####Tac
Where were you when the titans broke, and metal burned from the skies?
("At peace, at home," we immortals said, disguising our truths as lies.)
Where were you when the light-shrouds fell, with a clash of ringing and iron?
When the glitter-beams jumped from husk to husk with a fury of fire and ruin?
And where were you when the twinkle-jets blazed: "forth!" on pillars of smoke?
And when all that remained and all that could die was the remnants of great men's hope?
So where were you when the night turned orange and so many of our other-selves died?
(I know you saw; I know that's to be mentioned with pride.)
At peace. At home.
Smiling. Unsurprised.
