# Chapter 1: What They Taught us in School "You cheating bastard! I go on vacation with my family for ONE week and you can't keep it in your pants? I trusted you, you scum sucking ass!" Rain struggled in the grip of the girl holding her, "Let me go! Let me claw up his pretty little face! He doesn't deserve it!" "Jessica's really there for me. You just wouldn't understand me like she does. I feel like we connect on an emotional level that you and I never did." Eric, a strong and proud linebacker for the football team-- a handsome wolf with black fur and amber eyes, held the waist of a pretty young civet close to him. Rain's fury would singe the fur right off the boy were it to manifest. The rage-- not least powered by teenage hormones-- was strong enough to change the atmosphere of the hallway. The tiny razors in her fingertips lusted for the wolf's blood to atone for his infidelity. "Rain! It's not going to do you any good. You know the teachers will throw you out if you get in a fight. Don't let some douchebag screw up your record!" Her feline friend, May, kept hold of that arm with all her might. "He's not worth it!" "Easy for you to say!" She snarled, "You don't even have a boyfriend. You don't know what I had to trust this fucker with!" This wasn't true-- May was one of Rain's friends, and the two of them talked about boys as much as they talked about school, movies, and other things that caught their attention. She knew precisely what was between them. It was true that May didn't have a boyfriend. The girl, with her kinked tail, cut ear, and claw scars, had been damaged goods no one wanted to touch. The words stung-- May's eyes scrunched shut as she considered just letting the vixen go and get herself suspended. But she didn't. She was better than that. Eric waved a paw, "Rain, I know you're mad, but you just have to find the right person for you. I've got what I need in Jesse here." The wolf's massive paw rested atop the girl's head, stroking along her slinky back. She seemed to shiver a little, submissive. And perhaps that was the reason-- Rain wouldn't take Eric's shit. Perhaps this one would. "I hope you find someone that makes you happy." He walked off with his companion, holding her tight and cupping one of her rump cheeks as the two headed on to their next class. Rain's eyes almost looked like they would pop out of their sockets. It took almost a full minute before she calmed down enough for May to feel safe letting her go. Her eyes welled up with tears, and she started to sniffle. The wolf had taken everything from her-- her dignity in this public display-- her virginity in a private moment, and the last shred of respect he had for her when he had the gall to patronize her on the way out. May reached a paw up to stroke over the vixen's ears. She resisted at first, but eventually let herself be consoled. "May... I'm... I'm sorry for what I said. He just... I want to kill him..." "Easy girl," May hugged her friend, "We can talk about it later. The next class is coming up, yeah?" She took the vixen by the paw, "Come on. We don't need another tardy slip." --- Objectively, the amount of anxiety teenagers go through for an event like the high school prom is beyond ridiculous. A bunch of kids who will grow up, move away, and rarely see each other again, obsessing over a single night of dancing and pretty clothes. But to a young girl, it is far more than that. Rain's social standing, her self-worth-- a great deal rode on this. Why? Why trouble over what some boy thought? Why bother with what her classmates thought? She was a social creature, and despite what Public Service Announcements might say, her identity could not be exclusively self-housed. A person, she believed, was as much who they saw themselves to be as who others saw them to be. Everyone had a place in society. And at the moment, hers was a single girl on the night before prom. This was especially bad due to her family's standing. The Vulcrests did not lack for material wealth. They owned more than their fair share of land, slaves, and investments. The girl stood in only a pair of jeans in front of a mirror here. She cupped her breasts, looking in the mirror. Were they too small? Was she not pretty enough? No, her form, though toned and svelte, was properly endowed. Her father was good looking, and his wealth allowed him to pick a delightful beauty as his bride. Rain's makeup could be nothing but stunning, and so it was. She kicked a stuffed rabbit into a corner, seeing it by her feet reminded her of him and the night he gave it to her. The bastard left her alone-- and with the 'bro code' the males followed, no one was going to sweep her up at the last minute and take her out. No, rebounding the school prince's ex girlfriend was asking for trouble. She looked at the mirror again, and saw her breasts tremble. Further up, and her fur was wet. She had been sniffling and crying, and she hadn't even realized it. A knock came at the door, and she jumped a little. "Who--- who is it?" "Miss Rain, I heard what sounded like distress. Are you alright?" One of the slave boys. They weren't even supposed to talk to her. Rain rubbed her face, angry someone was listening in on her, and she walked over to the door, about to open it a crack to give him an earful when an idea gripped her. "Come in," she called, a much smaller wolf than Eric opening the door and making his way inside. Submissive, he naturally looked at the floor until he got in. His eyes went wide, seeing the vixen's full breasts in front of him. "Miss Rain, I-- I should go, I..." The vixen raised a paw, silencing the slave. "You will close that door, or else I will tell father how you came to my door without permission and tried to rape me." She knew this was mean, but she did find enjoyment in teasing the slave boys. She never had any particular interest in them-- it's not like they had anything to offer a girl of her stature, but it was so decadent to have one of them give her a foot massage and a fruit smoothie while she talked about her boyfriend and the sex they were having. The way they squirmed was just delicious. "Y-yes, ma'am." The runt of a wolf trembled, making an audible gulp. Rain walked around him, looking him over. "Take off your clothes." The wolf looked distressed, but quickly complied, knowing better than to defy the master's daughter, especially with her threat looming overhead. Despite being an apparent runt, the boy's muscles were tight coords. Manual labor had made him strong. His toned body was like a Michelangelo sculpture, though scarred on his back from the occasional whipping. "You know, when your clothes are off, you look kind of handsome. I always thought you were just a puny little mutt." Rain teased the boy, tugging on one of his ears as her eyes widened at the sight below. The boy's sheath was swollen, the tip of his shaft poking out like the girl's lipstick. It was her turn to blush. "Calm down, boy. You're not going to mount anything tonight. Don't forget your place." She pressed her finger into the boy's left pectoral, where he had been branded as property of the Vulcrest family. "Tomorrow night, you will come to my chamber cleaned and brushed. You will bring one of my father's suits, altered to fit you. Have one of the girls do it." The wolf looked alarmed at that idea, and tried to speak up, but the vixen pressed her finger to the tip of his muzzle, "If you speak a word of this to anyone, I shall have you castrated. And a similar fate will happen to the seamstress if her tongue wags." The wolf shivered, not wanting to be so tormented, nor to have one of his friends spayed. He slowly nodded, "Yes, Ma'am. I shall be here." The wolf asked, a bit of fear in his voice, "M-may I put my clothes back on and return to my duties?" The vixen smiled, "In five minutes. Stand in place there, don't move, and watch me." The boy looked confused, but did as he was asked, looking at the vixen, and trying not to stare at her exposed breasts. Rain would have none of that. She cupped her breasts, laying back on her bed, and rolling them around in her paws. She winked at the boy, and slipped a paw under the hem of her pants. The wolf couldn't help but notice, his shaft poking out of his sheath, swelling as every second of temptation passed. He couldn't touch her-- she would tell. He could only stand there and take in the sight of her. Rain's fingertips traced along her outer folds, the girl's hips pressing into her own touch. The girl's jeans concealed her precise actions, but the boy knew damn well what she was doing. He fidgeted a little, slipping one of his paws around his cock. "Did I say you could touch yourself?" She growled at him, eyes narrowed. The wolf whimpered, and pulled his paw away, back to his side. Pre slipped out of his slit, and ran down the length of his wolfhood. Rain took delight in seeing him burn like this, and she plunged her fingers into her sex, teasing along her walls and squirming atop the sheets. "Mmmnn!" She huffed, looking up at him, "Do you like what you see, wolf?" The boy's eyes were tearing up-- there he was, mere feet from her. He could take hold of her, hold her down, fuck her into oblivion-- but he would be killed. "Pl-lease, Miss Rain, may I go back--" "I said, 'Do you like what you see?'" Her fangs bared at the boy while she jackhammered those digits deep within her flower. The scent of it made everything worse for the wolf, pheromones challenging him in every respect. Heart racing, tongue dry-- the desire strong. "Y-yes..." He admitted, as his bulb started swelling, ensuring his erection would last for quite some time. And just as it filled up, the girl's back arched and she pressed her muzzle into her pillow, giving a muffled cry as the crotch of her jeans became wet. The girl slumped back down on the bed, and she raised a footpaw, gesturing with her toes. "Go on. Get dressed and back to your pen." The boy scrunched his eyes and got straight to work throwing his clothing back on. No relief, his cock tented those pants and left him burning. He ambled right out the door, giving only enough time for a 'Yes ma'am' in the process. Rain hugged her pillow with a smirk on her muzzle. Aside from the afterglow of her climax, she was ecstatic that she had found a date to the prom. She just hoped no one would figure out where she got him. --- "Don't leave my side without permission." The vixen looked up and down the well dressed wolf. "Don't check out or flirt with other girls." She pressed a fingertip right against the boy's nosepad, "I expect you to act like the gentleman boys claim to be, not as they are." The wolf nodded, taking the instructions down mentally. He was quite a bit nervous, and wondered if he should run and tell the master. But how would he even get a word in before he was struck down for stealing the master's suit? Any vague opportunity he had to get out of this was already gone. Rain looked him over once more, straightening out his clothes and running a lint roller over his suit to catch some of the fur that would doubtless return a few minutes later. "Ah, almost forgot..." The vixen slipped her arms around his neck, and undid the fastener of his collar, slipping it away, "That would have been an embarrassing give-away..." She narrowed her eyes, looking at the indentation in his fur. "Still is. Hmm." The vixen slipped the collar into a drawer, and started to scriffle along the boy's neck. "Hold still." Rain worked her claws along in until the indentation was minimized. Not quite satisfied, She tugged up the collar of his undershirt, tucking his fur underneath. "Be mindful of that. I don't want anyone figuring us out." She was wearing a pretty aqua-blue dress. It gave the perfect contrast to her orange fur, and it was well tailored by the slave girls to fit her precisely. Every curve was hugged, though the skirt hid some of the exciting lower ones. Her breasts, of course, were covered, but you could still see how big they were by the hugging of the material. She had no need for dress gloves-- the black on her forepaws was enough for that. "Daddy's out, so we should be able to sneak away without any problems." She took his paw and squeezed it, "Now lead me to the car and have the driver take us to the school." The wolf nodded, and started to take the two down the stairs. "I need to know your name. Don't want to look like you're some male prostitute I just picked up." Though, he sort of was. The wolf's blue eyes flickered in the setting sun. "I am called Malachi." The vixen raised an eyebrow, "Mal-A-Kai? You slaves sure know how to name each other." Malachi nodded, "Yes, ma'am. We do." --- The car pulled up to the front of the school, the tires rolling to a stop as loose bits of pavement crackled under their pressure. "When shall I pick you up, Miss Vulcrest?" "Ten O'clock. Don't be late." The vixen's eyes narrowed, and Malachi stepped out of the car, running around to open the door for his date. He offered his paw, which the vixen took with a grin. Yes, that's the sort of gentleman he was supposed to be. The driver took off back to the mansion, and the wolf started to lead the vixen into the school. "I'm not sure where we're going. Is there a room we're looking for?" "The auditorium is to the left when we walk in. By the way, you're a wealthy young son of a manufacturing Tycoon from the next county, got it?" Malachi nodded at her words, thinking of how to sort this story, should he be asked. The lights were dim, the decorations were flashy-- metallic ribbons alongside the school colors tied into bows and streamers. The disc jockey had some faster paced music on as the students began to mingle. "Go get me some punch and one of the cookies." She licked her lips, looking at the refreshments, and then around the room to try to spot some of her friends. Malachi ambled over to the punch table, and dipped the ladle into the red liquid, starting to pour it into a cup. He was startled when a girl slipped up to him and stared. "Malachi... what are you doing here?" May looked at the wolf, her muzzle open a bit. She knew Rain's slaves better than the vixen did, sympathizing with them. "M-Miss May, I didn't realize you'd be here..." His voice dropped down to a whisper, "Rain has asked me to accompany her to this dance." The cat tugged on what remained her her bitten ear, "Geez. Doesn't she know what will happen if someone catches---" She quieted up, seeing Jessica approach. "Well, well. Look at you, May. How'd a mess like you manage to score this one?" She gave a superior sort of glare at her. "I... I didn't..." Her eyes lowered a little, "He's Rain's date." The civet reached over and grabbed May's hair. "That's not possible. Tell the truth, May. Who is he, you lying little shit?" The wolf's heart raced as he took hold of Jessica's paw and loosed it from May's head with a growl, "I'm Rain's date. This girl hasn't lied to you, and she isn't some slave to be grabbed." His heart raced within his chest. He had _never_ scolded a free person before. Slaves who talked like this did not last long. "Yeah? And just who are you?" The civet gave him a look that dripped with acid. He looked right back into her eyes. "My name is Malachi. I'm from the next county over. My father owns a manufacturing business." "Which one?" Jessica's eyes narrowed. The wolf was saved from his response as Rain sauntered over, seeing things start to get out of hand. "Malachi, do you have the punch and cookie?" She hugged the boy's arm, breasts pressing to it. Malachi's ears turned a little pink. "Yes, Rain. Right here." Rain nearly got angry at him for not using the title 'Miss', but then remembered what they were doing. "Thank you, darling." She took a bite of the cookie, and started sipping the punch. Jessica stormed off with a huff. "She is not a very polite girl, is she?" Malachi's muzzle turned into a frown. "Not at all." May looked at Rain. "And you-- what were you thinking?" It took a moment for Rain to realize that May had recognized the boy. A look of worry got in her eyes, "Don't tell anyone. Ok? You know what could happen if you do." May nodded her head, ears flattening. She knew. "Now for something a little sweeter," The DJ announced, "This is a dance, and love should be in each step." He spun up a slower song, the melody weaving into the atmosphere of the auditorium. > Oh, what I wouldn't give to live as you live. Jessica and Eric held each other close, the big wolf hugging the civet to his burly chest as they went into a waltz. Their steps were perfect, and their timing spot on. > To stand by your side, and take things in stride. Malachi and Rain were not so lucky. While Rain knew how to dance, her slave had never been taught the art-- who would need to teach him that? He struggled trying to keep up, but the two of them started to look really silly on the dance floor. Their ears were flushed. "Maybe we should sit this one out, Malachi..." Rain looked a bit frustrated at the whole thing. > But it is my lot, don't give it a thought. Jessica's eyes wandered, and she spotted the two stumbling around. She whispered something to Eric, whose countenance changed at once. He stormed off toward the two, and then pushed Malachi's shoulder, "You touched my girl!" > To sit on these stairs, and watch you from there. Technically, he had done so, to protect May. "I have not disrespected your girl, sir." He said, trying to stay civil. "You calling her a lier? She said you grabbed her and forced her around." The smaller wolf's eyes narrowed, "I did. To remove her from May, who she was attacking." "He's lying!" Jessica shouted, growling at him. The smaller wolf's voice grew. So far this night, he'd been the most free he'd ever been, and he was feeling a little bold. "Your girl is lying to you, and using you as a club to beat people she doesn't like. Wise up. She's using you." Rain's eyes widened. Her muzzle gaped a little as she heard those words. The wolf was insightful and... she was very impressed. "Let's take this outside, fuckwad." The larger wolf pushed Malachi toward the door, a few people following to see this upcoming fight. Rain and May ambled after them, the two looking worried. "Don't hurt him, Eric!" The vixen shouted, knowing that the wolf could really rough the boy up. Not only was she just starting to respect the kid, but she also didn't want to bring home a broken slave and have to explain him. Eric rolled up one of his sleeves, "I'm going to give you a--" WHAM! RIIP! Malachi surprised the wolf with a blow to the side of his head, causing him to stumble backward, and become a bit dizzy. Malachi's suit was not intended to be used while fighting. And it was starting to come apart. Rain bit her lip, knowing that her father would notice, and as Eric stumbled forward to take a swing at the smaller wolf, Malachi dodged and elbowed him in the side, knocking him over with a thud. Eric was too disoriented to make a proper strike. As his eyes began to focus, he got a good look at the smaller wolf. "No way..." Malachi's jacket had ripped at the shoulder... and there, in plain view of Eric, was his chest, and the branding. Malachi quickly realized what Eric had seen, and pulled his ripped shoulder up. He ran and grabbed Rain by the paw and started to run with her. "Come on! We've got to go!" Rain's eyes flashed wide as she started running with him. "But... but you won! And he deserved it!" The vixen looked over her shoulder, and saw the big wolf start to get back up. But as soon as he did, other students tugged him and Jessica inward. It was time to crown the prom king and queen. "Look, they're even pulling him away. There's nothing to fight over anymore." He pulled her into the tree line, slipping toward a clearing. Their natural night vision kept them from getting too lost. "That fellow saw my brand." Rain's eyes widened, "Shit." She looked down at her feet, "I guess you have to run, then. I... Malachi, I'm sorry. I know they'll kill you if you don't. And to be honest, I was really starting to like you..." The wolf placed his paw on her shoulder, "You're coming with me." The vixen looked up at him and shook her head, "No, Malachi. I can't do that. I'll get punished, sure. But you'll get killed. I have a life to live here. There's no need for..." "Do you know what they do to girls who are found dating slaves?" She blinked a few times, pondering over his words. Honestly, she didn't. She didn't know of anyone who had. It was a silly notion-- what girl would date a slave? "Wh...what do they do?" "They break their tails, and clip one of their ears. Mark them as broken so no one will make the 'mistake' of dating them." The wolf looked right into Rain's eyes, who felt a pit drop in her stomach. "May..." Her mind reeled at the realization. All this time, she thought May just had a rough childhood. But this made no sense-- her family was just as wealthy as Rain's. It's not like she was in a bad neighborhood. "I knew her lover. He was a good man." The wolf shakes his head, "If you go back to them, that's what waits for you. But if you come with me... I've... I've heard of a place where slaves can find refuge. It's a story told in the pens. Maybe we could go there." Rain wrapped her arms around Malachi, looking up at him in fear, "I'm scared." The wolf hugged the vixen close, and rested his muzzle atop her head. His warm breath rolled over her ears. "I'm scared too." He looked down into her eyes, "Come on. We have to go." He took her paw in his, and ran.
