I did this while in a public speaking class in college, playing around with doing cute looking furries.  I later used it as part of a handout I used for a speech in the same class, talking about nurturing ones creative nature and doing what you can when you can.  The teacher wasn't quite sure how to take the fact that I was drawing while in her class, but it was cute so she decided not to mind :)
