Frequently asked questions
-
Where can I send error reports?
The game usually saves a log file named output_log.txt inside the game's data folder, which contains both information about your computer as well as details logged during its execution.
A copy of this file can be sent to bonfiredevteam@gmail.com for analysis after any crash experienced by the player. -
My camera is constantly spinning
This is a known issue that affects the 3D engine used by the game, Unity3D, often caused by having a Playstation Dual Shock or any other non standard input device connected to the computer.
Disconnecting the device solves the problem in most setups. -
The game becomes stuck during the Patreon disclaimer start screen, or during initial loading
On Mac, make sure the Bonfire application is properly installed in the Applications folder and not on just any other place, for example, your desktop.
Bear in mind Bonfire is heavy on resources and might take a while for it to preload the basic assets upon running. The game expects you to have a setup optimal for 3D gaming experience, so anything not fit for that purpose, such as Macbooks and toasters, will likely experience issues running it.
If you do happen to have a decent gaming setup, contact support at bonfiredevteam@gmail.com

Where are my saved orc files located?
On Windows, all the orcs you've created and deleted are stored in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\Prasetto\Bonfire
On Mac, the location should be in Users/YourUserName/library/cache/prasetto/Bonfire
These files persist even after you remove or reinstall the game, and can only be manually deleted for now.
