Summary: Jason eats a Sandwich, Naomi freaks the hell out, Jason misses his family. –The Next Day– The scene fades into the Lunchroom, wherein Jason makes his way through the Lunch line. He grabs a Sandwich and some potato chips, and sits alone to eat his lunch. "Mind if I sit down?" A familiar, bubblegum tone asks. Jason doesn't even look up, he knows exactly who it is. "Yeah, have a Seat." Jason says, lying through his teeth. Naomi sits with the Spark and begins to eat her leafy green Salad. "So… How have you been liking the School? Made any Friends?" Naomi said, much calmer than usual. "It's been… an Adventure to say the least. I think I helped Naser's Sister with her Band. She seems to like Me after we kinda had an Incident in Science yesterday." Jason explains to the Cream-Colored Parasaur. "Incident?" She asks. "Yeah, Fang and I had a bit of a Fight but I think we smoothed it out. Though She did call my music taste 'Boomer Rock'." Jason continues, chuckling slightly at the last Comment. "So… Did you play Music with them?" Naomi asks. Jason raises an eyebrow, why was she giving him such a Shakedown? "I mean… Yeah, but we could barely get through a Song. Could barely hear my Guitar." Jason says. Naomi's eyes light up at the mention of the Guitar. "You play Guitar?" Naomi continues pestering the Spark with questions. "Yeah I had it out in my Car, I grabbed it and my Amp and jammed with them." With that last answer, Jason finishes his Sandwich. Naomi sits for a second, almost as if to Ponder or Process what Jason said. "Uh… Earth to Naomi?" Jason quips. "Oh! I was just thinking…" Naomi says. "Of what? Naomi locks eyes with Jason. "You don't Own a Car…" Naomi says, a Sinister tone apparent in her voice. Jason sits for a second confused, before realizing. His eyes widen as He realizes his Lie has been made. He sighs. "You saw didn't you?" He asks. "Saw what? I didn't see anything…" Naomi says while sipping her Tea, playing coy with the Spark. "You saw me use the Patch on my Jacket to retrieve my Guitar didn't you?" Jason states, in a very Matter of Fact tone. "What?" She asks, confused. "Look, I get You're trying to pull this whole 'Gotcha' thing to try and dig deeper into who the hell I am. But if I'm honest, the Truth would confuse you more than anything else I could say." Jason says, it seems to make a strange mark on Naomi. She seems deflated, and yet confused. "Why is He admitting this so easily? I thought this was his Big Secret? He might be Toying with me… Ok, Naomi… Focus on the Task at hand." She thinks to herself. She clears her throat. "So… How did you do that?" Naomi asks. "Jesus, You and the questions. You're interrogating me like I'm a Criminal." Jason puts his hand on his forehead. "Look, you really want an Explanation? Meet me after School in the Football Field." Jason says. "Um… Ok?" She agrees, still very Confused by the Spark's willingness to give up something as big as This. "You aren't satisfied? Eh, You types never are." Jason says as He stands up and walks off, cleaning where He had just eaten and leaving Naomi very Off-put by his words. The scene fades out to another scene where Jason stands in the middle of the Football Field, He checks his Phone for the time. "She should be here by now… Little Miss Perfect ain't so Perfect now, Eh?" Jason quips to himself. Jason looks over to the bleachers to see Naomi standing near them, she darts her Head left and right before Tip-Toeing across the Field. "Wow, the Next Sam Fisher, Ladies and Gentlemen!" Jason says. "Shhh!" She hushes the Spark. "Oh Shut up, it's not like anyone will be out here. It's the start of the Weekend. Are you ready?" Jason asks the girl. "...Ready as I'll ever be…" She responds. "Ok… Well!" Jason takes off his Denim Jacket and points to the Brown Leather Patch on the right flank. The Patch looks Homemade, and it reads "P.K" in White Letters "This guy is a Portal to a Pocket Dimension where I keep my Stuff." Jason explains. Naomi looks down at the Patch and back up at Jason, still very Confused. "You think I'm Crazy, don't you?" Jason says. "Very." She responds. Jason sighs as He readies his hand. "Check it out." He begins to lower his hand into the Patch. A Small white Portal opens around his hand. As He Reaches through, Naomi's jaw drops. he digs around for a bit, and eventually pulls his hand back out to reveal a Satsuma Orange in it. "Hey, I thought I got rid of all these last time I spent Christmas in London." Jason says as tosses the Fruit to Naomi, who's still in shock. She barely catches the Citrus in her arms. "H-How did you…?" Naomi can barely speak. "Magic." Jason says while Waving his Hand. "There has to be a-a Logical Explanation!" She shouts as she looks down at the Patch and the Citrus. "Well… The Patch of leather is taken from a Magic Bag my Grandma made… But I looked like a Fuckin' Idiot with it on, so I said 'Hey, why don't we make it a Patch for my Battle Jacket!'. A few cuts and snips later, and Bam! A mini Portal to a Pocket Dimension." Jason explains to the Parasaur, she's still completely losing It. "How in the World did your Grandma make that? Does Magic exist? Can Anyone do it?" Naomi asks frantically. "Slow down, Peaches and Cream. You can barely handle this, imagine if I told you anything else about Me. Your Brain would splatter halfway to New Jersey!" Jason laughs to himself for that last comment. "I-I need to know more! This could revolutionize the World as we know it!" Naomi says. Jason just chuckles in response. "Who says it already hasn't?" He says. Naomi's eyes widened. "Ok it's been fun, Naomi. I've gotta head home and Work on a few things. See ya Around!" Jason waves as he dashes off. Leaving Naomi standing alone in the Football Field. Jason makes the journey back to Skin Row, getting off the bus and walking home. Jason walks up to his Apartment Building, pulls out His keys and opens the door. "Ah… Ghetto Sweet Ghetto." Jason quips as he drops his bag on the floor and puts his Jacket up on a Rack, the Rack catches the Jacket in the cut on the shoulder and worsens it. "Oh, Goddammit!" Jason says as he inspects the Damage. "I've really gotta get this Thing fixed." Jason's apartment is small, enough room for a bed, desk and Guitar rack. Jason looks over at his Jacket. "I should probably grab some Gear to keep here, just so that way I don't have a situation like with Naomi again." Jason says as he grabs his jacket and begins to pull out more Guitars, Amps, and other Musical Gear. Jason fills the Bicycle Rack style Guitar stand with 8 Electric Guitars and one Stand off to the side has an Acoustic Guitar on it. "Ok… Now for the Task at hand." Jason says. He walks up to the window and goes through the Fire Escape, he takes it up to the roof of his Building. "Ok… Decent clearance." Jason says while taking out a scanning device and Waving it around. "Seems like the Electromagnetic Field around here is a little Weaker than it should be, but it oughta be enough for what I need…" Jason says to himself. Jason takes out a small Rod-like device and sticks it into the concrete of the Roof, he clicks a small button on it and it begins to Beep while blinking a Red light. "Beacon in place… This'll help the guys back home track me, I hope. Now's the hard part of getting what I need to get started…" Jason thinks to himself. "But… I'm in no Mood to go hunting for experimental Military components right now, I'm exhausted from School." Jason begins to make the trip back down the Fire Escape. He slips back through his window and closes it. He climbs into bed and stares up at the Ceiling. "...Man, I hate this… I always get into situations like this and it always sucks. I get stuck and have to either sit on my Ass and wait or MacGyver my way back home." Jason complains to the ceiling. "You'd think one of these times I'd just say 'Fuck it! This is my Life now'. But no, I've got a Responsibility to uphold. If not for me, then for my Family…" Jason pulls out his wallet and looks at a picture of him and his Parents. "Mom always got worried sick when I went Missing… She'd always be hounding Darrell and making him work himself and the Staff to the Bone just to get me back home. Dad never worried as much, he had faith that I could manage." Jason reminisces. Jason looks at the picture and feels melancholy… could he even get Home? The Sparks don't seem to exist in this Universe, otherwise he would've been picked up by them by now. "Why do I feel like this is the last time I'll see you Guys?" Jason says while looking at the picture. "Eh, it's just nerves… I'm getting back home. No matter what it takes." Jason says, he yawns mid sentence. Jason looks over at his clock. 9:35 PM "I got home at 4… have I been lying in bed for 3 hours already?" Jason thinks to himself. Jason shrugs it off as he gets up and gets ready for bed.
