The Chronicles of The Leviathan Ch 1
I was 14 when it first happened. I had no idea what was going on, but I knew that something grand was taking place. I was dreaming about the same stuff I always dreamed about, not caring about anything. Then I woke up to notice I was no longer in the body of a human, but rather that of some dragon-like creature. I rubbed a hand or should I say paw on my face or should I say muzzle to feel my new form. I then heard a voice.

“Corey! Time for breakfast.” Said my Mother. Great, now what do I do I thought to myself. I tried to escape from my house through the window when she came to the door. Knocking she said “Corey! Come on, it's time to eat”

“Not now mom, I'm not hungry.” I said in a much deeper voice then normal. “Corey, who's that, did you bring a guy to the house last night” She then opened the door and saw my new form trying to get out of the window. “What happened to my baby?” She cried, beating me with her hand.

“Mom, mom, mom, it's me. I don't know what happened last night okay, but this is what I am now.” I said giving her a hug. “Baby!” I nodded. She started crying, as I hugged her. “Look, whatever happens to you, I'll always love you. But don't go out that window.” I let out a tear. “But baby, you're going to have to try to turn back once school starts okay. You can't go there looking like this.”

My mother gave me a kiss on the cheek before asking me what I wanted for dinner. I told her I still wasn't hungry. But before I could stop hugging her I noticed a katana on my bed which read L-E-V-I-A-T-H-A-N in Hebrew. I decided from now on, I'd call myself that to all those who met me as long as I was in this form.

Suddenly a creature not much unlike my new form appeared. I  then threw my mom out of my arms and grabbed for the sword. Before I and him were thrown out the window. I punched him three times before I was thrown to the ground. My mom got up from a daze and saw the sword. I was bleeding profusely from my head due to repeated blows before I saw a glimmer in my eye. The sword was right there next to me I reached for it and sliced threw the creatures spine. Then everything went black.
