*Synopsis: In your quest for the ultimate forbidden knowledge of the occult and otherworldly dimensions, you end up in a small town library that has a supposedly cursed grimoire bound in human skin. The librarian who helps you is unfazedly pleasant, but there’s something a little off with her slow, deliberate speech and movements… as if she’s studying you. She clearly knows what those pages hold, but that won’t stop you from finding the answers you seek.*

Content Note: \[Volume Warning\] is for 2 instances of gradually increased volume for dramatic effect around the 13- and 15-minute mark. If you listen to the rest of the audio at a reasonable, comfortable level, these parts shouldn't blow your eardrums, but I figured it's worth a heads up!

I've wanted to be part of an audio swap for a while and joined r/GonewildAudible's [Secret Monster Match Exchange](https://www.reddit.com/r/GonewildAudible/comments/1flrk47/event_secret_monster_match_exchange_audio/)!! I got matched with u/SomewhatImmoral and was thrilled to have the opportunity to put my own spin on Lovecraftian horror. What's more romantic than getting sexually tortured by an incomprehensible cosmic abomination? 😍

This is also my first time doing any sort of improv. I did some research and had a loose outline with bits of scripted dialogue, but writing a whole script was taking too much time, so I just sucked it up and powered through with recording. 🤷‍♀️ I always love pushing my limits and trying something new when it comes to audios though, and I'm proud of how this turned out.

Time to get some reading done. An Old One awaits\~ 👾
