The soft yellow glow of the dimmed lamp suffused the room, mixing with the sharper hues radiating from the television. Playing right now was a show featuring a colorful cast of characters with all manner of conflicting personalities and traits who none the less fought evil together, espousing the ineffable power of friendship through their deeds. Holly chuckled at the show, it wasn't exactly the most original thing they watched but sometimes the old formulas were comfortable. She was laying on her back upon the couch, arms folded behind her head, and the legs of her lower 'taur half gently held in place little Star, who was reclining upon the lower half of Holly's form, her face buried in the soft belly, hair mingling with the white fur. Holly had hoped a cute show and a warm embrace would help to improve her girlfriend's mood but her mind still seemed to be plagued with shadowy fears. She frowned faintly. “Careful now, I'm getting up” Holly said in a soft voice, tapping Star's leg with her forepaw. Star reluctantly pulled herself from Holly's inviting belly and rose from the couch, letting Holly roll to her feet and turn around to face her. Star dropped back into the couch as her girlfriend sat on the floor next to her and Holly gently took her hand. Given Holly's unusual anatomy, despite sitting Star still had to look up to meet her eyes. “I'm sorry, I hope I'm not ruining it for you. I just can't stop thinking about projects and tests and... all of it.” Holly started to gently rub the back of Star's hand with her thumb, her powder blue eyes locked on Star, her features marked by concern. “I mean... how am I supposed to just sit here and goof off-” She broke eye contact and gestured wordlessly with her hand at the scattered pads of paper, pencils, and various other tools of her craft before rubbing her eyes. Holly kissed the top of her head and gently pulled it to her chest, stroking her hair soothingly. “It's okay... It's okay... let it out.” Holly cooed, and began humming a quiet tune to ease her loved one. “Sometimes...” Star let out a deep sigh. “Sometimes I wish I could just hide away. Forget about everything and just be useless for awhile, you know?” The two of them sat in silence for a few minutes, Star focused on the steady beat of Holly's heart, both of them reluctant to break the embrace. Holly squeezed Star's hand lightly before letting go and gently lifting her chin so their eyes could meet. “You know... I might be able to do something about that.” “What do you mean?” Star asked quizzically. “If it's all too much for you, your work, the projects, the pressures, all of it. If you really need to hide away for awhile, I can help you.” a faint smile played across Holly's lips as Star blinked. She took Star's hand and placed it against her hip. “I've never tried this before but... my lower body is actually rather spacious and I think, if you wanted to try, you might be able to fit... What do you think?” Star shook her head in response, “That... sounds nice but I have so much to do.” “Let me worry about that.” Holly responded with a wink and rose to her feet and walked to the edge of the couch, running her tail along the bottom of her beloved's chin as she passed. “But you have to promise you won't fret about all that. You're not allowed to stress or beat yourself up over anything until I decide to let you out again, okay?” She aligned her self with the couch, standing by the arm rest and turning her head to meet Star's gaze. A momentary smile flashed across Star's face. “I promise...” “Good.” Holly answered with finality as she adjusted her stance, her hindquarters rising to the arm rest of the couch while the rest of her lowered toward the ground. Her tail twitched enticingly overhead as Star crept forward on all fours. As she neared, Holly's tail slowly encircled her shoulders, the tip gently stroking her cheek, encouraging her onward. She'd never done anything like this before but something about it just felt so natural. Each of them felt the same desire coiled in their hearts. Star reached out and slowly parted the petals of the snow leopard's flower, it bloomed easily, inviting her inside, and she easily sank in up to her elbows. She looked back up when Holly began to purr, the two of them locked eyes and their cheeks flushed. “Don't be shy” Holly said invitingly. Star returned her attention to the fleshy interior as the purring resumed. She could feel the steady rumble travel into her arms, meshed with the steady twitching of the muscles in her hips as the tail swished back and forth. Star took a deep breath and plunged deeper, her arms sinking readily into her beloved and the soft, feminine lips came to rest on her cheeks. The purring deepened, sending a tingling sensation along her body as she dove farther and farther into the easeful darkness. The flower swallowed her shoulders, her tummy, bit by bit she disappeared into the furry hips of her elated companion. Holly shifted slightly, her tail whipping back and forth ecstatically. She could feel her body stretching as the new guest made her way inside. Every time Star thought her descent should be coming to an end she started to slide in farther. She could feel the warmth of Holly's tender lips as they wrapped around her hips, her trip paused for a moment and she could feel the muscles all around her shifting and flexing trying to accommodate the rest of her form. With a sudden tug from the muscles around her she was ferried on inside, her legs disappearing easily into the feminine flower. She was slipping in more quickly now as the womb of the snow leopard tenderly consumed her. At last the petals closed over her toes and she was shut entirely into the dark, warm world inside of Holly. She writhed and twisted, pressing out against the womb as it stretched to envelop her and squeezed to embrace her. Holly could feel the warmth of the other body spreading inside hers. She tried to hold as still as possible as Star adjusted herself inside the new surroundings. Holly could feel as she pressed out against the soft interior, twisted and rolled to try and find a comfortable position, and explored her new enclosure. The peculiar sensation set her alight with joy, filling her heart as completely as it did her womb. Star came to a rest at last, slightly curled as she reclined and sank into the accommodating lining of the organ. Her ear pressed against it, she could hear all manner of sounds resonating through the body around her. The gurgling of Holly's belly, the rhythmic beating of her heart, the hissing whisper of her breath, and the resonant rumble of her purr suffusing everything. Star could feel it all throughout her body, tingling and relaxing. She let out a contented sigh and nuzzled the interior of Holly's body with love. She was going to have little trouble in keeping her promise not to worry. All she wanted was to lay there for as long as she could, forgetting any care or worry and losing herself in the intimate embrace. Holly held still for a few minutes on the floor, her eyes shut and her mind focused on every little aspect of the experience, wanting to remember the feeling of her little friend as she clamored inside her and was cradled within her feline body. When she had the event transcribed as well as she could hope to her memory, she rose again, accounting for the unusual weight distribution as she walked to the couch and took her spot once more. Though the shows resumed and rolled on, Holly's attention couldn't be torn from the bulge in her belly. She blushed and couldn't help but smile every time she saw a little nudge from her friend within. She cooed to her tucked away lover, “Sleep tight sweetie, you've earned it.”
