It had been quite some time since Chowder, an unruly Kraang, had first ventured into the sewers. Her very first day was spent getting to know the place, that was until she came face to face with Spider Bytez, a spider-human hybrid who tried to chase her down and devour her. However, due to a strange turn of events the two became friends, and have been inseparable ever since. Chowder thought to herself about how fortunate she was to meet the strange yet alluring mutant as she clung to his arms. It was odd really, you would think a spider wouldn’t be very kind to a Kraang, yet here she was. Chowder always felt incredibly safe around her mutant friend, despite his somewhat rugged personality, there lay a hint of vulnerability within him. Chowder pondered this more as her friend carried her out of the sewer and into some sort of dead end street. Spider Bytez placed her down in his lap, sitting on a beaten down mattress. Spider Bytez gently stroked Chowder’s head with his hands, being careful not to damage her with his claws, he seemed a bit sleepy, as his many eyes fluttered in and out of consciousness. “Well…” he started, “we’ve known each other for a while now, I figured it’s about time I showed you my home.” He yawned, still gently petting the small Kraang, “I know it isn’t much, but hopefully it’s at least a bit comfortable, I’d hate to have you sleep down in the sewers tonight, that place is nasty, euch.” “Chowder finds this place most hospitable,” she said. “As long as Chowder is in the proximity of the spider mutant, Chowder does not care where her form lies.” Spider Bytez chuckled a bit, he always found Chowder’s manner of speaking to be rather unconventional, but sweet nonetheless. He gave her a gentle kiss, being careful not to scratch her with his teeth. “Goodnight ya silly Kraang, see you in the morning.” Spider Bytez wrapped his arms around Chowder as he quickly fell asleep, making sure not to hug her too tight. The kraang carefully cuddled him back, closing her eyes. She snuggled against his chubby belly, feeling very warm inside as the sound of his heartbeat lulled her to sleep. When Chowder awoke, she was alone on the mattress. Spider Bytez was in front of her, pacing in circles. “Victor?” the tiny Kraang inquired, “why is the spider mutant’s body circling so rapidly?” Spider Bytez stopped almost as soon as he heard her voice, rushing to her and holding her close. “Sorry, I’m just a bit shaken up from last night,” he said. “What was it that occurred in the hours of the dark?” asked Chowder, concerned. The giant spider sighed, “the Kraang came looking for you again, I fought them off but…” his voice trailed off, “I don’t want you to have to go back to the sewers,” he stated calmly. Chowder thought to herself for a bit, not wanting to go back to the sewer either. “What if… Victor hid Chowder?” The Kraang inquired, “somewhere that the other Kraang will not look?” “Somewhere that they won’t look?” “Correct,” Chowder nodded, feeling a bit silly about the idea that was rapidly forming in her head. “Perhaps… in here?” Chowder placed a tentacle gently against the mutant’s pudgy middle. Spider Bytez blinked rapidly, not quite sure he understood. “In… in my stomach?” he asked, very confused. Chowder nodded, seeming quite happy about the prospect. Spider Bytez, on the other hand, looked very, very concerned. The idea did seem very sweet, although he had a feeling that Chowder didn’t know what she was talking about. He tried to break the news to her as gently as possible, “Chowder… I uh, don’t think that’s a good idea.” Chowder dusted off her body as best she could as he talked, “oh, nonsense! Kraang enter the guts of beings a lot of times, both Chowder and Victor will be fine.” Spider Bytez raised an eyebrow, he saw Kraang get eaten a lot of times, none of which they had survived. “Chowder can still see that the spider mutant is hesitating, allow Chowder to show you,” the small alien said, trying to open her friend's mouth. Spider Bytez sighed, sitting down and opening wide, knowing that he couldn’t change Chowder’s mind, he just hoped she would be as safe as she said. “Do not chew,” Chowder instructed, climbing into the mutant’s mouth. The mutant’s venomous, almost tangy breath, instantly hitting against the small alien’s antennae. Most might have found the smell to be unpleasant, however, Chowder was not bothered by it in the slightest, in fact, it reminded her of home. It wasn’t a very long trip down into the creature's stomach, as he had a very small but wide throat. Once there, Chowder seemed to get cozy, squirming slightly under the mutant’s skin as she found a spot to rest. “See? Chowder told Victor she would be fine,” the small alien said reassuringly, giggling a bit. Spider Bytez was certainly still concerned, but his friend’s enthusiasm helped calm his nerves a bit. It felt oddly nice to have her in there, she was small enough to where it wasn’t uncomfortable, but he could still very much feel her moving around in there, safe and still very much alive. After finding that Chowder could easily crawl in and out of him as she pleased, the two of them decided to try and experiment to see if this idea could really help conceal her from the other Kraang. After a fair bit of cuddling, Chowder once again crawled into the mutant’s mouth. Now that Spider Bytez knew it was safe, he was a bit more comfortable with the prospect and tried his best to help Chowder along, occasionally sneaking licks in as she delved deeper into him. His alien friend had a rather squishy texture, and tasted surprisingly sweet, having a flavour similar to a vanilla cupcake. She was easy to swallow too, practically rolling into his throat, her soft texture making gulping her down simple. As the alien got cozy, Spider Bytez made sure she was ok. She assured him she was more than ok, his voice making her feel even safer in addition to the wall of flesh around her. The two of them had a peaceful sleep that night, with no interruptions at all. It seemed that the plan was a success, and through it the two of them found a new way to cuddle that they both enjoyed.
