.

"I cannot guarantee anything but I think we have done a good job on it. I believe we will be fine. But I am going to test the systems personally before we all pile inside," Adrien said, reassuring the nervous little dude.

We had already taken all of our bedding and clothes and belongings into the ship and we all had a sleeping bag and a pillow left in the cave to sleep on our last night in it. All of the food and provisions were packed and ready to go in the cart attached to the back of the ATV. We are all going to sleep together as a group tonight in the common area for security and just to say good-bye to our current home.

Adrien has gotten the cloaking shields working on the ship and the engines were working good enough to get us where we were going. I mean it's a space ship for shit's sakes, but it is only going to fly a few thousand miles maybe.

As for the power system in the cave, we were going to dismantle the remainder of it in the morning before we leave for the last time, only so we can have the hologram to hide the mine entrance still running over night. Dinner would be something simple so that we didn't need to clean up much.

The next morning came all too soon as we were piling the last of our stuff on the ATV to take to the ship to be loaded. Once we got there Adrien went right to work on the ship as the others unpacked the ATV.

"Ok I have gone through the preliminary check list and I believe we will have a green flag tomorrow," Adrien said.

"You sure you can fly this thing?" AJ asked him.

At first he didn't know what to say. "I do not know for sure. I will do my best, though. The systems are mostly automatic but we will have to program the destination," Adrien answered.

"Ok just making sure," AJ said giving him a sarcastic thumbs up.

Adrien looked at me and gave me the thumbs up with a puzzled look asking me what it meant.

"Don't worry about it. He's being his normal self," I told him.

"You mean obnoxious and rude?" Adrien asked.

"Yep. That's our Adam," I said laughing.

"Look man, it's still early enough I'm going to town for one last trip to get the last few things we need. I'm going to take Chris with me and maybe his nose and ears might pick something up before I do," I told Adrien.

"Ok I will get the ship ready to fly. I want to do a test-flight to make sure the bugs are worked out before tomorrow," He replied.

I gathered Chris and told him what we were going to do and we got on the ATV and headed to town one last time. "What are we going after?" he asked on the way.

"Well for one thing, sun-block. If we are going to the tropics it's going to be sunny there all year so we are going to need it at first, and some swimming trunks. I mean I'm all for being nekked all the time but I don't want sunburn on my dick or my ass," I explained.

We arrived at the outskirts of town a few minutes later with our guns at the ready as usual. We went into the Walmart, which is now almost stripped of usable things and got what we needed.

"Hey you know what? I just thought of something. Can't we stop at another Walmart or something on the way to where we are going?" Chris said making a damn good point.

"Damn that is a good idea, bud. I may have to give you something special for thinking of that," I told him, winking at him.

"You mean what I think you do?" he asked.

"Maybe. You want to?" I said hinting. With out saying a word his hands flew to his zipper and button of his jeans. In a flash they were around his ankles and his little shaft was getting hard rapidly. Since we were at the check out lane I helped him hop up on one of the counters and then I went to town slobbing his yummy little knob. He moaned like he hadn't had any kind of fun like this in a long time, even though I knew he did daily.

I was starting to get into a good rhythm going up and down on him when something caught both of our attentions making us stop instantly. I let his pecker fall from my lips and rose up to look at his face.

"You hear it don't you?" I asked.

He nodded yes with a scared and concerned look.

"Get dressed quick. We have to get the fuck out of here now!" I said, stressing now.

He pulled his pants back up and I dragged him out before he even had them fastened. We jumped on the ATV and took off for the ship as fast as I could get the thing to go.

"Come on dammit!" I said trying to push the gas pedal further and harder than it could go.

"Adrien! Change of plans! Get everyone in the ship now! Chris and I are coming as fast as we can. We're leaving ASAP," I said to Adrien, through my thoughts.

"I have already started the start sequence for the engines. I sensed the threat as well," he said back to me. We tore through the trees and brush still going as fast as we could up the hill to the ship.

"Derrik I heard something but what was it? I'm scared," Chris said, starting to cry.

"It's them they're coming," I said referring to the monsters. Chris then began to freak out a little. "Hey don't worry, bud. We're going to get to the ship and then it's off to swimming and playing all day, ok. So don't worry. When we get to where we're going I'll finish what we was just doing," I said, trying to calm him.

Adrien had the ship online and ready for it's maiden flight, the first since we repaired it after it crashed. Everyone was inside and ready for the flight and he had the cargo opening open so we could just drive right in with the ATV. I kept the ATV gas pedal to the floor as we approached the ship and didn't let off till we were inside.

As soon as we were inside Adrien closed the door and activated the cloaking shields. "Come on let's get to the control room," I told Chris who was still a bit shaken.

We got to the control room and everyone was there sitting on the floor except the hybrid who was operating the control systems. The ship could only be controlled by some one with the mental abilities that Adrien and I have. Any normal person would have a hard time getting the ship to do much.

"Adrien I know you wanted to test this bird out, but we need to go now. They are close," I said to him as he got the ship systems all going.

"Who is close?" Carry asked.

"Monsters! I heard them in Walmart when Derrik was su…" Chris started to give away what we were doing when we heard them but stopped in mid sentence.

"It's a lot of them and they are on foot," I told everyone.

Some of them started to cry in fear. I was a little scared myself. If we didn't die from the ship crashing with us in it then the monsters might find us and then we'd still be in a world of shit.

"Everyone hang on," Adrien said as we felt the ship begin to shudder. He turned on the view screen and we could see the ground start to disappear under us. We were now in flight.

"Derrik please take the other position," Adrien said as a chair that we didn't know was there came up out of the floor. I sat in it and something came down from the ceiling and stopped just above my head. "Try to concentrate on the ship," Adrien said.

A beam of light came out of the thing above me and shined on my head. All of the sudden it felt like I was a physical part of the ship. "Wow. Do you feel this, too?" I asked Adrien.

"Yes, if you mean being one with the craft," he answered.

"What is it?" Cody asked me.

"It's like I'm part of the ship. It's wild! I can see everything under us. It's like being a bird and flying," I replied. We got over the top of town and Adrien stopped the ship in a hover. It was then we saw something shocking. The soldier that we had dealt with previously was running through town being chased by the monsters.

"Holy shit, look at all of them!" AJ said at the large number of beasts.

I turned and looked at Adrien. "Yes you are right," he said. The ship then shot a burst of energy at the monsters destroying them.

"Wow did we just do that?" Donny asked.

"Yes it was the ship's ion cannon," Adrien said.

"Cool! This is better than a video game!" Donny said then.

We had saved the soldier from being killed, but maybe only for now. It was true he did cause us some hard times and pain, but we couldn't just condemn him to a death by those monsters. That would be inhumane even for us dumb kids. The simple fact was we saved him this time, but now he's on his own.

He was too much of a risk for us to try to take with us again. He tried to kill Adam once and almost did kill Gavin when he shot him.

The ship under Adrien's control continued on over the landscape giving us an eagle's eye view of it. As we flew over the orphanage some of the others were saddened to see that it had been seriously damaged by the monsters attack. It was practically on the verge of collapsing.

"Wow it's a good thing we decided to get to the mine," Nathan said.

"Well Adrien, I'd say that so far it's a successful test flight," Phillip told him.

"Do you guys want to experience something out of this world?" Adrien asked. Everyone looked at each other and wondered what he was talking about.

"Go for it," I told him, knowing what he was going to do.

"Whoa what the fuck!" AJ said as he began to float off the floor. Adrien had temporarily disengaged the gravity in the ship making it feel like we were in outer space. It took everyone by surprise at first, but then the younger guys loved the sensation.

"Wow this is like swimming with out the water," Justin said, making like he was paddling in a swimming pool. After a short time of weightlessness everyone gently settled back to the floor getting a lot of moans and groans that the thrill ride was over.

"I apologize but it takes a lot of concentration to keep the ship going," Adrien told them. I could feel my mind flowing even further into the ships systems as I began to figure out how to work things.

"Now that we have concluded the ship is safe to fly where are we going?" Adrien asked.

"Damn good question. I had my heart set on the Bahamas, but I guess there are other places we could go," I replied.

"We can try the Bahamas first and if that place is not good for us we can try somewhere else," Adrien suggested. I guess the course was set then. Grand Bahama Island, here we come.

We flew for hours over the countryside seeing town after town that had been devastated by the monster invasion forces. Almost everywhere we looked there was devastation. The ship was not going at its normal blistering speed that it was capable of when it is operating normally; but, from what I could tell, we were cruising around 300 miles [500 km] an hour. In only a few hours' time we were very far from home, further from home than some of us had ever been.

We came upon a town in northern Georgia that looked relatively partially intact. "Wow check it out guys, building that aren't leveled," I pointed out to the group.

"Wonder why they didn't mess this place up, too," Carry said.

"Uncertain. There doesn't seem to be anything abnormal about the geography," Adrien said.

"Look a Walmart, imagine that," AJ said pointing out that almost every town we had seen so far had a Walmart in it. Only thing was, this one was still standing.

"You guys thinking what I am?" I asked everyone.

"Umm… Shopping trip?" Chris said.

"Exactly. There has to be tons of stuff in there that we couldn't get at home cus it was destroyed," I said.

"I will land in the parking lot," Adrien said. The ship descended slowly to the ground and the landing legs deployed so we could set down normally. As we neared the ground a few light poles got in the way and were bent over to the ground like matchsticks. One of the landing legs settled on the top of a brand new Mercedes crushing it like a beer can.

"Hope he's got full coverage insurance," Cole said, making every one bust out laughing.

The ship left one huge footprint in the black top of the parking lot. Adrien opened the hatch and lowered the ramp so we could get outside of the ship. I disconnected my mind from the ship and got out of the chair as it lowered back into the floor.

"I will stay and monitor for trouble," Adrien said.

"Ok. I'll try not to be in there too long, dude. I know you want to look around and spend some time with Carry," I told him as I left the ship with the others. Four of us had guns and had them at the ready as we approached the front doors of the place. "Every one in a tight group. Guns up and eyes open guys," I told every one. I didn't sense any presence, but that didn't mean there wasn't something amiss.

We went through each isle and checked the place out thoroughly before we commenced to shop for free.

"All right I guess it's all clear. Everyone grab a cart and go nuts," I said, grabbing my own cart. We each had our own cart and the guys were talking about what they were going to grab. The younger ones, of course, wanted toys, and I was more concerned with what kind of food and supplies they had. We walked through the building as a group grabbing things here and there as we went.

As we approached the toy department Zack, Justin, and Donny were practically drooling. The twins wanted a few things, but they were in no way as hyper as the littler guys were over the toys. We filled our carts to capacity then rolled them outside to load them.

I went up to let Adrien know that the place was a jackpot and we could get a lot of supplies here, so he agreed to keep watch a while longer. We all went back inside, this time for the essentials like food and clothes and supplies. We all grabbed some new clothes and shoes for the next cartload.

This time, Carry took my cart out to the ship as I grabbed another and began to collect medicines and anything in the pharmacy we could use to fill this cart with. I rolled it to the front door and set it there and grabbed one more cart. This time I made it to sporting goods and took all the guns and ammunition I could just in case we might need it. As I broke open a display case, AJ walked up with an empty cart.

"What should we put in this one?" he asked.

"Grab a bunch of fishing gear and stuff and pile it in there. We are going to the tropics you know. We may need to catch fish to eat eventually," I said. He piled his cart full and took it out as I was filling mine up.

In the end we had nearly 40 carts full of supplies and clothes and other things we wanted before Adrien even got to go into the building. "Ok I think you can disconnect now and get yourself some things," I told him as I came to the control center when I was done shopping.

"Oh but I want to make sure you have a handle on the ship before I go," he said before the chair I was in rose back out of the floor again. I sat down and patched into the ships systems like before and it was like I was watching everything from a high place above us and I could see in all directions at once. Only then did Adrien leave and go inside with Carry.

Carry helped him pick out clothes and things like that to fill one cart then he grabbed another for supplies he felt like we might need. He went to the hardware department and grabbed every scrap of wire he could find and anything else that looked useful. Then it was a cartload from electronics. He had a couple laptop computers he wanted for parts and lots of other stuff, too. In the end he had gotten five carts of supplies and clothes himself.

He had all kinds of things that I would have never of thought of in his carts, like bug spray. I never gave a thought to needing it, but we might. As he was inside getting his final cart of supplies with Carry she stopped in mid-stride.

"What is wrong?" he asked her.

"Oh it's nothing," she said holding her stomach. Adrien put his hand on her stomach and then had an astounded look on his face. "Oh goodness," he said looking into her eyes.

"What?" she asked, not knowing why he said that. She thought she had a stomach cramp or something.

"WE have… you and I have…," Adrien tried to say.

"What?" she asked again.

"Conceived," he said then with a look he had never shown before. It was a look of fear, happiness, and wonder all at once.

"What? You mean I'm pregnant?" Carry asked getting a worried look. Adrien only slowly nodded his head yes. "Oh fuck now what are we going to do?" she said starting to hyperventilate.

"Calm down. We will work through this. I love you," he told her as her eyes began to tear up.

"That's the first time you ever said that to me," she said as she smiled and hugged him. She was happy and scared at the same time of the thought of becoming a mother. "Are you positive I am… you know" she said hinting to her pregnancy.

"You could say that. I felt the heart beating," he told her. Now knowing why she had been feeling so bad in the mornings, she continued on with him gathering supplies so the trip could proceed. In the ship they stowed the last of the carts of supplies and walked hand in hand to the control center where the rest of us were.

"Eww gross!" Cole said as he saw his sister walk in holding Adrien's hand.

"No grosser than you putting your brothers thing in your mouth," she replied making him scowl and us laugh.

"We have some news," she said. We all looked that the two of them wondering what was up. "Well, let's just say it like this, uncle Cody and uncle Cole," she said. At first they didn't know what she was talking about but it hit me right off.

"Are you serious?" I asked. They both nodded yes.

"I'll be damned," AJ said as he figured it out.

"What?" the twins both asked at the same time.

"She's pregnant, you dummies," AJ told them.

Their eyes grew to the size of pool balls. "For real?" Cody asked and Carry nodded and smiled. This news left us all speechless and astounded. Could it be that Adrien has knocked Carry up in the few times that they have had sex? Evidently, it may be so.

"Ok, we'll be uncles just as long as we don't have to change any diapers," Cole said with a smile.

I could sense Adrien was sort of happy but confused and scared at the same time. He was happy because he had shared in making a new life, and scared and confused because none of us knew how in the hell to deliver a baby. That would be a hurdle we will conquer when we come to it.

After we had everything stowed in the cargo area, we lifted off and continued on to our destination. We did make a slight detour on our way; some of the guys wanted to see Disney World while we had the chance. I, for one, had never been there myself so we went for the hell of it. We weren't planning on landing or stopping, but just flying over to say that we had seen it before.

We neared Orlando Florida a short time later and we could see the park from a distance away. Some of the younger guys were getting excited and antsy to see the place. As we grew closer and closer the sight before us broke our hearts. One of the most beloved places a kid could ever visit was virtually destroyed.

There wasn't much left of the place. Only a few buildings were still standing and a few rides had escaped destruction. Cinderella's castle was now in ruins. The Epcot Center was a pile of shiny metal now. Zack started to cry because he thought the monsters had killed Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang.

"Oh honey, I'm sure that Mickey and Minnie and the others all got away safely," Carry said, comforting him as he cried. It did put a lump in my throat and a sore place in my heart to see this place like this.

We were about to fly past the ruins when Adam spoke up, "Hey what's that down there? Look!" We slowed the ship to a stop and looked down at the earth below us.

There in the ruins that used to be Disney World, we saw a person digging through what looked like a trash can. A few seconds later another joined him.

"Holy shit survivors!" AJ cried out.

"Should we land and see if everything is ok?" Adrien asked.

"Don't know. What do you guys think?" I asked the others.

"Of course we should," Carry said sternly.

We descended to a low level just above treetop high before we turned the cloaking shield off. When the two people on the ground saw us they freaked out. One ran away and the other dropped to his knees and dropped his head as if he was defeated and just had enough and was ready to die.

We landed about 100 feet [30 m] away and shut the engines off. Adrien opened the hatch and we all went out to this person. He didn't raise his head at all to look at us. I walked up to him and knelt down in front of him. "Are you ok?" I asked calmly.

The head slowly rose and I got a look at the person's face. I was greeted by a dirty face and the nicest blue eyes I had ever seen. "It's ok we're not gonna hurt you," I told him. At this point I couldn't tell if this was a boy or a girl. He had shoulder-length light brown hair and a cute face, you know, the features that made a cute boy or girl, only I couldn't tell through the dirt.

When I heard the voice it told me that this was a cute boy under all that grime. His voice was slight and quiet, but I could tell it was a boy's and also foreign to our country.

"Are you real? Or am I already dead or dreaming?" he asked.

"We are definitely real. Do you need help?" I said.

"I thought everyone else was dead," he said before he started to cry.

"That we can't answer, but we are definitely real and alive. Can we help you somehow?" I asked again. All he did was sniffle a bit.

"We saw you digging in the trash. Do you have any food?" Carry asked and he shook his head no. Without a word, Carry went back inside the ship, grabbed some water and some food and brought to the kid. He looked at us like we were saving angels and thanked us over and over.

"Who was the other person that was here?" I asked. "That was Tyson. He must have ran back to our hiding place," the kid said.

"Who is he? He looked older than you do," Adam said.

"He is my commanding officer. We were in a military academy in Alabama. We got to visit this place on a field trip and the space ships came and killed every one," the kid replied.

I told the kid my name and all the others and he then told us his. "I'm Maxwell Corbin. Every one calls me Max though,"

"Ok Max, we should really find your friend now. It's not safe to be out in the open like this," I suggested.

"Very well, but he's not my friend really. We're just stuck with each other," he replied. I went back inside and grabbed a pistol and stashed it in my waist of my shorts and went back out to the kid.

"Ok I'm gonna go with him and get the other dude. You guys stay here and go back in the ship. Adrien turn the cloak on just in case and we'll be back soon," I told every one.

I stood outside the ship with Max as the others went back inside and then ship then vanished before our eyes.

"Where did it go?" Max asked. "It's still there, it's just invisible now, see," I said as I tapped on the ships hull.

The two of us walked quickly to the hiding place to try to find the older kid.

"Commander Tyson sir, are you here?" Max asked as we walked into what was left of a restaurant. As I walked in, I was taken by surprise as some one grabbed me from behind in chokehold.

"Why did you bring them here private?" I heard the other kid ask as I struggled to get free.

"No sir they are here to help us!" Max pleaded.

"No private, they are the enemy in disguise. You have brought them into our barracks and now they will kill us," the other kid said.

I fought as hard as I could but I could feel the lights starting to go out as he choked me.

"No sir stop!" Max said and ran over and tried to help me get free. "He's not an alien. Stop!" Max pleaded as he tried to free me from the bigger kid's choke. I managed to grab hold of the gun I had stashed, but I was in no position to shoot the older kid. I squeezed the trigger just before I passed out, firing a shot in a random direction. The next thing I knew there was only blackness.

I woke a few minutes later with a scary jolt running through me. I was wide-eyed and super sensitive to my surroundings.

"Whoa slow down Derrik. You're ok now," AJ said as he steadied me sitting upright on the ground. I looked over and saw the older kid sitting on the floor and he looked to be tied up and gagged.

"What the hell happened?" I asked not knowing.

"Well, we were in the ship and Adrien freaked out all of a sudden and we all ran to him to see what was wrong. He told us you was in trouble so we went looking for you. Adrien led us in here and we saw that dude over there choking you from behind so we kicked his ass," AJ said.

"Thanks you guys I think you might have saved my life," I told everyone. "Shit dude don't mention it. You did it for us a bunch of times," Adam said smiling. He helped me to my feet then and it took me a minute to regain my balance.

"Man, what the fuck is wrong with you? All I was trying to do was help you," I asked the older kid, tied up.

I removed his gag and he answered me. "I am protecting our barracks from intruders and you are definitely intruders,"

"No sir they were only trying to help. They gave me some food," Max tried to say.

"Quiet private. I decide how to do stuff here," Tyson ordered.

"Dude you are fucked in the head," AJ said and I gave him the evil look for cussing again. "I'm sorry Derrik but he is. He is fucking nuts to think we are aliens and he is some kind of commando or some shit. Dude, look around you! This place sucks. You got no food or nothing here. And you're a dick for being mean to that kid," AJ told Tyson as he pointed to Max.

"I hate to say it, but I agree with his vulgarity completely," Carry said.

I had made a decision to ask Max to go with us and I'm sure the others wouldn't just leave him here with this psycho marine wannabe.

"I think I speak for all of us when I say this. Max you are welcome to come with us if you want. You don't have to stay here with him if you don't want to," I said.

"Remember who you are private. I am in command here and I say we both stay," Tyson said. Max had a defeated look on his face and just said "yes sir."

"No, fuck that! Max if you want to go with us and have food to eat instead of digging in trashcans looking for food and have people that give a shit about you, then you can come with us. You don't have to stay here and put up with his shit!" Adam said very sternly while his face started to turn red. I have only rarely seen him this upset, and upset he really was.

"Commander sir, I think I want to go with them," Max said quietly.

That made the older kid severely pissed. "Private I forbid you to go," he said with a hateful look on his face.

"Look dude, if you want to stay here in this hell hole go for it. Just because you do doesn't mean he wants to or has to," I said.

"Yeah, come on Max, get your shit and let's go," AJ said.

I could tell Max was scared of the older kid even though he was securely tied up. Tyson stood up then and AJ pointed a gun at him. He was easily six to seven inches [15-18 cm] taller than I was and outweighed me by a lot. If he wanted to he could have killed me and almost did. "This is treason," he told Max with a stare of hatred.

"Yeah, yeah just shut up. I bet you feel like a real man picking on a little kid like that don't you," AJ told him. "Ah fuck it," AJ said as he struck the kid on the side of the face with the gun but knocking him out.

"Oh no! You killed him, bubby!" Donny said starting to cry.

"No, he's alive just out cold," I said checking his pulse. "He's gonna have a head ache and be pissed when he wakes up, though. Let's untie him and get out of here," I suggested.

"Untie him? Why?" AJ asked.

"Well Adam, we can't just leave him tied up like that, can we? Even if he is an ass, we shouldn't bring ourselves down to his level," I said as I cut the rope around his wrists.

"Come on Max. It'll be ok. He can't hurt you any more," I said, leading the little guy out holding his hand. I could feel him trembling as we walked. I could sense he was truly scared out of his wits over everything that had just happened. "It's ok bud, really," I said pulling him closer and wrapping an arm over his shoulder.

We entered the ship and I could feel a sense of apprehension coming from him. "Trust me it's safe. We rebuilt this thing our selves," I reassured him. He swallowed a big gulp and stepped inside with us.

"In a little while we will be in the Bahamas and looking for a new home. I'm sorry we had to leave the Tyson guy there, but we can't have a nut like that around us. We already been through that once," I explained. "Cody, Cole why don't you guys help him get situated so we can take off," I told the twins.

They helped him get ready for takeoff as Adrien and I got into our positions and readied the ship. The ship re-cloaked and we then lifted off and began on our way to our new home.

"Umm, Derrik, if he's going with us, shouldn't we get him some clothes and stuff, too? I mean we got a lot but everyone got stuff they wanted, except for him now," Josiah suggested.

"Good idea Joe, but we can't go back up to Georgia to that Walmart," I told him.

"Ok, but there's a little land still between the ocean, and us" he replied. He did have a point and maybe we could find some stores intact to check out. "Ok good idea. We'll look on the way," I said.

While Adrien and I flew the ship and operated the systems Carry and her brothers cleaned up the kid we had just found. When they were done it was a night and day difference in his looks. "Wow there was a cute boy under all that dirt," Carry said making him smile.

"Where are you from? Your voice sounds weird," Cole asked him.

"I was born in Australia, Sydney to be exact. I moved here when my dad's job moved here a few years ago," Max explained.

"How old are you?" I asked him curiously. "I'm 10. I'll be 11 in March," he mentioned.

"In March, um what year were you born in?" I asked.

"On March 14 1997," he replied.

"Ok I'm afraid you're already 11, my friend. March was a few months ago," I said, breaking the news to him.

"Oh…," he said with a sad look. You could see the grief on his face from not even knowing what month it was and that his birthday had already passed.

He was a small kid for 11. He was actually no bigger than Donny who was a few years younger. He was definitely cute, though. The dirt and grime were hiding those good looks and now he was bonerific. In other words, he would make you hard in a second to see his cuteness. His clothes were tattered and dirty just like his body and he did have a slight smell, but that was expected, all considering. He did have a very cute smile, though, and what looked like to be a knockout little body, too.

"Concentrate on the ship," I heard Adrien think to me as I noticed my thoughts straying to Max and noticed I had popped a boner.

"Sorry, I couldn't help it. He's a cutie," I thought back to Adrien. I diverted my attention to the search for a store to stop at to find Max some clothes and other stuff to have. We came upon a severely damaged mini strip mall and saw a half intact sporting-goods store.

"Hey Adrien, let's try that place. There's bound to be some clothes still left in there. We may even find some stuff for our new home," I suggested.

The ship descended once again and we touched down to the earth.

"OK. Everyone stay on the ship this time. I'm taking Max in with me to see if we can find him some clothes in the sporting-goods store. If we find other stuff in there we can use, and it's safe I'll send Adrien a message," I told the group.

I grabbed a gun once again and started to lead Max out and AJ told me "Have fun," and he winked his eye. Evidently he thought I was going in to see if I could work Max out of his clothes. Actually that is exactly what I was going to do, just not for the reason AJ was thinking. I wanted to get the nasty ones off so we can get nice ones on.

I entered the building with the gun ready as usual and Max followed right behind right on my heels almost. "Let's check the place out first before we start shopping," I told him. It took us a few minutes but the place checked out ok. We walked around just looking for a few minutes to find some things he liked. I grabbed an overturned cart lying on its side and we began to fill it up.

The place was a jackpot for outdoor wear and items. I knew once we had Max some clothes and things I would have to get the others to come in and gather up some things to take with us.

Max collected a lot of nice clothes, but he was lacking one thing only because I don't think he was thinking about it. "Um Max aren't you going to get any underwear? I mean you don't have to, but well you know…," I told him.

"Oh yes. I forgot all about it thanks," he replied.

We went to the boys department and they didn't seem to have normal underwear. All they had was the supportive athletic types. Not very comfy to just wear casually. "Well kiddo, I don't think we're gonna have any luck finding them here. If we see another store we will try there," I told him and he smiled.

"Thank you for being so nice to me. No one is ever this nice to me," he said losing that smile.

"Why's that?" I inquired.

"My mom died when I was little so it's just been me and my dad for a long time now and he's always busy so I hardly ever see him. He sent me to that military academy so he wouldn't have to worry about me all the time."

"I hated it there. Every one was always so mean to me, there. Commander Tyson was one of the highest-ranking superiors at the academy. He was always mean to me. He used to always make me do the worst punishments when I did something wrong," he went on to explain.

"Well dude, you don't gotta worry about that any more. No more punishments or being treated bad. Now you got a lot of new brothers and an older sister to take care of you. I think you'll be happy once you get to know all of us better," I told him making him smile again.

"Come on, let's get your stuff out to the ship so I can tell the others about all this good stuff in here. I'm sure the swimming floats and rafts will be going with us once they see them," I told him.

We walked back outside and the ship appeared before us once more and the hatch opened up.

"Hey, everyone. This place has a lot of stuff. You guys go in and get what you want and let's get going again," I told the others.

They all seemed to fly out of the ship and into the store to see what goodies they could find.

Once Max and I were alone in the ship, I suggested he change clothes into some new ones and out of the nasty rags he was wearing and get cleaned up. It appeared he didn't have much modesty about me seeing him naked at all, because he stripped right down and stood before me naked.

I couldn't help but admire his body. Perfectly shaped and proportioned with a nice smooth hairless shaft dangling above marble sized balls. He didn't seem to notice me staring at him with a boner tenting my shorts as he picked out some clothes to wear.

"Oh yeah, all the time. We see her, too. It's no big deal," I told him.

The guys had brought in a few more cartloads of stuff from this store as well. They got snorkeling stuff, swimming floats and tubes and beach balls and all sorts of other good stuff to have fun with. Chapter 25

"Wow! I never seen the ocean before," Chris said with his eyes glued to the view screen. It was a sight that I had come to regard as a welcome home sign as we made our way to the islands. At the speed we were currently going we should see the islands in a few hours or so. In the mean time we all just watched quietly as the ocean passed us by.

"Look I see the islands!" AJ pointed out some time later.

"Yep sure is," I responded. We slowed our speed and made a pass over the area looking for any signs of life. The island looked relatively deserted; not that there weren't any people there, more like there never had been any people there.

"Guys, I think this is one of the smaller islands. It looks like no one has ever lived here," I told them. We flew on checking out the area and it was the same for the first few islands we checked. On the fourth one we did find some houses and signs of civilization.

From what we could tell the place looked like the monsters hadn't been here. The buildings were intact and still standing. We came across a small town and the buildings there were the same as the houses we saw.

"Oh my gosh do you think there might be people down there?" Josiah asked.

"That answer your question?" AJ asked, pointing at the screen. There was a woman carrying a basket on the streets below and she looked like she didn't have a worry in the world.

"Wow survivors!" Carry said.

"Maybe, but I don't think we should just turn the cloaking shield off and land just yet. Let's find a place to stay first then we'll come back here and check the place out," I suggested.

"That is a reasonable plan. He is right; we should find a refuge before we reveal our existence here," Adrien said.

Now that we knew there were people alive here, we continued on checking for a place to call our own. We checked several of the smaller islands and a few of the larger ones until we found one that might suite our needs. It wasn't very big, but it was just big enough.

"Wow guys! This one looks like it might be a good one to set up on," I said as we flew overhead. We came upon a sheer cliff wall and then went past it and looked.

"Wow look at that!" Donny said. It was a house built into the side of the cliff face. Not just a house, but a very, very expensive one.

"I bet this is one of those private islands that some rich guy owns or something," AJ said.

"Maybe, Adrien what does the ship say about the place?" I asked.

Adrien used the ship to scan the house and cliff side. "The house extends into the cliff side quite far. I cannot scan through what we can see right now," he said.

"Well that's good isn't it? I mean if we can't scan into it that means the monsters can't either can they?" Chris said. I looked at Adrien to ask if he was right.

"He is right. If we can't see into the cliff, they shouldn't be able to either," Adrien replied.

"Cool! Let's land this bitch and check it out," AJ said anxiously.

The ship settled near the house but with the cloaking shield still on. AJ, Chris, and I left the ship with a gun each and checked the house out. The front door was locked so we had to break a small window out next to the door to gain access.

"Wow this place is… NICE!" AJ pointed out admiring the expense it took to build this place. If the rest of the place was as nice as the entry way then this was a palace. We went room by room checking for life or monsters.

The house was indeed extensive. It did go deep into the cliff face hiding its true size from being seen from outside. "Man this place is huge!" Chris admired. It had a huge kitchen very large gathering room and big living room with a monster TV in it and several bedrooms and there was much, much more to it.

"Ok guys, I think we can call everyone else in. I think it's safe," I told the others. We went back to the front door to the house and I waved to the others that it was ok.

"It's ok Adrien you can all come inside now," I told him through my thoughts.

The ship then became visible to us and the others came out one by one into the blinding sun.

"Holy crap it's hot!" Justin said, holding his hand up to the sun to keep it from his eyes.

"What do you expect? It's the tropics. It's like this all the time," Josiah pointed out.

The others filed into the entryway of the house one by one and marveled at the luxuriousness of it.

"WOW!" Carry said, liking what she saw.

"Ok everyone, we checked most of the place out, but we haven't gone all the way through it yet. So be careful. I don't think anyone or thing is here but still…," I told them. We set out as a group checking the house more thoroughly this time.

In the lower levels there was a huge home office, exercise area with all kinds of weights and machines, a large storage area, a very large and well-stocked food pantry and a wine cellar that was refrigerated. But the best part was the recreation area, which made the younger boys' eyes light up with excitement.

"Cool! Air hockey!" Zack yelled running to the air hockey table.

"Well what do you guys think? Can we live here?" I asked, being sarcastic. "YES!" most of them screamed at the same time.

We continued on to the upper levels of the house checking further. There were a few very nicely decorated bedrooms and a few modestly decorated ones all with large beds. We came upon what had to be the master bedroom. It had a view overlooking the ocean and beach, a huge bed, and even had a hot tub built into an area by a huge window looking at the ocean.

"This is mine. You guys can fight over the other rooms but this one is mine," I pointed out, making my alpha male status known. If I had to do everything for everyone else I think I at least deserved this room for myself.

No one seemed to argue with me and they all went off to find sleeping areas for themselves. There weren't enough rooms for everyone to have their own, so everyone but me would have to share with someone else.

The twins, naturally, took a room together. Adrien and Carry got their own. Zack and Justin took one together. Chris and Josiah got one. AJ and Donny had one, and Phillip and Nathan shared one. That left me with the master bedroom and our newest friend, Max, with the only single bedroom in the house. From what I could guess it must have been the maid's room or something like that, but Max didn't seem to mind.

Since we had everyone's sleeping arrangements made, I decided to have a chat with Max to get to know some stuff about him. I could just read his mind but I prefer to hear it from him. "Hey bud you and the others getting along ok?" I asked.

"Yeah every one is nice to me. It's just, I know I'm like an outsider and all but I really hope I fit in with you guys," he answered.

"Ah don't worry about it dude just be yourself and you'll be fine. Now there are a few things you should know about us before you make up your mind to want to stay with us," I warned him.

"Ok like, what are you guys in a cult or something?" he asked being sarcastic.

"Ok first clothes are kind of optional with us. We have all seen each other naked before and it doesn't bother us to be naked all the time. So I guess what I'm trying to say is be prepared to see a lot of skin around here," I told him.

I left to find the hybrid wonder and see what our power situation was like in the basement utility room. "Ok what kind of shape are we in, utility wise?" I asked Adrien.

"Actually we are in excellent shape. The house is almost completely self-sustaining since it is on an island like this. There are tanks set up to collect and filter rain water so we will have fresh water. As for the electricity, I caught a break this time. I don't have to build more solar panels. The house has them set up on top of the hill above the home. All I have to do is throw this switch and the house has power again," he said pointing to the big switch on the breaker box.

He flipped the switch and the house came to life. Lights came on all over, the refrigerators and freezers kicked on, the air conditioning came on, and so on. "All I need to do now, is set up the security system, the cloaking shield to hide the house and ship, and set up the control center," Adrien said.

"Ok sounds like fun…," I said, being sarcastic.

"I'm afraid we are going to need more supplies. We just don't have enough to complete the systems that we will need," Adrien told me.

"Ok. Well, we'll go and get more stuff when we get a chance. I think we will be ok for tonight. We'll go tomorrow. That sound ok?" I asked.

"I think so," he replied. Now that was settled, we went back up to meet the others.

I ran across Max carrying some fresh clothes to the big master bathroom to get cleaned up. "Hey hope you don't mind me joining you in the bathroom for a minute. I need to check some stuff out to see it is working ok," I said to him.

"No it's fine. I used to have to shower with the other guys at the academy in a big shower room," he replied. We walked in together and he set his clothes on the big counter by the sink while I turned the faucet to the sink and tub on to get some water flowing. I turned the hot water on and at first it was ice cold, but in a few minutes it became scolding hot.

"Damn! We must have one hell of a hot water heater," I said, shaking the hot water off my hand. "Looks like you can take a hot bath if you want to. I wish I could, but I got way too much to do right now," I told him.

"Well how about we check out the rest of the place together?" I suggested.

"Ok, as along as I don't have to go out in the sun again," He said. We went out the front door and then turned right to go to the deck attached to the front of the house. "Hours ago," she replied.

"Well it's almost sundown. We need to find his stubborn ass," I said. "You sense him Adrien?" I asked. He shook no. I didn't sense him either and it was beginning to worry me.

"Guys, we need to find him. I can't sense his thoughts and neither can Adrien. Something might be wrong," I said.

"I got an idea!" Donny said before running into the house. He came out a minute later carrying one of AJ's shirts and with Lucky walking next to him. "Come on Lucky, I need you to find my bubby," Donny said as he put the shirt down for Lucky to sniff. The dog took a few whiffs of the shirt and slowly began to walk down the beach sniffing at the ground. "Come on guys follow Lucky!" Donny said.

The dog led us to the trees and then further into the brush and overgrowth and then stopped. Lucky let out a few small woofs and sat down.

"Lucky said he lost the scent," Donny said.

"Spread out every one and look for anything weird," I said.

We spread out looking for any sign of him while Donny stayed with the dog where he sat down. Donny felt a drip fall on his head so he wiped it off and checked his hand. He got scared to see it was blood and looked up. "BUBBY!!" Donny screamed in fear making us run as fast as we could to him.

"What?!" I asked out of breath. He said nothing and had a look of cold fear on his face and was staring upward. I looked up and my heart sank. "Oh god no!" I said. There hanging above us was Adam dangling by his ankle from a rope with his face covered in blood and blood running down his leg from his ankle.

He was unconscious.

"Fucking help me get him down!" I yelled to the others.

Phil found a rope that was tied to a tree nearby and ran up over a branch to AJ's leg. "Get ready to catch him. I found the rope holding him up," Phil said as he untied the knot.

Adam fell into our arms as he lowered him to the ground. "Is my bubby dead?" Donny begged hysterically. I felt his neck and he still had a pulse.

"He's alive! Let's get him home!" I said, scared.

Joey and I picked him up and ran with him in our arms as fast as possible to the house. "Wow, dude, his skin is hot!" Josiah said.

"I know he's sunburned really bad," I replied. We ran him up to his room as fast as we could and laid his limp body down. Carry ran to get some wet towels to clean the blood off of him. Donny was hysterical and crying, scared that his brother was going to die.

"Someone take him out to the living room while we work on him," I told the others referring to Donny. Adrien and Phillip had to force Donny from the room so that Carry and I could tend to him.

"My gosh he is cooked," Carry observed. We wiped the blood from his face to discover a gash on his right temple that the blood was coming from. We cleaned it as best we could and but a bandage over it. Then we cleaned the blood off of him that had run up his leg from his ankle. He had hung there so long the blood had run from his ankle all the way up his leg to his ball sack and had dried in the sun.

"Damn he is going to be in serious pain when he wakes up," I said. We cleaned the deep cut to his ankle and wrapped it in sterilized bandages after washing it with alcohol. What I still wanted to know was how he ended up there to begin with.

Someone had to plant that snare there that he stepped in. For now, I think it will be best for everyone to stay in the house until we find out how that trap got there.

Once AJ's major wounds were addressed, Carry and I covered his body with a whole bottle of lotion hoping it would help with the severe sunburn he had gotten. We put an extra amount on those tender areas that don't usually see that much sun, you know like the dick and balls. It took us nearly an hour to take care of his wounds and such before we let Donny visit his brother again.

"See buddy he's going to be ok. He's just sleeping right now," I told Donny not knowing if I was lying or not. I was hoping he was only sleeping and not in a coma or something.

The rest of the evening and night went by with all of us taking turns staying at AJ's bedside to make sure nothing else happened. I made Donny sleep in my room for the time being while I sat with his brother for a while. I must have dozed off because Phillip shook me awake sometime around midnight and took over the watch.

I went to my room and got in bed with Donny who was still wide awake and worried about his brother. "Is my bubby going to be ok?" the little guy asked me.

"I'm not sure bud. He's hurt pretty bad and he has a real bad sunburn so he is going to be hurting when he wakes up," I explained.

"I guess I shouldn't be sleeping with him till he's well then, should I?" he asked.

"No buddy I don't think you should. He is going to need some space when he wakes up. It might hurt if you was to bump against him in your sleep," I said.

"Well, where am I supposed to sleep then?" Donny asked.

"Right where you are now. You can sleep with me till Adam gets well," I said rubbing Donny's silky smooth back to comfort him.

"K" was all he said before laying his head on the pillow. Before I knew it, his breathing became slower and shallower and I knew he was asleep. I snuggled up to the little guy's back and draped my arm over him and he scotched back against me and started snoozing normally again. Apparently he was used to him and AJ sleeping like that. I kissed the little guy on the top of his head and laid my head down and nodded off myself.

The next morning came way too quickly. I felt like I had just laid down when the sun shined in my eyes and woke me up. I opened my eyes and saw that Donny was lying half on top of me with his little cock grinding into my side. I slid away from him gently so not to wake him and went straight to the bathroom to relieve myself.

I then went to AJ's room to check on him and Carry was there sitting next to his bed with him. "Any thing changed?" I asked.

"Not yet," She answered.

"I'll watch him for a while if you want to go," I told her.

She got up and left and I took her place next to the bed. I felt his skin and it still had some heat coming from it due to the sunburn, so I go the lotion and squirted a big gob in my hand. I rubbed it all over his body again, applying a bit more to his goodies to help with the pain he would have. It seemed there was a bit of life still in him. I let go of his balls and waited to see if he was going to wake up.

"Adam can you hear me?" I asked, gently. He began to stir a little more and groaned a little. "AJ it's me Derrik can you hear me?" I asked again. He opened his eyes and I could see he that he was coming around and the pain was already setting in.

He didn't say a word and only started to cry quietly from the pain. He wasn't sobbing heavily and was trying to hold it back so as not to show he was hurting.

"It's ok Adam. Let it go! I know you are in a bad way right now." He began to whimper a little then, signaling he was hurting badly. "Do you hear me?" I asked again and he nodded yes.

"Derrik I can't see anything what's wrong with me?" he asked. This was something totally unexpected.

"I… I don't know AJ. I didn't know your eyes were hurt or anything. You did hit your head on something but I'm not sure why you can't see," I told him.

"Oh god no," he said and began to cry openly. "God it hurts!" he whined.

Carry came running into the room then when she heard him. "Great he's awake!" she said happy. Her happy mood turn sour quickly when she saw the look I gave her.

"What's wrong?" she whispered to me. "He says he can't see," I whispered back. "Oh god. Should I get Adrien?" she asked. "Um… I guess maybe he can help somehow," I told her.

She ran out of the room and a minute later reappeared with Adrien at her side rubbing his eyes.

"Good! He is awake," he said.

"Yeah but in a lot of pain and… he is blind," I told Adrien.

Adrien walked over to him and took his hand in his own. The hybrid closed his eyes and shuddered a bit.

"What's he doing?" Carry asked. "Helping," I told her.

I wasn't sure what he was doing but I knew he was helping whatever he was doing. The weirdest thing happened then, Adrien began to glow slightly. A minute later he nearly collapsed on the floor falling to one knee and began to breathe heavily. "His eyes will be ok soon now," Adrien said laboring to breathe.

"We'll be back AJ. Carry, help me get him to your room," I said referring to Adrien. We helped him stumble to their room and laid him in the bed. Carry went back to AJ and I sat with Adrien for a minute.

"I can no longer do that anymore. If I do, it will be the end of me," he said grabbing my arm. He was talking about healing us from our injuries. Every time he did it took a piece of him that he could not get back. He was telling me if he did it again, he would die in the process.

"It's ok dude. You just rest now. You helped him; that's all that counts. I'm sure he will be thrilled to be able to see again," I told him.

"His eyes were scorched by the sun. That is what caused his blindness. Tell him I hope he feels better soon," Adrien said as he laid his head on the pillow.

"I'll tell him, you just rest now," I told him as I patted him on his chest.

I went then back to Adam to see how he was. He was still whimpering a bit fro the pain and, for the time being, he was still blind. "Adrien said your eyes will be ok soon. They got burned by the sun really bad," I told him stroking his silky hair comforting him.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him to say something. "My dick burns so fucking bad. What happened to me?" he asked very quietly in my ear.

"Well bud, I'm not totally sure of that, but we found you hanging in a tree by your ankle and you were knocked out cold. You got a bad wound on your ankle from hanging by a rope for so long and you also got a good-sized cut on your temple. I don't know how you got it, but you do…," I tried to explain.

"And I think the worst thing of all, beside you being blind, is you have sun burn like a mofo. I mean you are cooked!" I added.

"I don't remember any of it. All I remember was walking in the trees and being all mad and shit and next thing I knew I felt like I was falling. Then I woke up and heard your voice," he replied.

"Well, I can read thoughts, but I can't read memories so maybe Adrien can help with that when he gets some rest. It took a lot out of him to help your eyes heal," I told him. "You feel ok enough to see your baby bro? He's worried to death about you," I asked him.

"Sure," he said wiping the tears from his eyes.

I went back to my room to get Donny and he was still asleep, lying on his back with his little rod sticking straight up and hard as a rock. I decided to wake him up the fun ways so I stuck his dick in my mouth and began to tickle his ribs at the same time. He began to wiggle and writhe in laughter as he woke up.

"What was that for?" he asked still smiling and rubbing his eyes. I let his pecker slide out of my mouth and told him AJ was awake now. His eyes got really big and he flew out of bed and ran to his room to see his brother.

"Bubby you're alive!" Donny cheered. His cheerful mood changed really quickly when he saw the tear roll from AJ's eye and down his cheek. "You ok bubby?" Donny asked in concern.

"Yeah squirt I'll be ok. I just hurt really bad right now," AJ explained.

I took Donny aside and explained about AJ's eyes. "Don he cant see right now. His eyes got burned by the sun so they have to heal so he can see again," I told him.

Donny went back to his brother and took hold of his hand. "I love you bubby," Donny told him. AJ just smiled and looked in Donny's general direction.

"Come on Donny boy let him rest now," Carry said taking Donny by the hand and leading him out of the room.

"Let's check your wounds," I told AJ. I gently took the bandage off his head and it seemed to stop bleeding. "Hmm… I think it's gonna heal ok, but you're probly gonna have a scar from this one," I told him.

"Scars are cool," he said with a fake smile. I put some fresh bandages on his head and then went to his ankle. As I got the last few wraps off his leg I could tell he was in discomfort. When I got the bandage off and air hit his wound he showed his pain.

"Son Of A Bitch! That Hurts!" he stressed telling how bad he felt. The rope did cut into his leg deeply but I think he will be fine.

"I'll get you some medicine for this in a little bit. I'll get you one of those pain pills to so it won't hurt as much," I promised him.

"Ok can I have a blow job, too?" he asked trying to break the tension of the situation.

"Soon, my friend, soon. I promise as soon as your sunburn is healed up," I told him chuckling.

"Cool!" he said, trying not to show how bad he was hurting.

I rewrapped his ankle gently and then whispered in his ear, "When that burn is healed we're gonna have a lot of fun. We need to finish what we tried to do in the gazebo," I told him.

"Deal," he said with a smile. I gave him a quick kiss on his lips before leaving to get him the medicine. I checked on Adrien and he was now soundly sleeping from being drained from helping AJ. I fetched the pain meds from the bathroom for AJ and took them back to him. I poured out a single pill and handed it to him.

"Ah man only one? It hurts like hell," he whined. "Yes, only one. We don't want you getting hooked on those, crack head," I said jokingly making him smile slightly. He swallowed the pill and within 15 or so minutes his eyes got droopy and he soon fell asleep.

Now that he, too, was resting I went to check on the other boys. Donny, the twins, and Nathan were playing the PS3 so I told them to keep the noise down. Carry was taking a bath, Zack and Justin were in their room playing a board game, Phil was in his room just relaxing reading a book, and Max was sitting on the front step of the outside porch in the front of the house.

"Hey how you doing?" I asked, sitting down next to him.

"Ok I guess. How is Adam?" he asked.

"He'll live. He's gonna be in a little pain for a while but he'll be ok eventually," I replied. "That sucks. If only that fight hadn't happened, none of this probably would have happened," he said.

"Yeah tell me about it. He definitely has a hot head sometimes," I told him.

"Well, it wasn't just him. The twins were kind of the same way. And even his little brother was being rude," he told me. I had him explain to me what went on while Adrien and I were gone and it shocked me that the guys fought like that.

"Damn! I can't believe they would fight over something so stupid," I told him.

It was all water under the bridge now that everyone had apologized to each other and the tempers had settled down. Max and I just sat on the stoop looking out over the ocean and just reflecting over all the drama. It was damn hot out right now and I could see it on Max's body. He was sweating a bit, but I was sweating like a pig right now.

I slid my shirt off and wiped my head with it. "Damn it's scorching out here. You want to go check out a bit of the island with me? No one else seems interested," I asked him.

"Sure!" he chimed.

"Ok lets go inside and strip these sweaty ass clothes off and put some shoes on then," I suggested.

We both went to one of the bathrooms and stripped down and put our shoes on. "Oh I almost forgot we need some sunblock. We don't want to happen to us what did to AJ," I said smiling. Max made a face to say OUCH. And I began to rub sun block all over my body, putting a little more on my bare dick and balls. I handed the bottle to Max and he did the same, only his dick got rock hard from the attention which embarrassed him a bit.

"Come on lets go explore," I said laughing about his little boner. We got out to the gazebo and he thought it was neat. "This is as far as I got the other day with AJ when we had to stop," I told him.

This time, the two of us trekked on through the brush and trees on a cleared path that had been made by the previous owners. We came upon a man-made pond with a small waterfall feeding it. "Wow that's pretty cool," he said, admiring it. "Yeah an outside bath tub," I said, making a joke. He couldn't help but laugh.

We went on and soon we were on the beach again. This one was a bit smaller than the one in front of the house and the waves crashing against it were more violent. "Wow! I think we need to make this place off limits to the younger guys. It looks a little to dangerous to swim," I said.

Again we walked on the path, this time up the hill some and we came upon the service area for the house. It was a small building with pipes coming out of the side of it. I opened the door and there were two big tanks inside and a lot of other gear.

"What is all this stuff?" Max asked. "Um I'm not sure but I think this is where our water is stored and cleaned. This must be like a utility building or some shit," I said.

I checked the water level in the tanks and they were close to full. Someone had spent a shit load of money to convert this island into a nice place to live.

We left the building and continued on the path up to the summit of the hill where we found the source of our electricity. There were a bunch of big solar panels set up near the top of the hill that supplies our power needs. "This would be a great place to set up some security stuff like cameras and stuff," I pointed out.

"Yeah. The Internet thing Adrien is going to build would be great here, too," Max said.

"Damn good point," I told him as I poked at his ribs making him giggle. The two of us sat down on the top of the hill and just looked out over the vast expanse of ocean that surrounds us on all sides. We could see off in the far distance the nearest island to us, but it was several miles away.

"Guess we're pretty isolated here, aren't we?" Max asked.

"Yep, looks that way. Come on let's check out the rest and get home before it gets too dark to see," I suggested wiping the sweat off my fore head.

We continued down the hill and came upon another beach with a building built right over top the water with a dock leading out to it. "What the hell is that?" I wondered.

"I know what it is. Come on!" Max said, as he trotted away from me. I ran after him and caught up to him as he began to slow to a jog. "Ok what is it?" I asked.

"It's a boat house. Let's see if there are some boats in there," he said. We walked inside and, sure enough, there was a big-ass boat suspended from the rafters of the building out of the water.

"Wow! I bet that thing cost a shit load of money," I said. marveling at the expensive speedboat. If it was as fast as it looked expensive, it should haul some major ass on the water. "Well now we got a way to get around the islands besides using the space ship," I said.

Max walked around to the other side of the boat and cheered, "YES! I knew it!" I walked around and there hanging on the other side of the boat were a pair of skeedoos. "I used to have one of theses in Australia before we moved here. I hated giving it up," he cheered.

"Man, these people spared no expense on this place, did they? Let's check around and see what other goodies are on the island," I told him.

The two of us walked on for a while and there wasn't really anything else to see except for a helicopter landing pad on the cliff top right above the house. It had a spiral stairway that wandered down to the level of the house. We used that stairway to get back down to the front of our home just as the sun was beginning to get low in the sky. "Well that was fun," I said being sarcastic.

"Sure was. Now we know where everything on the island is," Max pointed out.

"Well let's go in and get cleaned up. We're both covered in sweat and dirt now. You wanna join me for another hot tub bath?" I asked him.

"Ok I guess. Just because I said yes, does that mean we have to do stuff?" he asked. "No dude. I was thinking about just a bath, but if you want to do something then, yeah, we can. I saw how boned you got earlier from putting the sun block on," I said winking at him.

"I can't help it, it happens," he said making a point. The two of us were heading to my room to get cleaned up when we were stopped by Carry.

"Adam is awake now," She said. "Damn! Maybe I should have given him two pills. He probably would have slept longer," I replied. I told Max to go ahead and start the tub and I would join him shortly.

"How ya doing lobster boy?" I asked AJ, as I walked in his room. He didn't say anything but smiled and flipped me off. "Ok I deserve that. How you feeling now?" I said laughing.

"A little better. I think I need some more lotion put on it's starting to sting a little," he said. I got the bottle and squirted a handful in my hand and began to work it into his skin gently. I could see the discomfort in his face from me touching his skin. "How are your eyes doing now? Can you see anything yet?" I asked him.

"Not really. Whenever I open them, they burn and hurt so I just keep them shut," he replied.

"I know that feeling, dude. I got flash burn on my eyes one time from watching my dad weld some metal. Oh my god it hurt. I couldn't see for three days. Do you know how hard it is to pee when you can't see?" I said making a joke.

"Um… speaking of, I need to pee, dude," he said.

"Oh… ok um…," I said thinking of what to do. "Well, dude, I can help you to the bathroom if you want to try that or I can get a big cup or something if you want to turn on your side and pee," I suggested.

"I think I can try the bathroom, if you'll help me," he said.

I helped him up slowly until he was in a sitting position. "You ready?" I asked. He nodded and I grabbed his hand and helped him to his feet. He tried to stand on his own and almost fell from the injury to his ankle. "Can you hop on the good foot and I'll help you with the other side," I told him.

He hobbled to the bathroom, limping on one leg, with me holding him up on the other side so he didn't fall. I guided him into position in front of the toilet and made sure he could stand on his own. "You ok to stand now?" I asked.

"Yeah but I can't aim you'll have to for me," he replied with a bit of pain in his voice.

I stepped up behind him. took hold of his limp dick, pointed his pecker at the toilet and told him to go for it. He let out a stream of warm piss and it landed right on target. He pissed for a long time, longer than I expected. "Dam dude, how much did you drink?" I said laughing.

The stream soon became a drip and I shook his dick making the last few drops fall out. "You keep that up and I might get hard," he said. So I kept on wiggling his tender, burned dick. I wanted to stroke it but I knew it would cause more pain than pleasure. I got him to the point he was boned and stopped. "Ok let's get you back to bed so I can check the bandages," I said. I helped him hobble down the hall with his dick pointing straight ahead, back to his bed.

Once he was back in bed I checked his head which was now bruised a bit around his wound and then his ankle. It was definitely bruised very badly around his foot and leg where the rope had cut into his flesh. The wound itself still looked bad, but it was healing. I heard him inhale sharply and squint his eyes lightly as I took the bandage off his leg. I knew the air hitting the open wound hurt like hell. "Sorry Adam but I have to check it," I apologized.

"I know," he grunted with a tear rolling from the corner of his tightly closed eye.

I rewrapped his leg and then his brother checked in on him. "Hi bubby," Donny said quietly. AJ raised his hand for Donny and he took hold of it.

"Hey little dude," AJ said, still in pain.

I gave him a few more of the pain pills and, like before, he passed out, this time hopefully all night. "Come on Don you're still crashing with me. His skin is still hurting and he needs his rest," I told his little bro.

I led Donny to my room where Max was already in the hot tub, enjoying the warm water jets on his body.

The rest of the evening went pretty quickly. The three of us finished our baths without really doing anything FUN. We had a light snack for dinner, nothing fancy, and then just relaxed watching DVD's in the living room.

Donny fell asleep about half way through the movie and Max was starting to yawn. "I'm calling it a night. See you tomorrow," Max said, yawning again as he got up and went to bed.

I turned the movie off and picked Donny up off the big comfy couch. He was beginning to get heavy since he has grown a little. I did my best to carry him to my room and put him to bed. He didn't really wake up the whole time I was carrying him, but he was aware of it. When he felt the bed under him he snuggled into a ball and began to snooze comfortably.

I lay down next to him and again he snuggled up to me and began to snore. I lightly brushed his hair and rubbed his chest as I got comfy. It wasn't long after that I was asleep myself.

The sleep I was having wouldn't last long, though. Donny began to toss and turn violently about three AM and began to cry in his sleep. "Donny! Wake up bud, you're having a nightmare," I said to him, as I tried to shake him awake.

It took me a few minutes to wake him and he looked disoriented and acted like he didn't know what was going on when he woke up. "Shh. Dude! You're ok. It's me, Derrik. You're ok now it was just a dream," I told him. trying to jog his senses to normal.

Once he realized he was ok and where he was, he started to cry. I comforted him as he cried about the fear he had just had. It took a while but he eventually calmed down enough to tell me what the dream was about, or as much of it that he could remember.

"I was running and those monsters almost got me but my bubby saved me and then… then…," he started to say. "They got my bubby and killed him," he said, and began to whimper.

"It's ok buddy. Your brother is ok. He's safe in your guys' bed, and you're safe, too. We won't let those things get you, I swear," I told him, hugging the little guy and calming him down. It took a while but he eventually fell back asleep and the rest of the night he slept soundly.

I tried my best to sleep after he had his bad dream, but I didn't get much good rest after that. I tossed and turned the rest of the night and just couldn't get comfortable. The next day was going to be a tough one for me in more ways than one.
