In the middle of a dirty haunted house, lie a gigantic wooden behemoth, sleeping mostly gently in a position similar to that of a cat, occasionally stirring and snarling in his sleep. The monster was rather lonely, he never had many friends, and most of his social life came from semi-aggressive interactions with those he shared the house with. He so desperately wanted to be appreciated in some way, truly appreciated, not just kept around for his hunting skills. He had no idea how to go about this, however, and this was, in fact, the cause of frequent nightmares on his end. It was during this night that his mind conjured up a dream that he felt presented a solution to his problem. In his dream, he came across a plethora of meat and brought it home, slowly chipping away at it for months and months, his body becoming softer and cuddlier with each passing day until… He woke up. Something about this dream fascinated him, it gave him hope and he wondered if, perhaps, becoming softer as the dream suggested would make him more desirable, and so he chose to experiment. Although he craved meat, he wasn’t sure if he was fully willing to commit that far yet, so he instead opted to pick out some pastries to eat, of which he always carried plenty. He quickly ran into the kitchen and grabbed the ones he liked, before heading back to his room to gorge himself in peace. His mouths began to water as he opened a container of croissants, munching on their flaky outsides and spongy insides, finding a great pleasure in their buttery taste. After finishing the container, he pulled out a pie and began to shovel fistfuls of the treat into his belly maw. His eating began to become more and more frantic as he continued, his mind slipping into the delight of all the flavors. He ate and ate, gulping down danishes and macarons, biting on eclairs, and slurping up strudel. All things considered, it only took a short time for his abdomen to start rounding out from the absolutely abundant amount of sweets being stuffed into it. He didn’t even notice it until quite a bit later. Flesh’s stomach groaned painfully, not used to being so full. He felt sick, and a light green color seemed to creep along his face. He belched sickly as he drifted a hand over his belly, it felt warm and he could feel it churning under his fingertips. He curled up on the floor, grasping his aching middle with his claw, trying to get the pain to stop, before quickly falling into a food coma. When he woke up, he felt a little heavier than the other day, although the change was barely noticeable, just a tiny bit of pudge showing on his frame. The massive monster huffed a bit, disappointed by his handiwork, clearly he would have to try harder in order to achieve his goal. Feeling defeated, but determined, he stormed out of the house, seeking something a little more… fresh. He growled, frustrated at his failure as he trotted to a nearby alleyway, surprised to find some easy prey, five, defenseless humans, seeking refuge from the Monolith. He grinned at them, feeling their hearts skip a beat as their eyes fell upon him. He laughed a sadistic and maniacal laugh as his lower jaw unhinged itself, black drool cascading down his chin. He grabbed one of the humans closest to him, savoring their fear before he couldn’t wait any longer. The human screamed as they were stuffed into the throat of the beast, hearing the creature make a purring sound as they slipped into his belly. Flesh giggled giddily as his mouth dripped with saliva, it had been so long since he had devoured a living meal! It felt nice having his meal kick and squirm within his gut. He grabbed another one of the humans and swallowed them too, delighting in the feeling of his belly bulging slightly with their descent. He grinned, eyes maddened with hunger as he devoured the third human, eating up their terrified screams for help. The last two humans also let out a cry of terror as he picked them both up, shoving one in his belly maw and lowering the other into his normal maw, swallowing them down greedily. As his hunger subsided, he found himself feeling full like last time, but without the sickly feeling that had plagued him previously. Meat was definitely the way to go, he thought. As he tried to move himself, however, he found that he was unable to, his stomach felt too strained. He let out a groan and sat down, he just hoped no one would find him in such a situation. After a few hours, his meal stopped squirming, and he was about to go home when he heard more humans around the corner, of whom he could only assume were friends of his meal. He sat up, hiding in the dark corners of the alleyway, waiting for the poor souls to come right to him. To his surprise, there were quite a few humans, ten of them in fact. For once he felt kind of scared, not of the humans, but if he’d be able to stomach all of them, especially since his last meal wasn’t fully digested. He quickly reached his larger arm out, scooping all of them closer to him with it. He lazily opened his maw, plucking one of the humans from his grip and placing them closer to his mouth, snaking out his tongue to get a taste. The human visibly cringed, smelling the beast’s rotten, meaty breath. He shoved them in his mouth quickly, swallowing as the human landed in the mush that remained of their friends. He could feel his belly stretch and groan already as he grabbed the next human. He was beginning to doubt his ability to finish all of them, although he tried to ignore it as he proceeded to gulp down two more of the humans, hearing his belly gurgle in protest as they squirmed within their fleshy prison. He let out a loud, deep, sickly burp before eating three more of the humans, his stomach stretching bigger and tighter. He ate four more, telling himself that if he didn’t finish them all, there would be consequences far greater than any stomach pain. He felt so full, he really did not want to eat the last human. But they were right there, and he couldn’t let them escape now. He leaned forward, transferring the human into his fingered hand and pushing them against his stomach, partially because he found their pleading to be rather amusing, and partially because he was procrastinating somewhat. He eventually grew bored of this and brought them to his maw, opening his mouth and placing them inside. Instead of swallowing right away, he closed his mouth and let the human squirm in there for a while, occasionally sucking on the small morsel, or pressing them against the inside of his cheeks with his tongue. Although in the end, they were swallowed down just like the rest of their friends. Flesh groaned as his hand flung to his tummy, patting it gently as a reward for its hard work. His middle made a satisfying “thump” sound as he pat it, barely feeling the squirms of the humans inside. He wondered if they even had room to struggle at this point, or if they were simply packed too tight. Either way, it didn’t matter, he was successful at what he set out to do, and that was all that was on his mind at the moment. As he moaned and burped from the ache, he hoped to himself that this binge would be more satisfactory than his last before once again falling into a food coma. When he woke up, he felt quite different, although he didn’t have a mirror or anything of the sort on him, he could tell he gained weight just from how heavy he felt. He lifted his now chubby arms and tried to lean against them for support, feeling a bit distressed at the fact he found himself unable to sit up, his legs buckling under his weight despite the fact he wasn’t full anymore. He grabbed at his blubbery stomach and cursed himself for being so gluttonous, huffing slightly. He tried to move again and found that it was still an impossible task on his own. He sweat furiously as he tried to lift his body, but could only feel his fat pressing against itself in a pitiful effort. Soon he was wheezing and gasping, completely out of breath from trying. He could no longer support his own heft, and he actually felt fear at this moment, assuming the worst. Having no other choices, he reluctantly cried out for Lila, or if not her than somebody to get him out of this situation. He just hoped they would come soon, as it seemed daylight was breaking.. and he didn’t want to become a meal himself in such a helpless state.
