Psi stretched along the lounge chair in the backyard without a care in the world. The sun was beaming down with a vengeance that afternoon, and sleeping in the sun felt like a welcome change of pace from the drudgery of work. As the sun baked the slate- and chocolate-colored ferret’s fur, he idly kicked his feet along the bottom of the chair, laying back as much as the furniture would allow. Finally, after many days of work, the lanky mustelid was able to relax. As he dreamt, he wondered why his friend Vesryn wasn’t out back with him. He had invited him over a few hours prior, but while Psi was more than content to relax out in the open, Vesryn seemed a bit more preoccupied by other things in the house. It could have been the air conditioner being on at full blast, or maybe a few games the ferret recently picked up happened to appeal to the ample-bottomed kangaroo more than hanging out. In the end, it didn’t matter all that much. At least Vesryn was spending the afternoon, and he would eventually wake up and toss some food on the barbecue for them both. What Psi didn’t realize was that his compatriot was a little bit more interested in cooling off more than anything else. The icy chill of the central air in the house was nice, but it couldn’t beat the refreshment a large pool would provide. Still, as much as Psi would have adored to have one, he had no swimming facilities at his house, unless the bathtub counted. Given the kangaroo’s size, from especially-muscled legs that looked as if they were chiseled out of dark Italian marble stretching towards an elongated tail and built torso, he’d be lucky if he could lay down in the tub without propping his legs outside of it. No, that wouldn’t be refreshing at all. Fully assured that Psi had passed out, the roo hopped quickly from the back door over to the chair. He took one last look around the entirety of the yard, trying to size it up, before he started to chant in a whisper. The violet fur that adorned his fingers, the tips of his toes, ears, tail, and even chest tuft started to emit a warm glow against the rest of his onyx fur. With his left arm outstretched he waved it over Psi’s hips, waving it slowly down to his ruddy-brown footpaws. Vesryn flicked his index finger upward on his free other hand, making sure to levitate his friend. Who knew how long that lawn chair was going to last, anyway? Despite being fast asleep, Psi could still feel the faint sensation of a tingle deep in his dream. He equated it to one of the horrors of fighting a massive battalion of ants, feeling them crawl all over him as he fought with all of his might. Thankfully for him, he knew he was dreaming, so his body remained mostly still as he started to conjure up his own weaponry to assist him in his nocturnal battle. In reality, the tingling sensation was mostly caused by his muscles and weight slowly expanding underneath his fur. From this waist and all points below he was growing all the more gargantuan, putting on tens of pounds every passing second, all thanks to Vesryn. The marsupial couldn’t help but bite his lip as he saw that Psi’s genitals were also growing at an expanded rate, so much so that the small thong of a bathing suit his friend was sporting couldn’t handle all of the ever-growing bulge within. By the time it burst forth the ferret was quite erect, but more so than usual. Instead of being the size of a phone he was easily reaching the size and girth of a massive baseball bat. His testicles fared just as well, throbbing and pulsating just as much as the rest of him as they quickly hit watermelon size. Their rapid growth threatened to outside the rest of his growth eventually, but at the moment it was just fine. Vesryn marveled at those beefy legs of Psi’s. Stiffling his enjoyment was quite difficult to do when the ferret’s thighs and calves were as thick as an old-growth redwood tree, and still putting on pounds as well. He relaxed a bit when he saw that the legs were starting to slow down in their growth, watching in amazement as, from his bubbly ass on down, he was almost as long as the entirety of his house. All of the excess weight caused the ferret to slowly press the earth beneath him down, compressing it all the more. Whatever his newfound heft couldn’t do on its own, the kangaroo was more than happy to provide. After gently setting his friend onto the ground, he used another quick incantation to make sure that he could exert enough magical force on Psi’s lower half to start sinking him deep into the ground. Minutes passed before Vesryn’s arm started to throb in exhaustion. He let up for a moment and took a few steps close to get a better look of what he had accomplished. The spells worked perfectly, so long as one didn’t count the slight genital-related mishap. With his lower half sitting around ten feet below the ground, everything seemed perfect enough. The fact that the ferret’s creamy chest still was a good three feet above ground was a great sign as well; After filling the impromptu hole/pool with water, Psi would be well above water and absolutely safe. With just a few more spells to go, Vesryn leapt right into action. His powerful tail swayed behind him as he put some temporary magical sealant around the sides of the pool, especially underneath the ferret. It was mostly for precautionary measures, so as not to have the hole collapse in on him accidentally. The fact that the bottom layer happened to adhere to his friend’s fur was an added bonus. Last, but not least, his last spell quickly filled the newly-made ditch with cool, crisp water, filling it up in seconds. After working so hard to create the pool it would be a waste to spend the rest of the day and night trying to fill it with a garden hose, all things considered. As the added liquid started to lower his body temperature, Psi awoke with quite a start. The sight in front of him made him question whether or not he was still dreaming within a dream, but a quick glance in Vesryn’s direction made him think otherwise. There was always something in that one particular smile of his that made Psi know that the kangaroo was guilty of something. His legs were a dead giveaway, for sure. “Oh, I can’t WAIT to hear what possessed you to do THIS!” The ferret couldn’t help but shout at the top of his lungs. A little advance warning would have been nice. “In my defense,” Vesryn calmly replied, taking a seat by the side of the new pool before slipping his clothed self right on in, “building this would have cost you several thousand dollars. I just saved you a whole bunch of money!” The ferret could only bring his palm up to his face and shake his head in seeming disapproval. “And would you care to explain why I can’t move my legs in the slightest bit?” “Structural integrity, really. Can’t really have you getting out of there before it all sets in a few hours, that’s all. I fully plan on keeping you company in the interim!” “Care to explain my dick then, Mr. Wizard?” The kangaroo chuckled to himself before he slipped underwater. He had quite the stunning view of the thing down there, seeing that it expanded to the point where it was around two feet wide, save for a foot on either side of the beast. The head of Psi’s staff rubbed up against the top of his feet as well, practically the length of his driveway, and the roo could swear that the ferret’s balls were practically the size of a small room in his house. They were squished a bit underneath his shaft, probably bringing on the bit of ire in his voice. “Well,” Vesryn laughed as he popped his head out along the surface of the tantalizing water, “let’s just chalk that one up to a slight mistake. I’m sure it’ll be fine in time for dinner!” “You’d bet that ribeye steak I bought you on it? Because you do realize you’re now cooking for the both of us since I can’t get out for hours.” “It’s the least I could do,” Vesryn nodded as he swam a bit over to the side to grip along the edge. “After a lot of swimming and spending time with you, of course.” “That’s sweet, but I’m still pretty damned upset with you.” “Really? That hurts! Remember, I just gave you a pool rather than, say, a Jacuzzi. Please think about how it benefits both of us before I chant a little bit more and get the latter instead. With extra-large bubbles, if you catch my drift.” It didn’t take much imagination to know what Vesryn had on his mind. “Oh, will you look at that! You did such an amazing job on this entire thing!” “Why, thank you, Psi! By the way…HEADS UP!” Being particularly playful, the roo whipped both of his arms forward just right beneath the surface of the water and sprayed Psi’s upper body with a gigantic wave of water. Thoroughly soaked, and in much higher-spirits than before, the mustelid was all too happy to splash back with all of his might, reminding him quite thoroughly why he used to be such a menace in pools. The hours passed by with ease, but at least both of them had the relaxing day they were both wishing for all along.
