Hey everyone! Just my usual quick explanation and heads up I usually give at the beginning of my stories. First something for the people who’ve been reading my work for at least some time already, then something for the people picking this up, and finally that explanation. It’ll be in paragraphs so skip what you don’t give a shit about.

 

For those already following me, I’m not stopping Year to Ourselves by any stretch of the word. Maybe a chapter or two of this and then another chapter for YtO. I’ve been in the snoot club discord server for a bit and those ding dongs having prompts and workshops and more got me itching hard to do this.

 

For those new to me, hey! Been writing for a few years now, started with Mass Effect Novelizations, then went onto something based on a DnD campaign, story called “Year to Ourselves,” had a long burnout period I’ve climbed out of and am writing again. If you like Better Days, I hope you will consider giving that a chance as well!

 

And what IS Better Days? Obviously Ending 4 of Snoot game is the best ending, and I will take no arguments. Prompts from the Snoot club server got me itching and thinking of a bunch of scenes that would have been nice down the E4 route/as bonus chapter type content. I’m not redoing or rewriting anything here, just adding. As good as E4 is there are things that are at least “resolved” off screen or not mentioned. Anon’s family, Ripley starting to change his tune about Anon, Anon probably apologizing for being an ass to Stella early on/being better friends with her and Rosa. The Aaron household dealing with and healthily resolving the buildup of trauma and angst since Naser took a long walk off a short cliff. And then, of course, Amber, though the kids are probably gonna be down the line. This is going to be more along the lines of an Anthology than a direct story. Knowing myself, I am likely going to write one or two smut chapters at some point for Anon and Fang/Lucy but the usual focus on the romance. There will be no NTR Stella or Trish hatefucking or anything that puts Anon or Fang/Lucy with someone else. You can’t make me.

 

Finally, just to mention I came up with the name Better Days because Umbruhh (Of Bad Apple Fame) was hanging in one of the workshops one night, Starman of Bonds runs them, and it came up that I needed to make this have a B name to complete the trifecta.
