I'm gonna be honest with everyone, I'm having a bit of a hard time coming up with new things to draw, and it's not being helped by the looming obligation to draw the winner of my most recent poll: the Terraria Zoologist. I find her design uninspiring and her character so non-existent that I don't think anything I draw will be of any interesting quality and I will genuinely not enjoy the process.

Because of this I'm going to veto this months poll, hopefully I'll be back on track soon enough to make a new poll, hopefully towards the end of this month too.

Nikki has trouble expressing her feelings to her mum, and her mum has trouble hugging her own daughter without accidentally groping her.

These are things a healthy mother/daughter relationship is designed to improve on, maybe one day they'll properly see eye to eye....one day...

First time doing comics, I think it came out ok, not brilliant, but not terrible either, definitely some things to improve upon tho if I decide to do more in the future.

A few peeps were asking about what Nikki's mum looked like, so I thought I'd scribble up a quick sketch of her.

You wouldn't think her and Nikki would be related at all, but it appears thiccness skips a generation, she naturally worries for her daughter a lot and can sometimes come off as overbearing, but really anyone would come off as overbearing when you're a moody goth with a bit of a weight problem...

(Also I've been reading a lot of Beastars and I wanted to have a go at drawing in a slightly more freehanded scrappy style)

Ya'll ever owned a set of jammers that you just couldn't bear to throw away cuz they meant so much to you? and the only reason you ended up replacing them is cuz your massive titties ended up totally annihilating them?

So I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I will be finishing this piece, I don't believe I would be able to render it in an appealing way given the timeframe I allowed myself for this piece.

The reason for this is that it's a new month and I really want to get started on some personal projects as the majority of my posts here have either been commissions or other various obligatory pieces, and I really want to cut loose and start improving my art and producing more 'original' works.

Forcing myself to complete a piece that I'm just not passionate about anymore will only result in sub par content, I'm really sorry if anyone was looking forward to seeing this piece completed, but I hope you understand that given the choice between a decent looking sketch and a scrappy rendered piece, I'd take the decent sketch any day.

Fingers crossed tho that this month is a productive one tho...

So I'm going to be going on a short hiatus, hopefully no longer than the rest of this month.

Recent events have made me realise two things:

One is that I've been severely underselling myself as an artist, to put it bluntly a lot of artists with similarly sized followings to me make a lot more money with their work, a lot of it is down to enticing patreon rewards, unique art and engaging original content, say what you will but I don't believe I hold to those kinds of standards.

And Two is that I've not been delivering on what this patreon was really made for, I barely post original content and instead just post commissions that other people have already payed for. It's not fair on any of you and going forward I want to limit the amount of commissions I do and try and focus more on my own original content.

At the end of the day I want to make a decent living off of drawing the stuff I love to draw, and right now I'm failing at that, so this is why I am going to be taking a short break to reconfigure this patreon and the art I do for it.

Billing for this month has been paused, so don't worry you won't be losing any money

If everything goes well I should be back up and running in August, with a hot new setup and hopefully some even hotter pics too.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me and I hope you will all stick around to see what happens, and if you have any questions please let me know.

Heyo everyone, I'm afraid that I'm gonna be cancelling this months Pokemon themed Patreon Poll.

I've not been satisfied with my work for a while now and the last thing I want to spend my time doing is working on something I have no passion for, over and over again these Patreon polls feel more like a chore than anything else. I feel that my time could be better spent improving my art and working on projects that I actually enjoy.

Trying out a new look, why not start with everyones favourite Bat girl.

A close relative of the Jackalope, native to China they are small, sprightly and generally mischievous.

Female Pikalopes are the antithesis of the traditional Chinese woman, wild, rowdy and sexually agressive, they don't care to be held down by such things as marriage or stable jobs.

They live a mysterious, nocturnal lifestyle, forming secretive, nomadic societies that some have spent their entire lives looking for, but to no avail.

They are often likened to the 'Jiangshi' of Chinese folklore, otherwise known as the 'Hopping Vampire' a title they often embrace and use as a basis for a lot of their horror based pranks.

I think this one is my personal favourite

Amongst the fastest of the Jackalope subspecies, The African Gazellope can achieve speeds of up to 80kmph in short bursts.

Naturally muscular, they live a very active and competitive lifestyle. A relationship wth a Gazellope is a test in patience. They live hard, work hard, and play hard, tho they do enjoy a lazy day every so often.

Gazellopes rarely lose there figure and can retain their youthful looks and figure well into later life.

Growing to over 2 metres in height they are the largest Jackalope subspecies. Primarily native to North America and Canada they are incredibly rare.

Mooselopes naturally have very thick, soft fur and high body fat to protect them from the cold, as a result they generally don't choose to wear that much clothing for risk of overheating. This can often lead to Mooselopes not buying much clothing and wearing old and ill-fitting attire.

This suits them fine however as they are very proud creatures, being the largest Lagomorph species around they enjoy showing off there impressive physique and ornate antlers to their smaller cousins.

This message is exclusively for those of you paying for full colour commissions.

I have been doing this for two months now and whilst it has been a lot of fun, I need to make it clear that the workload to payout ratio is not quite in my favour, chief among them being the conversion rate from US dollars to UK pounds.

So as it is I am going to raise the amount required for a full colour commission from $25 to $38.

Now I know some of you may not be able to afford that, but please understand that yes I look to please my followers, but I also need to respect myself as an artist and not sell myself short, don't worry tho, all of your commissions will be completed and after that, you are free to choose whatever you want to do.

I hope you all understand my decision and if you have any suggestions on this policy change, do let me know

This change will go into effect on the 5th April.
