The sun was shining down on us and the air was quite cool. All in all, it was a wonderful day for travelling. We had been thinking about hitching a ride with a merchant perhaps but ultimately decided that it was far more enjoyable to walk on a day like this.

Suddenly, a blue lizard jumped out of a tree. I blinked before taking a moment to examine this strange creature. Upon closer inspection the lizard partially resembled a fox. In fact, the main reason that I had assumed it was a lizard was that it was a scaled creature that had jumped out of a tree.

The realization that this creature had defied my expectations warranted further study. Upon which I realized, this creature was more fox than lizard. It had a lizard like tail, and its face, mainly its mouth and nose, largely resembled a lizard. However it had ears like a fox, its body was also far more thin and lithe than most of the lizards I have met.

On top of all of this, instead of the normal shape of a lizards feet and legs, this creature stood on the padded toes of a fox, its fingers were also quite a bit more dexterous and the claws were quite short. They appeared to be useful for gripping rough surfaces than tearing into flesh but I may have been wrong about that. When it moved its tail I realized that said tail was more flexible than that of it looked. 

All in all, this creature was both fascinating and unique, unlike any I had seen before in my travels. It was at this moment that I decided that this creature would need to come with us. There was no way I was going to allow such an elegant and graceful male as this slip through my fingers. Not only was it special, it was definitely male, a very useful trait for if we are between towns and need a creature that will satisfy our lustful desires.

First though, I obviously had to convince him to join us. I couldn't just go and assume that would work itself out. Because weapons weren't something that I terribly feared, I had actually missed the fact that this particular fox lizard thing was brandishing a spear at us. "My name is Hagan and you have invaded my home. If you do not leave, I will be forced to take action" Translating magic once again proved itself to be a valuable asset in my well being. I might not have been able to understand what this creature was saying without it.

"Dear creature, we did not intend to disturb your home in any way. We are actually passing travellers. We have no intention of doing anything uncouth while inside your 'home'."

"If you truly mean what you say, then you will be willing to prove it to me in the trial of Saiza. Saiza is a jungle lord who possess the unique power to tell if a person was lying by performing a ceremony where he was able to bond with them."

"Noble Hagan, I will gladly participate in this trial if it means earning your trust." I replied sincerely.

"We shall now engage in sexual congress." I had already thought this creature was awesome just by looking at it, not to mention its long spear. Now that I heard it demanding sex from me though, I was thoroughly convinced that this had to be one of the most amazing beings I had yet to encounter. It couldn't have been more perfect if it tried.

After we were untied, I decided to eat my neglected sandwich.
