The softs drips of blood could be heard throughout the nearly abandoned alleyway. Only a few rats stood witness to the lone figure that stumbled through the dimly lit area; watching them clutching their side in obvious pain.
Jelana winced greatly with every step as she tried to hold her insides in place, hoping vehemently that they would not try to seep out once more. Her blood soaked, clawed hand squeezed all the more as she pushed her self further into the alley. Her clothes ripped and shredded, barely hung on to her large, curvy form. Her goldenrod skin nearly laid bare for the whole world to see.
Her fangs and incisors continued to grind into each other with every agonizing step, as blood trickled out in small streams from her mouth, flowing over her pitch black lips. Her raptor like, yellow eyes were only a phantom of their former selves, their piercing gaze replace with a somber, docile look of baby fawn.
“T-those bastards! T-they had t-the gall!” She grunted out as her head continually played out the betrayal, refreshing the horrible memory in her mind once more with reprieve. Granted, the giant gash in abdomen wonders to help her mood as well.
She continued to stumble about the alley for a few more minutes, unsure of where exactly she was heading. She only wished to be as far away from the sanctimonious bastards of the Holy Arrow. And her now traitorous legion as well.
Before long, even her stamina and endurance had started to give out; she fell to her knees with a loud thud. She cried out at the impact, coughing up more blood as she nearly fell on her face. She could feel her intestine starting to shift in her hands, trying to escape once more. Yet, she held on to her girth with nearly supernatural strength; she knew if they came out, it would be over for her.
Her tentacle-like hair shifted a bit as she slowly shook her head, trying to clear her head of the agonizing pain that racked her body; hoping to gain some measure of focus again.
“I… I have to… stop the… bleeding…” She told herself, trying to build up her nearly bottomed morale. “You…will not.. die here… tonight. Now… focus!”
Jellaba forced herself off the ground with a loud, painful groan; her back slumping onto a nearby brick wall. She panted heavily as she held a hand in front of her, focusing all of her attention on the center of her palm.
“C’mob… focus Jelana…. You’ve.. Done this.. So many time already… Just a small ball… you can…. Do this..”
A few moments passed as she continued to chant theses words over and over again like a small prayer. She had begun to lose hope, as her vision began to darken; numerous black spots threatened to engulf her vision and her fading mind. Until, without warning, a small purple orb flickered to life in her hands; it was barely the size of golfball, yet the monster spawnling looked at it with bloody smile.
“I..knew … you didn’t… want to …. Die yet.” She whispered as she spoke to the small orb, watching it float above her hand as it radiated an unnatural heat.
“Now the… hard part is…over,” she stated somberly as she prepared herself for the next part.
She controlled her breathing, taking deep breaths slowly as she calmed herself. The moment her body had finally calmed down, her hand with the orb pushed itself into the open wound.
“AAAAGGHHHHH!!!!!!”
Her inhuman cry echoed throughout the alley, reverberating across the entire block as the smell of acrid, burnt flesh filled her mouth. The taste of her charred flesh wafted into her mouth, past the feeble defenses of her teeth; making her gag heavily as the purple flame continued to sear into her flesh, bind the open wound with a heavy scar.
By the time the fire had completed it’s jobs, Jelana had nearly passed out. She sank to the floor slowly, her ample bosom heaving heavily as she skin continued to smoke and waft with it’s horrible taste. She looked down at her handiwork and smiled widely. The wide gash had been replaced with a large patch of burnt, charred skin; it’s wavy like texture even more grotesque to look at.
She looked up into the sky and watch the nearly pitch black blanket with only passing interest. She had looking for anything to take her mind off the horrible pain that still racked her body. And just as she began to fall unconscious, he had but on thought on her mind.
“Well, isn’t this…. A lovely evening.”
