Although I wasn't a very good chemistry student, I still managed to impress my college professor.  Mostly due to one particular lab, in which I melted a testtube, which the teacher said in his 20 years of teaching he had never seen before.  And then I melted another.  And then I made something go 'pop'.  Chemistry makes me nervous now.
