Digging through antique trash. Yup, Jeff decided, subscribing to the Eco newsletter had been a good idea. This was just the kind of mindless but productive vacation he needed: relaxing while doing his bit to help advance the sciences of archeology and anthropology. When he found its translation, the name of the site made it even more interesting. Now he was sure it would be a better choice than counting sharks in Malaysia. 

Getting away for a couple of weeks from bits, bytes and demanding physicists would be a welcome change on its own.

Next to decide on what to pack, although their suggestions looked quite reasonable, and then maybe some preventive personal hygiene. The notes about the local insect life were just a little scary. He'd never tried depilation before; maybe he'd try getting rid of his facial hair, too, while he was at it. Supposedly it'd be easily reversible when he got back. It'd better be!
