I did this one afternoon in my first drawing class in college; the student artshow was about to go up, and I didn't like any of my work from that class (it was all boring still lives and crap busywork assignments; I really did not like that teacher).  This is scanned from a Polaroid taken of it (as it was far too large for a scanner bed), hence the bad image quality.  I used the dragon's tail as a design boarder, thinking it would look neat.  Otherwise, I was just thinking that I wanted to do an impressive looking dragon for the show ;)
