Your encounter with Delilah will involve several choices that will influence the story-line, with some routes dependent upon randomly-selected conditions. Some actions you take will increase (or decrease) how Delilah regards you - treat her nice, and nice things are more likely to happen (and vice-versa).
No two encounters will be the same!

This build will run in both Windows and Linux environments.

Installation Instructions:
=========================

1. Download the story archive (ZIP file) from Google Drive to your local machine (select the "Download" icon on the right-hand-side of your screen).

2. Using your local file manager, navigate to the folder/directory you downloaded the archive to, then extract the story archive contents into a convenient local folder/directory. *All the items in the archive must be unzipped for the story to work* - the .exe (for Windows) and the .sh (for Linux) needs the entire unzipped folders to work as that's where all the story assets (scripts, images etc) are stored.

3. Using your local file manager, open the local folder/directory you saved the story files to.

4a. To start the story (Windows users), double-click "ADateWithDelilah.exe".
 * If you are running a 32-bit version of Windows, double-click "ADatewithDelilah-32.exe".

4b. To start the story (Linux users), double-click "ADatewithDelilah.sh". You may need to select "Run" from a subsequent dialogue box depending upon your distribution.
 * I highly recommend creating a launcher on your desktop for the story. For Linux Mint, right-click on the desktop and select "Create a new launcher here", then enter the details. For any other distribution including Ubuntu... sorry, you're on your own.

Troubleshooting:
===============

Q1. "I double-click on the .exe file and nothing happens."
A1. You have probably tried to open the zip file directly on Google Drive. The zip file needs to be downloaded and all the contained files extracted *to your local machine* for the story to work.

Q2. "I am a member of 'Team Mac', and I can't get the story to work."
A2. Sorry Mac users, apparently I need an actual Mac to compile a specific version for you. You can try opening "ADatewithDelilah.py" and see if it works, or try running the Windows version in an emulator. I know nothing about Macs, so take this advice with a large chunk of the old sodium chloride.
