Chance's Collection Story (c) Russet'14 Chance (c) MapleGleam The cage lift rattled heavily as it descended the shaft, the light of the loading dock overhead lost instantly as the elevator started to pick up speed. The lingering chill in the air from the crisp morning outside was being replaced with the muggy, humid air of the deep underground. Holding onto one of the grab hoops as the cage jerked and swayed the lone human occupant tried to read the notes he'd been handed by the shift foreman when he arrived up top. It wasn't easy, the naked light bulb hung from the cage's roof swung and bounced with every rackety clank and jerk of the lift as the machinery did its best to lower it safely. Giving up Jake stuffed the notes in one of the big leg pockets of his overalls and held onto the hoop and tried to sway in rhythm to the movements of the cage. Every now and then the smooth rock wall in front of the entrance grill would open up on a well-lit tunnel that flashed past in seconds, giving a glimpse of miners, machinery and carts filled with ore. It took ten minutes for the elevator to reach the bottom of the shaft and as the rush of air flowing past the rapidly descending car died away as it stopped the heat really hit the young miner. The air was humid and heavy this deep, even the best air circulation couldn't wipe out the stifling heat completely and as he slid the grating open and stepped into the tunnel his heavy duty boots thumped slightly on the damp, rocky floor. Pausing in the small tool station outside the lift Jake checked his hard hat was in place then unzipped his overalls to the waist. Shrugging his arms out of the heavy duty material he wrapped the arms about his waist before grabbing the dangling control box and sending the cage back up. The standard issue black and yellow string vest adorning Jake's torso showed off his physique. Real muscles honed from hours of hard labour instead of gym stimulated bulk. Down here in the humid air his skin gleamed with a layer of sweat and grease from the machines and his short beard and curly black hair completed the image of tough, competent miner he worked so hard to maintain. It was always a good look for attracting the ladies in the bars down in the town, sadly down here in the depths of the earth the nice view was wasted much to Jake's dismay. He should have been going into town right now for a night of partying not clipping tools to his vest and responding to some pit head emergency. "Still its why I get the most money," he mused to himself as he twisted the lamp attached to his hard hat projecting a cone of white light down the tunnel. Looking ahead at the dark, dank path that had been bored out of the rock Jake shook his head in dismay, "Looks fine to me," he grumbled before pulling the notes he'd been given back out of his pocket and peering at the hastily scrawled script of the shift foreman. Clomping along in his heavy work boots Jake headed away from the cage landing, following the directions, eyes roving over the solid rock walls, looking for anything untoward. It was a new tunnel, the newest and after five minutes it'd curved gently to the left, bringing him closer to the pit head where the dig team had reported the strange liquid seeping through the rock. He stopped short of the pit head, standing next to the abandoned forward drill head, the sleek, elegant black and chrome machine a long way removed from the old story book pickaxe and metal cart. Ahead the tunnel end in an uneven wall of rock that was indeed oozing with some sort of strange black liquid was forming a small pool on the floor. "That.... is pretty weird?" Jake muttered in disbelief, moving closer and letting his helmet light pan across the rocks and gelatinous gloop. It didn't shine like oil and it wasn't running so it wasn't just dark water but it looked pretty harmless. Moving closer he unclipped the fire torch from his belt and gave the torch a twist, bright white light flooded the tunnel. It was good as daylight banishing the gloom and making his skin shine under the layer of grime and sweat it'd picked up from the dust filled, humid air. Propping the torch up on a he pulled on a pair of industry standard latex gloves, pulling them to his elbows before turning to the business of collecting samples. Using one of his small tools he scraped up a sample of the black liquid and peered at it curiously. It was thick, gelatinous and oozed about the tool in a rather unsettling manner. Jake dropped the sample into one of the plastic vials he contained and took another three, storing each one safely in one of the little plastic test tubes. Once he was satisfied they were secure on his belt he unhooked a chisel and a small hammer then activated the recorder clipped to his vest. "Sample 01 to 03 of unknown liquid taken without incident. They appear as a thick gelatinous black liquid that seems to be oozing out of the rock. Temperature is," he tilted his wrist to look at his watch, "twenty nine degrees C, recommend full spectrographic work up is conducted in the laboratory. Moving in to see how porous rock surface has become due to seepage." Moving closer to the rock wall and the seeping black liquid Jake placed the chisel firmly against a patch of rock that seemed to have been less covered. The hammer blow was more of a light tap, a cursory experiment; the result was immediate and startling. The chisel sank into the rock as if it was made of sponge, the entire metal blade sinking out of sight as thick black liquid bubbled out of the rock in a thick wave. "Fuck," Jake cursed, letting go of the chisel and jerking backwards. He wasn't fast enough and some of the black goop squished against the sturdy rubber of his glove. Stripping it off hurriedly and abandoning it on the floor he backed away a few steps then froze as all around him the rock starting to groan and crack. After that split second of indecision he turned to flee but after half a foot his chances of escaping the tunnel came crashing down as the roof cracked and the floor pitched him off his feet. He had time for one terrified scream before darkness swept him away into oblivion as the earth convulsed to introduce the invading human to its displeasure. -0- Slightly cool, tacky liquid dripping down his cheek brought Jake out of his stupor. Slowly brushing a hand across the liquid oozing down his cheek the young miner slowly sat up, groaning at the way his head throbbed. Looking around with bleary eyes he was surprised he could see anything at all, blinking several times to focus his eye sight. The rocks were illuminated by a strange lavender glow. "What...." he stared in horror at the sight before him, the tunnel back to the elevator had collapsed. His last memory was of the ceiling opening and as he had feared the tunnel was filled with shattered rubble and giant slabs of rock. The air was hot, humid and his body was covered in a layer of sticky dust and sweat as he knew enough to realise that no air would be getting through that rock fall. Panting and trying not to panic Jake looked about for another way out, there had to be something he could do and that is when he saw it. The wall that had previously been oozing the slick black liquid had split open. There was now a narrow shaft leading off through the rock and in the distance a faint, purple glow that was the source of the odd lavender light. He glanced back one last time at the tumble of rocks and started moving toward the fissure. "Bugger it, I am not staying here." he growled to himself, pulling off the shattered remains of his miners head-torch and starting down the narrow crack toward the light. The passage was narrow, forcing him to go sideways and squeeze between the rock and doing so smeared the cool, gooey liquid across his chest and back. It clung in a horribly possessive way to his skin and the rough, cracked rock tugged on the fabric of his string vest, pulling it this way and that as it snagged on outcroppings he couldn't see. Tilting his head to keep the oozing liquid out of his eyes Jake persevered, the distant point of light was a sparkling temptation and he could put up with being covered in the thick, oozing mess as long as it led to safety or a way out. After five minutes Jake felt the remains of his string vest pull away from his skin, the tacky black liquid sliding over the walls of the tunnel and the jagged rocks finally combining to pull it off him. There were several tears in his overalls as well letting the sticky liquid ooze against the skin of his legs and even squish down into his boots. It was tacky, sticky and Jake could have sworn it was growing warmer as he sidled along but that light was still tempting him onwards with its promise of a way out. Minutes passed, the air grew thick with an odd scent, a mixture of plastic and something else but Jake was trying to ignore it. Clawing his way forwards as his head started to spin, twisting, turning, stumbling along the tunnel, trying to ignore the way the gooey, slick liquid seemed to be clinging to every part of his body. It seemed to be doing odd things to him, he could feel it squeezing, sliding, and teasing against his skin. It was as if it was alive but he dismissed it as a lack of oxygen playing tricks on him. Stumbling along, slipping and sliding between the gloopy mess he could have sworn one of his boots burst open. He could almost feel his foot curving and shifting even as the goop built up around his hands in a thick mitten. Shaking his head, panting heavily from the heavy, thick air Jake paused for a moment to press his foot against the ground. Both of them felt the same, like they were encased in a hard slick of slightly shifting goop. "Must... be... the gunk..." he mumbled to himself, pushing on, bending forward as his back started twisting and turning. Ignoring it as another hallucination he stumbled toward the light, gasping loudly and tripping at the end, sliding out of the fissure in the rock and sprawling on his back, all four legs pointed up into the air. Gulping down lungfuls of cool, clean air Jake twitched his knees and... other knees, his clearing mind registering that his elbows should not bend that way. Opening his eyes he squeaked in alarm at the image reflected back from the smooth, reflective surface cleverly placed above his body. He'd changed, the slick, thick, latex like gunk was still oozing and dripping across his smooth, shimmery, shiny hide but underneath he could see what he had become. Hooves tipped the end of each foot, a muzzle had pushed out of his face and his ears had slithered up to stand proud and tall on either side of his new, sleek, slick mohawk of a mane. As black and shiny as the gunk that had transformed him. He tried to look away, to find out where he was but his mind rebelled. For a blessedly cool moment his thoughts had been clear but now his mind was rejecting what it was seeing. He had the body of a stallion, smooth and sleek, a deep copper colour emerging as the black slime soaked into his new, shimmery, shiny hide. His mane was an impressive black, like an oil slick that glistened with a rainbow like sheen and equally impressive black fetlocks surmounted each of his shiny copper hooves. "I'm.... I'm...." he tried to mumble, his mind wandering, part of it was clamouring at him to panic, to reject what he was seeing but form was primary and he could feel himself slowly twisting, adjusting to accept the reality of this new body that he had been moulded into during his dark, breathless scramble for safety through the depths of the latex filled earth. "You are a fine stallion aren't you Delving Ore?" a rich feminine voice purred as another pony walked over to stand astride his body. Lying on his back, legs in the air and eyes focussed on his reflection Jake could only vaguely make out the smooth, shiny red body now standing above him. "Delving..." he murmured eyes still lost in the wonder of his reflection, more and more of his rich copper coloured body becoming visible as the black gunge from the mine tunnel continued to soak into his body, fading away, leaving smooth sleek coppery skin behind. "Oh yes...." the mare whickered softly, adjusting her body, one hoof lightly rubbing between Delving's hind legs, stimulating him with her warmth. "That's your name isn't it? You're one of my stallions, my big, strong, eager to please unicorn boy... isn't that right?" "Ye.... no! No I'm... I'm ooooooh," his moment of rebellion didn't last long, that hoof had found his sheath and was teasing over his cock. He was already half hard, some subconscious reaction to the warm tingling the slippery latex goop was having on his body as his transformation was completed. The pleasure, coupled with the unusual paradox of seeing himself in such a radically different body was having the desired effect. He was soon rock hard and whimpering as the sleek red mare continued to tease him. "Please...." he whickered, tossing his head from side to side, bending his front legs and looking up at her then back to his reflection, "I need.... something..." "Yes... I bet you do boy," she purred, settling herself down atop the newly formed stallions shaft. Expertly guiding him into her, warm, slick flesh clinging newly forged copper stallion flesh. "Say your name for me boy," she murmured, "Scream it out loud and enjoy your reward." Her body was moving and as the remnant of Jake's mind struggled to hold onto itself he found he could see her face. She was beautiful... the rich red sheen of her muzzle right above his was a perfectly gorgeous mirror. He could admire her beauty, groan in delight as she expertly coaxed his body into action and let his eyes and his mind stare into himself. Jake was losing the battle, the young miners mind receding beneath the personality and desires of Delving Ore as he started to buck and rock his body back and forth. Spluttering like a candle the former humans remaining memories guttered out and Delving's horn burst alight! It was as clear a signal as Snowball needed, her spell had been lock and complex but it had born delightful results. The slightly demonic red and shiny Pegasus pony cried out in delight and tossed her head back as her new stallion's true self asserted itself. He bellowed, bucking harder into her as she let herself, memories of her body, her personality and her name insinuate themselves into the newly emerging Stallion's mind. He was lost to her now, he belonged to her and with a deep, eager roar the newly created shimmery, shiny copper unicorn roared his name into the air even as he rode the pleasure laden wave of his first orgasm, giving himself wholly to her. "Delving Ore!" For a long, very enjoyable moment the two ponies where as one. The last patches of sticky black latex gently soaked into Delvings new shiny hide. After a few moments of just savouring the delight feeling and glow of their pleasure Chance gently but teasingly extricated herself from atop her new stallion. "Mmhmm that was fun." she nudged the panting, content looking horse beneath her. "Come along, we have a lot to do and you my boy.... have a long day of work ahead of you..." she grinned, watching the big stallion lumber up onto his hooves. He really was very fine, she nudged him with her flank and started to walk along, bat-like wings flapping gently as she walked. He was going to work out just fine, her plans could move forward now and there would be no annoying set-backs like last time. Her new minion didn't even come from Equestria so no one would miss him and come looking... this time... oh yes this time... she would win! ~fin
