Another sad pic about the loss of a loved one; in this case, of one's mate.  I forget what prompted this pic, but I remember that I wanted to get the pathos of the scene, make it dramatic without any major action going on.  The outspread wings of the mourner help give it that dramatic flare, whereas the crumpled wings of the departed shows the disheveled, non-caring state of death.
