The screaming…the sound was unlike anything Shiloh had ever heard before, animalistic and feral and BROKEN… They had been sleeping peacefully, camped out among the roaring waters and peaceful serenity of the Obsidian Bluffs, Selines large warm body wrapped tenderly around Shilohs small one. The vibrantly blue frizzle danuoc had been dreaming of chasing rabbits through a field when the whimpers and snarls of his dalavash turned ket threw him out of his sleep and into a startled yelp of wakefulness. "Seline?" He whined, pressing his nose against her flank, her snarls grew worse and Shilohs heart sank. If he didn't snap her out of this nightmare soon then things could get very bad. Too late. With a roar he saw Selines form contort and twist. He sprinted away knowing what was coming and sure enough a massive dalavash had taken the place of the ryno. She roared…no. No it was SCREAMING anguished heartbroken screaming and Shiloh whined. He called to her, over and over trying to snap her out of her attack. But it was impossible. Bee wasn't here…if Bee was here she would know what to do! The frizzled danuoc blinked back tears and looked around frantically. Help…he needed to find help! So he started sprinting while Selines great form thrashed, someone he needed…ANYONE! It was as if the gods had heard his silent pleas when he came across the sight of another danuoc, they had frizzled feathers like him and short cutely shaped horns. They looked up, startled at the sight of him rushing towards them, almost looking like they were about to flee. "No wait please!" He cried out to them. And they paused, their red eyes looking hesitant. "I need your help please! My…my best friend she…she's lost control. She's having a horrible panic attack and I can't stop her. I'm really scared she's going to hurt herself and I…I don't know what to do…please!" Bun should run…they thought to themself. They really should run…this could be a trap. However the more they looked at this toa the more they realized his panic was genuine. They wasn't sure what they could do to help but…damnit they couldn't just leave him to suffer. "Okay…okay lead the way." They nodded, dropping the bundle of herbs they had been gathering into their bag and running behind him, they didn't have to run long before suddenly they were facing a raging dalavash queen. "Th…is THIS your best friend?!" They stammered in panic, oh gods…what had they gotten themself into?! Shiloh winced when he realized he should have given this stranger a proper heads up, winced even harder when Seline let out another agonized bellow, her tail slamming into the ground and sending debris flying everywhere. "I'm sorry I should have told you she…normally she's a ryno but…but she…she was having a nightmare and I couldn't wake her in time and I dont…normally her mate can calm her down she's not here and I…I don't know what to do!" He cried, tears soaking into his cheek feathers. Bun inhaled slowly, grounding themself as they looked up at the panicking beast. "...what does her mate usually do?" They questioned. "S-sing…I think. She would sing." The toa answered shakily. Oh…well…that they could do. But first they needed to get the dalavash's attention. "HEYYYYY BIG GAL!! OVER HERE!!" This was either going to work…or get them killed. They really hoped for the former. The deep blue colored dalavash swung her head towards Buns cries and snarled. Bun took a deep breath and called on their favorite lullaby, singing softly at first before increasing the volume. The dalavash…at first seemed unaffected, snarling as she stared Bun down…but then, something in the great beasts purple eyes softened…panic and rage turned to sadness and recognition as Bun continued to gently sing her a lullaby, Bun couldn't imagine the pain this queen had been through to bring her to this state and theu watched with bated breath as the great beast shrank and morphed before their very eyes to that of a harpy feathered ryno. "Seline!" The toa came rushing towards her and nuzzled her chest. Bun watched the rest of the tension melt from who they assumed was Seline and cleared their throat softly. The kadin that had once been a dalavash approached, looking almost ashamed. "Thank you I…I'm sorry. I know you don't know us but what you did…I cant thank you enough. Most kets would have seen me and run." Bun chuckled and shook their head. "Well hey, I'm not most kets…my names Bun and…I'm glad. That I could help." They looked around and saw that the duos campfire was still in good shape and let out a soft hum. "Say…how do you two feel about a cup of tea?" They flipped the opening of their bag to reveal the herbs inside and smiled. Seline chuckled at the offer. "You know…I think we'd enjoy that very much." Tea time it is then!
