Tiffany's Diaper Tales Volume II By BabyInDiapers Written 02/23/2005 Chapter 007 Morning came and mommy woke me up a little earlier then usual since I was going to need a bath because my diaper was totally yucky. So after my bath I had breakfast. I gave mommy and daddy a hug and then went off to school. As I was walking to school I just began to pray for Tammy. I felt the Lord was leading me to pray. As I was praying for her then a song came into my mind. It was one we had sung yesterday at church. The words of the chorus just kept going through my mind. "Consuming fire, fan into flame, a passion for Your name. Spirit of God, fall in this place, Lord have Your way, Lord have Your way, with us." I sat at the bus stop for a while. Emily and Laura were running late. They finally showed up just as the bus pulled up to our stop. We got on the bus and sat down and talked. "Hey you guys, I really think we should change our last song we do at the concert, I think we should do this one." I began to sing the lines. "But Tiffany, its 5 days away. How will we get ready in time?" Laura asked. "It's not a hard one, and God will help us. I just really feel like we should sing it, that's all." "OK fine." Laura said. "Laura, I know how you like to plan things, and you don't like changing stuff at the last minute, but I really think that this song would be powerful at the end of our last set." I said as I put my arm around her. "Ok yeah, you're right, I just get a little nervous when we change things close to performance time, that's all." "I know. God is going to be with us all the way." The next few days of school went by slowly as anticipation of the big night built up. Finally Friday afternoon the bell rang and we ran to the bus. Emily's mom had to work until 5, and so my mommy helped us girls get dressed up and diapered. Then daddy and I rode to Robert's house to pick him up. We then swung by Emily's house. She had given us the key so we could get into the garage and load our stuff. Robert and my dad moved the big stuff and I got all the rest. Laura and Emily went with mommy and Aunt Kathy to the church. They were going to have refreshments after the concert. So they were already at the church getting things setup. We got to church and setup our equipment. We didn't need our amps because the monitoring system and the amps the praise team used were there. SO they let us plug our stuff in and we did a sound check. "Ok guys. Now let's do that last song. We need all the practice we can get on it." Laura said. We began and we had a couple mistakes. Emily began to get frustrated and she ran off stage crying when Laura yelled at her. I put my guitar down on its stand and ran off stage after her. I caught up to Emily. "Emily, shhh. honey its ok. Don't cry. You know how Laura gets before a performance, don't take it personally ok." I said as I held her. Laura came up behind us. "I'm sorry Emily. I didn't mean to yell at you." She said as she hugged Emily. "It's ok Laura, I know. I guess I'm just nervous that's all." Emily said. "Let's go pray, we need to ask the Lord to be with us and to help us especially on that last song." I said. I went back out to get Robert and he came back stage with us. We all joined hands. "You pray first." Emily said to me. "Father God, we just lift this night up to you. Lord use us for your glory. Help our music to reach people for you Lord, and I pray you be with us as a group, bless us, and help us to realize we are in your presence and that you will be doing a mighty work through us. Lord it's not us, but You. You deserve the glory Jesus." I prayed. Then Robert prayed. "Dear God, It's awesome to be a part of this group and to see what you've been doing in our lives this past year. God we thank you because you have blessed us with these gifts which we can use to share your word through music. Thank you Jesus." Then Emily prayed. "Jesus, thank you for the love of my friends and also for the love that you showed us by giving your life so that we could be your children Lord. I thank you for loving me Lord, and for helping me and my mom to know you more. Thank you for Tiffany, Laura and Robert, and for our wonderful families Jesus." She finished praying then Laura prayed. "Jesus, I thank you for being my savior. Thank you for the love that you've shown to us. It's you who has enabled us to come this far. It is you who will anoint our music tonight. Lord help me not to lean on my own understanding and wisdom, because it's nothing compared to you Jesus. I pray that the devil will not be able to interfere here tonight. Lord I ask that you bring into harmony every note we play so that people may enter into your presence. Thank you Jesus. It is in your name that we pray." She finished then we all stood there for a second or two holding hands. Then we all said Amen. We then went to see my mom and dad and Aunt Kathy. Robert's parents were there, along with Emily's mom. I told mommy I was soaked and so she changed me. Laura also got changed by her mommy. Emily was wet but not wet enough to need a change. We sat backstage. Only 10 minutes to go until we hit the stage. "I wish Tammy and Amy were here." I said. "Yeah. I know Tiff." Laura said. We just sat there waiting. We heard the pastor get up and say a few things. Then we got our cue and went on stage and the applause rang out and wow was the place packed! I stepped up to the microphone and Emily gave us 4 clicks and we were into our first song. Time seemed to go in slow motion while we were in the songs. IT was so awesome because they even had lighting, and smoke and everything! We then transitioned into the worship songs and as I looked out people were just worshiping God and the presence of God was really there in an amazing way. As we were at our second to last song, I called for the prayer counselors to come down to the front. I wanted people to be able to pray if they felt the need. I knew there would be a lot of unsaved people there. I could sense His Spirit was with me as I spoke and then we began to play again. Finally the last song was upon us. I had tears running down my face as I sang. There must be more than this O breath of God come breathe within There must be more than this Spirit of God we wait for You Fill us anew we pray Fill us anew we pray Consuming fire fan into flame A passion for Your name Spirit of God fall in this place Lord have Your way Lord have Your way with us Come like a rushing wind Clothe us with power from on high Now set the captives free Leave us abandoned to Your praise Lord let Your glory fall Lord let Your glory fall Consuming fire fan into flame A passion for Your name Spirit of God fall in this place Lord have Your way Lord have Your way with us Stir it up in our hearts, Lord Stir it up in our hearts, Lord Stir it up in our hearts, Lord A passion for Your name Consuming fire fan into flame A passion for Your name Spirit of God fall in this place Lord have Your way Lord have Your way with us "Jesus. Thank you Lord. I pray God that you fill our hearts with your love Jesus. Help us to seek you more Jesus. Lord I pray for those who don't know you. If there is anyone who doesn't know Jesus tonight, it is my prayer, and the desire of His heart that you come to know him. There are still prayer counselors up front. If you want to pray with someone and receive Jesus as your Lord and savior tonight, I urge you to do so. He is here with us. His presence is here. Don't delay, just come now, He waits for you with open arms. Thank you for your love Jesus! Let's sing that again!" Consuming fire fan into flame A passion for Your name Spirit of God fall in this place Lord have Your way Lord have Your way with us Consuming fire fan into flame A passion for Your name Spirit of God fall in this place Lord have Your way Lord have Your way with us "We love you Jesus." I whispered into the microphone. The resonation of our instruments quieted down. People were still praying and so Laura just played the piano softly as I just laid down on the stage face down and just prayed and cried in intercession for the people that were being ministered to. Ten minutes went by and people were still praying and just sitting there in His presence. Emily and Robert knelt down next to me and we just thanked God for what he did. Finally Laura quit playing and we all went backstage. People began to clap as we moved from a time of prayer, to a time of celebration. They called us back out onto the stage for an encore! We came back and did a faster song and everyone clapped and we just celebrated and thanked Him for all He did for us. The pastor then informed everyone that we had refreshment's in the other building and that everyone was welcome to come over and have fellowship. Everyone was moving around and it was very crowded. We were all looking for our parents. "Daddy!" Laura yelled as she saw her daddy and little brother standing there with her mom. They all hugged. Then I saw my mommy and daddy. I hugged them. "Honey you were amazing tonight. Mommy and daddy are so proud of you." They said while kissing me and hugging me. We talked on the way over to the other building. "Where's Aunt Kathy?" I asked. "Oh she's here somewhere." Mom said. Robert's parents came up to me while we were in line for food and told me what a wonderful job we all did tonight. Laura and her little brother and daddy were in line behind us. Laura and her mom and dad were talking and Laura was so glad to see her daddy. Her little brother even told her she did really good "playing the piano." He said. Even though it was a keyboard, but oh well. After a bunch of people came up and gave me us compliments for the wonderful concert we just thanked them and gave God the glory because it truly was Him who enabled us to do what we did. Just then someone walked up behind me and put there hands over my eyes. "Teala!" I said as I turned to hug her. "I thought you were going to be away at vocational school until Christmas. What are you doing here." I asked. "I finished early, I took my test and got my certification!" she said. I hugged her. "Congratulations!" I said as I gave her another hug. "So were you here for the concert?" "Yes I was! You guys were so awesome!" She said. "Thanks, but it was God who enabled us to be able to do that though." "Yep he's awesome." Just then Tammy walked over and sat down next to me in an empty chair. "Tammy!!!" I said as I hugged her. "You didn't think I'd miss your big concert did you?" "Oh my gosh you actually came to see us!" I said "Of course, I'm your biggest fan. Oh can I have your autograph?" She said. I just laughed. "How did you get here though?" "Well me and a couple other kids from college who had family in this area drove down here today after lunch. Wee ditched our afternoon class." She said as she laughed. "Wow! I'm so glad you came." I said as I hugged her again. Later on I sat down and talked to Laura, Emily, and Robert. "We did great you guys. It was awesome. God is awesome, and You guys are awesome." I said as I hugged them each. I even gave Robert a peck on the cheek. We then left and went home. Daddy had a video tape of the performance and so when we got home we watched it. "It really is neat, even to see it on tape. But nothing is like being there, in the moment. You know what I mean?" I said. Mom and dad nodded. Teala got tucked in and went to bed. Tammy stayed up with me for a while and we talked about college and other stuff until I got tired. She changed me and then tucked me in. "I love you." She said. "I love you too Tammy. Thanks for coming to see me sing." I said. "I wouldn't have missed it for anything honey." She said as she kissed my forehead. "Now get some sleep kiddo. I'll see ya in the morning." I smiled as she turned and closed the door behind her. Teala was already sound asleep.
