Wolves We wolves are wily and wonderfully weird We're sneaky and strange and much worse than you'd feared We stay up all night just to howl at the moon We make lousy neighbors and sing out of tune But we're also loyal, courageous and brave And never have been held as modesty's slave 'Cause we're simply great, how ever we're viewed We're proud and we're loud and we run around nude Wait, though, there's more! Don't run away yet Don't call the police, FBI, or a vet I'll tell you the one thing that wolves, we all lack: Any shred of reluctance adding to our pack! We don't care if you're covered in feathers or fur If you're rather scaly, or twitter and purr We're fine with wings or a prehensile nose And we'll even ignore if you choose to wear clothes We know that we're great, and we think you are too So there's only one logical thing you can do Come howl at the moon and help conquer a cake We'll grill up some meat, or a suitable fake 'Cause there's one thing every wolf knows is true Wolf's not what you are, it's the things that you do --Tonin, Nov 16 2018
