Tiffany's Diaper Tales Volume II By BabyInDiapers Written 03/28/2007 Chapter 068 The past week hanging out with friends was nearing an end. It was only a day away. Mommy helped me pack some clothes, and other things I would need. She also was packing her things as well since she would be accompanying us on the tour for six weeks. That night Teala drove over from Orlando. She had gotten the position in Orlando just last week. Even though work was hectic for her, she made time to come to see mommy and me before we headed out. She spent the night with me in my room and got up early the next day to go back to work. Mommy, daddy, Tammy, Mandi, and I had breakfast. Aunt Kathy and Kevin came over to see us before we had to leave. Around noon we drove to Orlando to hook up with our tour bus. Tammy was along with us. Laura's mom was watching Mandi for her. As we were getting out of the car and unloading things I held onto Tammy and cried. "I'm gonna miss you." I said while she wiped my tears away. "I'll miss you to baby." She said while she had a couple tears falling from her eyes. We loaded up the tour bus. Laura and her dad arrived a few minutes later. Finally, after about a half hour, David and Robert arrived with their parents. We all had a prayer before us kids and mommy got on the bus. I hugged Tammy and then daddy. "I'm so proud of you Tiffany." Dad said as he also was getting a bit teary eyed. Robert and David got on the bus. Laura was holding onto her mommy crying. I went over to her. I gave Laura's mom and dad and little brother a hug. Then I hugged Laura. "Come on baby, this is the start of an awesome journey." I said excitedly. She nodded and I wiped her tears from her eyes. Laura and I stood on the steps and said our last goodbyes. The driver started the engine. We sat up in the front sets of seats for a while. We had all our junk in the back. Mom was back there unpacking Laura's and my clothes. About an hour later Laura and I walked back into the living quarters area of the tour bus. "Hi girls." Mom said as she was still hustling about the room putting everything in its own place. On the double bed where Laura and I would be sleeping, there was still a suitcase sitting there, as well as Mr. Fluffy, and Laura's favorite animal, her beloved lammy-pie. It was this silly little stuffed lamb. It had been her favorite since she was a baby. Mom's bed was a single bed across the other side of the hall. Robert and David also had two small beds in there room. There suitcases were still unpacked. Laura and I laid on our bed after mom moved the suitcase into this one area that was like a storage closet. She went back out to the front to sit with David and Robert. Laura and I cuddled up and breastfed each other. We fell asleep until dinner time. Our diapers were sopping wet. Mommy came in and changed us. "We're in Miami sweetie." She said to me while changing me. Our first concert would be in 3 hours. We got dressed up in our band uniforms that we had chosen only a month earlier. They had come in just last week. We stopped to grab some McDonalds and ate it on the way to the arena. Our first tour stop was Miami Florida. By 6PM that evening we were on the stage setting up. By 6:30 we were doing sound check. We then went back stage to hang out until 8PM. Around 7:45 Mommy changed Laura and I again. "Are you guys nervous?" mom asked. "A little." Robert replied. David was totally in the zone and didn't' seemed to be nervous at all. We held hands and began to pray. We each took turns just praising God, thanking Him for this opportunity to reach out to people through our music and to share the Gospel with people. With less than 5 minutes to go I gave Robert a big hug and a kiss on his cheek. "Go knock 'em dead mom said as the announcer was giving an introduction. We walked out on stage. Robert and David waving to everyone. Laura and I also waved. I put Laura at her Keyboard. I picked up my guitar. "Hello MIAMI!!!" I said into the microphone as the audience broke out into an excited roar. I looked at David then at Robert. David clicked his sticks 4 times and we hit our most rocking song head on. In one way the time was slow because every measure to the next I was concentrating. The first song ended and we kicked into another fast paced song. By this point I was getting used to it. I wasn't as nervous and as uptight. I began to put my heart into it. I had experienced this on some level before at other concerts, but this was a huge arena and from what I could see, it was packed full! At the end of the second song I introduced the band members each of them doing a solo for a few seconds. The crowd was loving us. We hit our third fast song. This was one where David had a drum solo. He nailed that solo like it was nothing. The crowd was just ecstatic! I began to feel even more adrenalin coursing through me as my solo was up in the next song. I had played some lead parts in passing while alternating with chords but this next one was me on solo guitar, Laura on the piano accompanying me. Then a few measures into the song The drums and base joined in. The next song after that was a bit slower. I began to sing my heart out and I felt God's presence. Before the adrenalin and nervousness was so much that I just couldn't feel anything. But now we were in His presence. After that song I began to pray as the song faded out. Then Laura began to play our must moving song. It was the song we had written for Emily. More than a year had gone by and I still could not get through this song without becoming emotional. We then picked up the pace a bit and played about 4 more songs. Then again we slowed back down for our final three. I began to share Jesus with them and asked anyone who wanted to receive Him to pray with me. I set my guitar down and Robert set his base down. David and Laura kept some music going. Robert and I were at the front of the stage. There were some security people around us to make sure nothing got out of hand. The response was amazing. Laura announced that if there were any other pastors or people who wanted to come down and pray, to make there way forward as well. About 30 minutes went by. Then Robert and I got back on stage. "Isn't this awesome!" I said and the crowd cheered. "God is so amazing. His love is unchanging. Let's hear a praise for all those who accepted Jesus tonight." "Maybe you didn't know this, but Florida is our home state." I was cut off by cheering from the audience. "And being as how we love Florida so much, we are going to leave you with a special song." More applause. "This is one off of our new album that won't be out until September. It's called Show Me." The crowd was going wild as we started into the song. It was a rocking song. Robert and I were singing together on this one. Something that we had been wanting to do for a while. The lyrics were: VERSE 1 Show me! Show me how to lay it down! Jesus! I just want your light to shine! I lift you up! So the world will know VERSE 2 Show me! Show me how to carry on. Jesus! Help me share the truth of life! Eternal Life! Your grace continues on and on. CHORUS I'll take my cross and follow you. Show me something more to do To take this message to the world To glorify your name on high! VERSE 3 Show me! Show me how to give my life Jesus! You're the reason for it all Praise Your name! Your Word will stand the test of time. CHORUS END The crowd was going wild. "Goodnight Miami!" I shouted as we all went of stage. I took Laura and lead her back stage. They kept cheering. Then they began to chant. "We want more." Over and over. "Let's do Consuming Fire. I know its not one of our songs but they'd love the way we do it." I said. David and Robert were pumped up. Laura and I were just in shock at how this was turning out. We went back out on the stage and began to play the last song. It was a song about having a passion for the Lord and for Him to stir up the fire in our hearts and for us to have compassion and so on. It was a slower song but in the main part we would really rock it out with distortion and a sweet drum beat which David came up with a while back. We went back stage. Mom took Laura and I to the bathroom that was back there and changed us. "You girls are both soaked." She said. Laura and I were just smiling. We were so excited. When we came out, mom told all of us that she was out in the back row but it was so amazing that she even cried. We didn't know it due to the mass mounts of people that came forward, but Mom came down to help pray for people who wanted to receive Jesus. We had a knock at the door. One of the stage hands asked us if we were ready to see some people who had backstage passes. "Give us about a minute." I said. "Mom hide the diaper bag." I said. "Oh yeah." She said and ran over and took it outside and put it on the bus. About 10 people came in. We greeted them. We gave autographs and so on. Laura even was able to make her signature as long as I helped her find where to write. "You guys were awesome." One guy said. Another girl was talking to Laura about keyboard and so on. We were just sitting down having some snacks and hanging out. It was a little after ten but we were no where near tired. About 10:30 everyone had to leave. When we went to the bus all our equipment was already packed up. We had our own stage people that traveled in a van behind our bus. We went to Denny's around 11:15 when we were sitting there eating. We talked excitedly about the whole concert. Around midnight we went back to the bus. We parked at a rest stop for the night. Our next show would be in Tampa the next night. We didn't go to bed until around 3am because we were just too pumped up. The shower on the bus was quite small and wasn't very warm at all but I got a shower before lying down. Laura also had gotten one earlier. Mom was already asleep. Laura and I cuddled up with our stuffed animals. "Good night baby." I said to her as I kissed her goodnight. We slept until 10 the next morning. We were awaken when the bus began to drive. We had to be in Tampa by 4 for a photo shoot and then sound check at 6, then concert at 7:30. We were kind of board on the drive. We decided that we were going to have to do other things when we got to towns besides hanging out on the bus or we'd go insane. The photo shoot went great. We set up way earlier than we needed to and got our sound check done. Then we went to go eat at a nice seafood place. We sat out by the bay for about an hour after eating. When we got to the concert venue, we got dressed and began to pray. We had a half hour until show time. We heard a knock at the door. Robert opened it. There stood Laura, Joey, Ralph, my daddy, Tammy, Kathy, Kevin, Teala, and David and Robert's parents. They had driven to come see us! IT had only been 2 days since we saw them last but it was nice to see them again. I was joking around and teasing them about being our groupies and following us around everywhere. They told us we were on in 5 minutes. As the night before, we rocked out and God moved and people got saved. Back stage we had visitors just like last time. Also Tammy and Teala came in to tell us that they were heading back home. Baby Mandi was at Catlin's house and Tammy wanted to get home so she could see her baby girl. If you recall, Catlin is one of mom's friends from church. We would often baby sit for her kids and vise versa. We went out to eat again. This time however we went to bed around 1:30am. Laura and I lie awake a while but after breastfeeding and filling our diapers up with poopie, we fell asleep. The bus was driving all the way to Atlanta so it started around 4am. I woke up briefly but then went back to sleep. I was exhausted. Mom came in and changed Laura and I around 6am. Then we slept again until 10am. By this point we were near Jacksonville. We were going to be performing in Jacksonville on our return path home towards the end of the tour. Laura and I lay in bed almost until noon.
