Blight already knew she was not going to enjoy this. The air in the city was cold this evening. She watched as the sun slowly disappears from the sky, the last bit of red light manages to squeeze through before darkness took over its reign in the city. And yet she didn't came up for the view. Nope, she was standing around, five floors above street level. looking at a large warehouse that had closed up several hours earlier. She knew of only two reasons why she was sent here. One would be that her current mentor, Evernight, thought that this place might hold a clue to his investigation. There has been a recent expansion of hi-tech weaponry appearing on the streets in recent weeks. It makes sense to her that whoever is selling the guns would store them in an warehouse. Then there was option two. That would be 'training', the very word made her hold her arms and shiver in dread. Blight had joined up with Evernight only a few weeks before. She remembered specifically seeking him out with the desire to be train by him. all the best female heroes had been Nozamas from the reflected universe, Queen Ultra, Shine, Little Star and more had been trained by him. But none would ever talk about their time with him unless it was related to a specific villain or case file. Even when she pressed them they would not reveal much other than it was not the wisest choice of their lives and that the man was almost a bad guy in his own right but they all acknowledged they were the top Supers in the world because of him. And so she sought him out and busted up a gang he was going to make a move on, then stopped a fire in a chemical lab whilst he watched and a dozen other smaller feats of skill, she approached him soon after and reluctantly he accepted her as his new 'sidekick' but his words rung in her ears even now. "I warn you young one. My ways are harsh. They have broken many 'heroines' in more ways than hanging up the mask, but should you pass, you will be a paragon to the world." Back then that had just made her smile wide. She thought that she could handle anything he could throw at her. A few days later, she 'found' some extremely detailed files in the file cabinet that clearly fell out. She was planning to put in back in all honesty!. A quick look showed that the files had information that he kept on the training of the other heroines... Wait, what? She had to read more. As she was reading through, she remembers hearing rumours that he came close to becoming a villain himself. Early on, she asked him if they were true. He freely admitted he was a demon from the underworld who had been exiled because he preferred justice to evil, he simply wore a human shell for his day to day activities. Despite that reassurance, she felt nervous until she looked over those files. It seems that even though he's not evil, he was still a demon she found out very quickly that he was a pervert for the most part his training normally consisted of some form of bondage or humiliation normally in dangerous situations. One file she recall with detail was about Queen Ultra. She had walked right into the trap he had set when he first tested her. Queen Ultra is conceder to be indestructible, complete with super strength, with a variety of other powers to boot that she would breeze thought whatever he threw at her and against most bad guys she did. She did not however expect a large magnetic piston presser to come hurtling down on top of her. attracted to the plate on the floor she stood on. Naturally, she stopped it with her strength but found that she could not push it away with the magnetic forces in play about her, everyone's played with magnets and knows that the magnet forces can create sudden movements towards each other, with her stuck right in the middle of that force. An effective trap, but nothing that would make you arch an eyebrow. Even if she did let it go it would not kill her, hurt like hell yes, but she wouldn't die from it. Heck, she still had other powers she could call on to get out of that mess. However that was her big weakness. She couldn't use more than two powers at one time (at least back then) and at the time it was her strength and invulnerability she was using just to hold up the damn machine. She waited almost two hours standing there with the magnets pressing against her and she was exhausted from the effort she had never kept her powers going for more than 30 minutes under duress and it got worse when her former partner (who name was redacted). showed up from an anonymous 'tip'. I heard that things didn't end happily between the two. He must have wanted some payback. He had the power of magnetism himself and he pressed on her just a little harder to make sure she was securely in place. He stripped her of her costume and tore it to long thin strips. He proceeded to tie Queen Ultras' legs together follow by binding the arms straight upwards so that she still holds up the presser. Once that was done, he gave her a cleave gag to keep her from shouting. He then went and tested the limits of her 'indestructibility' with spanks, gropes and improvised whips from the remains of Queen Ultras' costume. He even forced her to cum for him which made her buckle to her now bound knees and almost crush them both with the press. Getting a clue on how far he was taking this, he didn't go any further. He was able to put the passed-out Queen Ultra beside the presser and left, but not before retying her arms and chest into a box tie. As soon as he left, Evernight appeared out of nowhere and untied Queen Ultra. He then carried her back to his lair without incident. He was later caught and gotten an severe beating by Queen Ultra, then again later in the week by Evernight no one's really sure which one put him in hospital. The next one Blight found was about Little Star a young petite redhead with light energy powers. Some goons had tried to knock out power to the whole city. This including a hospital where critically injured civilians were being treated and would die without the power. Her idea was to hooked herself up to the power plant and use her powers to maintain power, hopefully long enough until the plant itself gets fixed. At one point, just as it was about to fail, she put in everything she had. But right away, right where she was standing, a large pole had rose from the floor between her legs and began to vibrate. The more juice she pushed into the city the more powerful it was and vice-versa. However the people repairing the plant were stretched thin and demanded more power from her while they get systems online since they couldn't guess where power would cut out if she didn't give it her all. From the reports she had stood there for almost five hours with her powers on full burn. She was not seen for a few weeks after that and it was assumed that she gone back to a normal life. She was seen a month or so later with Evernight, somehow more powerful than before, no matter how much the bad guys beat on her she didn't give in to them and it didn't really seem to faze her at all. Something that surprised everyone because she's not usually the most agile fighter. She later found out the pole was meant to rise up past her and lock in place to show the reactors safeties were on. Blight could think of dozens of other case files that she had flicked through while her mentor-their mentor she meant, was off doing his own business in the city. Now all alone in this isolated location, without any back-up she can see, she cannot help and wonder if she is walking into the same trap that Queen Ultra and Little Star went through. Before she got up, a thought occur to her. She can back out, right now, she can walk away. No one will blame her. But then, she remembers all the effort she has put in to become a hero, how she found Evernight, the training regiments, the frustrations, the joys she had doing this job. So with a smile, she made her decision. She stood tall, shook it off and waved her hand in front of her. In a flurry of shadow and glowing magic she was on the roof of the warehouse and opening the window to the skylight before she could give herself time to back out. She dives in, preparing for whatever is inside. She's ready. She's a hero. She is Blight.
