Chocolate You cannot take my chocolate I will not give it hence For you may find it poison But you lack my defense What makes you ill affects me not 'Least not in the same way And while indeed there is a price It's one I'll gladly pay You cannot take my chocolate From which you find no joy That you think base and evil Fit only to destroy But you and I are not alike And further, you are wrong You see things in black and white While I know gray is strong You cannot take my chocolate My bars and chips and cake And though I know they hurt me To taste is no mistake Vanilla is the drug you choose But to me it matters naught You can keep your damn vanilla But you can't take my chocolate --Tonin, November 20, 2014
