Tame Beginnings Part 1 Written by Septia. Sun baked gravel crunched under the wheels, the electrical locomotion forging a groove into the sanded path. “Phha… huha…” I was getting sun-baked myself, or steamed by the amount of sweat I was exuding. “Leastmfms… I don't have to buy gasoline,” I hummed, announcing it to no one but myself to bask in the self-appointed pride. I turned off of the road into the tree laced paths, allowing myself a sigh of relief when I could see my house peek out of the foliage. “Sweetie, I am home, you gonna come and greet me, huh? Come on now~.” Though my dears were already scrambling through the corridor, and pouncing on me in a warm embrace. “Grabby, Aafrf.” “Aha hf, afhafm.” all three of my pups pinned me back to the door before I even had a chance to close it, tumbling back out over the threshold while the pups huffed onto my face. Well, pups was an affectionate term, as the trio had bulked up significantly since when I'd started raising them. Andrake in particular had a gut which could sustain a whole bag of dog food and then some. “Mmog…” this was made painfully apparent when he sloughed onto my chest, and the hanging abdomen choked me like a sack of potatoes. “Andrake, you've grown so big,” I said and brushed back his fur, while the others affectionately lapped up the salty perspiration dotting my face. "Mreewrrf,” as proclaimed a rather pompous feline, approaching cautiously to veer off the dogs, putting a paw to my thigh and looking at me with a face that said: 'I am here in your time of need, I support you… make with the dinner, slave.' “Lilac, you'll get yours~” I assured. “Mrrr.” She affirmed. “Crrawak, stop licking me there, crawwk, I said stop.” Markson crooned from the windowsill. “See, this is why I can't bring fine folk here, you'd embarass me.” “Craawwk, tongue feels so good.” “Stop~.” I snickered and gave the pets a fair share of brushies and tummy tickling. ~ 1 ~ “How are you Amid, its been so long since I heard from you.” “Yeah, a whole two days,” I responded, balancing the act of cutting open a feed sack, holding the phone with my shoulder, and keeping an eye out for any eager intruders lured by the scent of din dins. “You said you would get the ruling yesterday.” “Yes mom, The shelter is keeping me on full time after the internship period,” I said, portioning out dogfood. “You are still just an intern, then?” “Mooom, I can handle myself, you know I am responsible,” I assured, pouring up the last bowl, and turning to see Andrake hunkered over the counter, teeth snapping at his bowl. “Dear Amid, You know I trust you completely, but a mother worries about her …” I am sure mother's speech was very beautiful, though it became a hassle to listen while I wrestled the bowl from Andrake's grasp, Emperor and Kendra joining in at the commotion, and the kitchen turning into an all out brawl. “… So that is why I will always support you, and if you need space, just let me know.” “Yeah that would be great, mom. I really need a bit to myself, love you, lets meet up when you are in town, bye-bye,” I rushed to end the call with as much affection a I could, but Emperor saw fit to jump onto my back, knocking them and the bowls onto the floor. At which point I planted my fists at my sides, and gave them my sternest glare… and proceeded to pour out the feed back onto the floor, a great success for the hungry puppers, which didn't even notice that I scooped up the excess to hide it where they surely wouldn't get it. ~ 2 ~ “Evening, Quetzal,” I cordially greeted. Quetzal was as excited as ever, he even turned her head to face me, before flicking out his tongue to smell my presence. “Got some energy to slither and squirm today?” I asked, and gently eased Quetzal out of the terrarium, he wandered her long body along my shoulders, hissing at my neck and crawling down like a scarf. “Ooh? You wanna come with me, sure~” I said, dancing and hoisting him smoothly between my arms, shuffling towards the bedroom. “I know you like this terrarium when I am around,” I said, lowering him into the enclosure by my bedside, the smooth snake dipping his belly in the little pond and resting over his favorite rock. “Hhaawmmf…, you got the right idea,” I said, teary eyed from exhaustion, even caring for animals had started to drain me lately, even if there was nothing I'd rather occupy my time with. My blanket was speckled with a line of, suspicious bulges… I noticed first when they started to squirm, morphing the cloth around their outlines. I lifted a fold and peeked in… -Shhrlrlp- a tongue waiting to lick me a greeting. “Guys…” I sighed and exposed the canines, even Lilac curled up by the pillow. “Why do I even get you guys your own beds,” I muse and crawl up, “make some room for husse I chimed and laid back with a wide yawn, cuddled up in a bundle of fluffy warmth, that breathed in rhythm with my own heartbeat. ~ 3 ~ Ears flicked. Movement…? whiskers feels funny… close. I looked out into the darkness. It wasn't the filthy beasts, they were fast asleep. Instead, though a figure rose in the bed. husse, he was mumbling. “Mrgs… ghhrs. Ghrllakf…” Made as much sense as usual. His movement were uneven, teetering off the mattress and pacing out the door… Lilac rose, the feline sauntering down off the bed and proceeding to stalk Amid as he stumbled through the corridors. It took them to the kitchen, where Amid turned and turned, fumbling with his hands against the shelves, unlocking cabinets and patting over the counter top. Lilac leapt up to investigate, following his palms as they patted ad fumbled over the counter, entranced by the motion of his fingers… “Mrmawwr.” She spun, and smacked her paw on top of Amid's. "Phhraaahhaaf,” I gasped for breath, my lungs bloating in an instant, shadows warping around into shape. A step backwards, and then the world swung into blackness again, my rump smacking into the cold floor… followed by my back, hands slumped by my side. All my instincts called out to dampen my fall, yet… I felt nothing in response. -Kkddtt-. ~ 4 ~ By the time my vision adjusted to see the ceiling fan spinning above me, I had tuned out the drone of the rotating blade, blanketing my surroundings in silence. Was it… even making any noise? Were the towering shadows around me, really the cabinets and benches of the kitchen? They were, moving more than usual, shifting as I peered between them, maybe… it was all just… then I saw them growing bigger, pulsating, swallowing up surround light, sprouting tendrils up along the ceiling, sprawling roots of coal black vacuum. My breathing picked up its pace, I knew air flowed down my maw, yet. I couldn't feel my chest rising or falling. I tried to look, yet my head’s vision remained static… Anxiety amplified… I tried to twitch my fingers, raise my legs, curl my toes, wave my ears… yet… the linking my thoughts to my tissue, laid severed; a — a marionette, bereft of strings, yet still harbouring the desire, the need to move… I didn't want to think it. If I did, I would give up… I had to hold on… -Pllsffsssr- A trickle of fluids… sensations, … I heard the faint gushing, the first noise I had been granted since my fall. -Sffllssrt- It beamed as, percolating as a river of molten snow in early spring, a promise of hop. Then… Realisation struck… where was it coming from? -Sfslf-. I felt it… really felt it, at the back of my head, my hair matted to my skull, soaking up the pouring fluids into my black locks as a sponge. The shadows, crept closer. 'Is this… death?' I thought, trying to keep my head straight, feeling a haze of dizziness creeping over me. How could I have… how hard did I hit my head? Did it matter? The shadows, malformed. It couldn't be true… It must be a dream, a dream with sensation and anxiety and my own kitchen warping inwards onto my like talons curving to sink into my chest… one shadow, grew exponentially. 'Please… let it be a dream let it… I can't, I can't die, who is gonna take care of-…' “Mrewow.” Amy worry halted, the wave approaching the shoreline petering out, barely reaching my toes… "…. Lilac?” “Mreeor.” It was her, really her, I felt her paws saunter over my chin. It would be ok, she just needed to stir up the pups, get them to come here, to start barking, sooner or later they could attract attention, they could bring help, they could…. Lilac pull turned her face away from mine, attention drained from me. Of course… if she was gonna stir up the others, she needed to leave me… I assured myself of this, she was a good kitty, I had to put my trust in her, it was all I had. She came back into view. However, it was not her face that greeted by this time. -Btff-. If all the blood had leaked to of my head, then my system was running on liquid worry… My face cove, mouth and nose smothered under the fluffy coat of the white feline, hazily catered hairs brushing across my face, into my nostrils, and the weight of the portly cat squashing my nose Her tail wiped past my face, curving and brushing as she relaxed her entire weight onto me. “Mmf- fmm-.” The frail wheezes I huffed out bothered not the feline, who licked her paw and brushed it over her fur. How long did I have? How long had I been knocked out for? A chill sparked at the tips of my shoulder and coursed through my head in a wave of needles. My life was ticking away, a countdown I was dreadfully aware of, but had no clue what it stood on… one hour? Half? A day? A minute? And how much was it being cut down by Lilac limiting my airflow, majority of earth breath filled with hairs that glued into the back of my gullet and rolled up in drool from my tongue. The more hairs I inhaled, the further the itch clawed in my throat…. It hammered through as the seconds passed, and the ache for itching ramped, my lips trembling, breath erratic… tail obscuring my vision once more. She didn't knew any better… at least. her presence, confirmed I wasn't dead, I felt so much, but she had to help me, something deep in her nature must be there, to protect me, the way I cared for her. I pictured it in my mind, concentrating my thoughts into a wish; a plead for Lilac to hear me, before it was too late. -Ppfrrwwrth- My reward, was a puff of tepid air. Soot of colon grease with an aroma of mud soaked liver speckled the inside of my maw with a single plume of my felines fumes, supplying my starved throat with a desperate grasp of air, and soon the inhale of dried pepper and kitty litter permeated my insides. 'P-please, g-get help.' I thought, desperately burst of fetid smog contorting my brain in disgust and fuelling the primal instinct to flee. Though… -Squurrlsth- An arrhythmic crinkling of pursing flesh robbed me the luxury of hope. -Sprff- A faint huff of Lilac's rear fogged up my cheeks, through here it was the envoy of for the what was to come. -Crrlslgjts- A creaking, crinkling and folding of pursed flesh rippled from her hind. She scooched her rump about, as if searching for a comfortable spot to perch. -Chhrslth- her cheeks part flat and pucker protruding, I caught a glimpse of it as she stretched forwards, to see the span of umber framed in the clutches of her pucker. -Shhwuaht- right before she wiped the budding pucker over my lips, smearing it against them as a stick of lip balm. The corrupted odour infested the moist rim of my maw. The warped nozzle leaving a streak of the grime over across my skin… the skid mark left prickled in pungency as with the prickle of a sparking fuse, she gyrated her hips, squeezing it to and fro over my face, until she had spun my lips with a clear marking of skid mark lipstick, rim honed in over my maw. -Pfprcllrlth- A flutter of venting fumes speckled my teeth in dots of feline feces, the speckle solidifying as a glue while the bottom warped around the girth of Lilac's oncoming litter. -Crrksnng- -Shhclrlg- the skin of her pucker bloating outwards and snapping back over the cragged girth of a sewage sausage, packed so taut that I felt the whirl of purring from Lilac's tension as she worked to wedge it out of her hind. -Sllfght- -clsplth- Droplets of bowel fluids trickled along the parting crevices in Lilac's filth, sloughing into by the back of my maw in the consistency of shampoo – only truer to the latter end of its name – From the mere glob oozed the stench of coffee sump left to drain without water, turning into torrid ash that dried the saliva from my glands. -Sllgths- Yet, the sewage neared, and it was radiant with malodorous humidity, gracefully coming into my dessert of a mouth and soaking it in the putrid vapors. The grime functioning as a humidifier, with an occasional puff of flatulence from Lilac -Ffrth- splashing the liquid filth around my maw. I felt the tears at the corners of my eyes, budding the more filth. In thinking, my mind dreamed back to when she was just a kitten, saved from a litter with a sick mother, one of the first I'd taken into my care, shown many times we had played, waking me in the morning, getting her only her favorite brands of fancy cats dinners… was… this how I was to be repaid for all my care. “Mfrs,” I tried to mumble, but the plead attempt was cut short… just like Lilac's dump. -Spllrtwtho- The odour of ash and pepper pickled corpses seared my skin, the mound of waste smacking over my tongue and bending to warp in a crescent on the inside of my maw, smearing the filth around through the humidity of the fart breezes and foraging my tissue to contract and hark around the sausages of grime. -Fhhsts- It crinkles and crumbled under the moulding environment, my anxious heaves only serving to smear and daub the muck around my maw. Its taut frame budging into my brawn while the sap of putrefied dung grease trickle percolated from the fractured surface of raw umber. Regardless of my effort, the grime soaked a path down my throat, swirling down over my tongue, my taste buds making it blatantly clear that I was alive, even if it was through the mode of suffering, as the filth drained down my rippling piping, slotting into my throat which -Chhrth- in a fearful reaction I inhaled, -Shhts- and the muck sunk in deeper, trudging its way through my throat. -Bbfrr- -Chhrsltslth- Further puffs of kitty stench petered out from her pucker, and the crinkles of honey submerged plastic wrapping told me even more manure was unfurling above, curling out from the pristine rump and arching its way to my throat, -pfslltsh-. The weight of them building up over one another, my throat clenching and quaking in disgust. How could Lilac produce something so disgusting? I'd cleared out hers and the others' litterbox an untold amount of times, yet this oily stench grew worse; the odour of mat, jerked in vinegar and boiled in tar clung to my membrane, melding with my skin to forge me a part of her filth. My mind bending and warping the perception out of proportions, yet without any other sense to rely on, I was trapped in the horrendous illusion. -Ghhls- and to preserve myself… I had to swallow… It was a struggle, and it went down as a bonbon left to harden in the freezer, thawing muck from its surface to trickled down my throat. -Chhrlstlsh- Then in one swallow, I felt something… solid, bend up, out of the filth, and jab into my skin. It was blunt, smothered in the jelly core of Lilac's manure, and…, brushing into me like a clean knuckle… A Tiny femur, from some poor critter Lilac had gotten her paws on without my notice, and now… I was chugging it down. She would at times, present me with her catches, as if to pay me tribute, or proof for me to pay her tribute, but this time, I had no choice but to accept it,… -Chhrlgltsh- The only solace, was once it passed along my throat, I could no longer sense it, it vanished from this horrendous reality. Thought, it took quite a while for it to reach that the end, and she only deposited more. It was strange that husse had vanished. While this litterbox looked the part, it neither moved nor made any annoying noises. I brushed my hind down over the rim of the fancy litterbox, and smushed my tush tighter along the frame. -Shhtsth- I felt my touch come to a stop, cheeks wedged, and an outcropping slotted right in line with my rear, just a bit of wiggling, and the outcropping had brushed off all the remaining waste. How convenient, further proof that this was an excellent litterbox. It was still her husse then when would congratulate him on this magnificent ability of his to disappear and let this litterbox take his place, it was the perfect gift. I yawned and wiggled my tush, stretching out and taking a moment to clean up before sauntering off the box, content with my business finished, and curious once more where Amid had gone. Though… I didn't quite care enough to find him, least right now. Globules of scooped up kitty clay plugged up my nostrils, teetering on the edge of draining deer down my nose bridge… “fmfm” a huff sent flushed it out -Chrth- tumbling down my own maw instead. My mind laid in shambles, tears streaming down the sides of my face, tears polluted with the oozing sewage guzzled down my gullet, tingeing my eyelids in salty itch… My eyewhites felt red ad swollen… Swallowing down her manure, had cleared my throat up of the butt-hair ball she'd deposited, despite the horrendous stench and marred flavor, I was thankful it was no longer itching. But there I laid, sprawled out on the floor reeking of litter, an open kitty box festering in my own tears, and my muscles far out of my reach… on the way to the grave. -Snfn-fnns- I sniffed, an itching scent of pungency waging war on the rotten litter grease, I felt the liquid trailing along my hair, and with some sensation taken back from my head, I could confirm there was no wound, and what was soaking my head wasn't a congealing sanguine… but an amber puddle of cat piss. ~ 5 ~ Emperor sniffed the air, something wasn't right, something… was in fact very, very wrong. He shot up from the bed like a pike, following his nose out of the comfy room, down the long room, and into heave of foods. There, there was the source of the scent. That stench of… cat… Specifically, the stench of a cat thinking it could come and contour his territory. He held back a growl, and marched up to correct this insubordination, post haste. I Saw Lilac enter, felt the enthusiasm in his step, he was smart, young and energetic. I couldn't blame Lilac for her actions, thought was n her nature, but Emperor had always been worried about me, been by my side when I was sick, I could feel how worried he was, and at least if he didn't go out ad fetch help, he could comfort me to have him by my side through the night. And then he raised his back leg. -Sfrrlrlsssrhhs- A stream of glistening liquid coursed through the air, archiving through the smog of kitty manure, and trailing down right into my open maw. The splash-back staining my jaw and nose in amber droplets infused with the musk of a moist hound. “Ghrs—gshehag-.” I gargled under the puddle of urine filling my maw, marking me in his odour, reinstating my use as a urinal, while my gob filled up with a torrent of whirling puppy nectar, washing the crusting feline grime off of my flesh with the jet of fermented stilton and copper. Emperor, in the meanwhile, was huffing with hung tongue lagging free and pleased out of his maw, scooching up closer when the stream slowed, splattering my face in the golden shower of liquefied musk. My path of tears mixed in with the vibrant yellow flood, as I guzzled down the liter of hearty odour of his gift, to not drown on the floor, reeking of dog piss. ~ 6 ~ I tried to blink away this horrid dream, I couldn't handle it, my dears couldn't treat me like this. -Shhsch- I felt Lilac scooching, the fainting shake of my head manifested, but was smothered under the rump smooshing into place over me, the dog bulk in two and a half Lilac's sunk his hid onto my face, and wasted no time for his hind to haul out a fog of -Sppshrhhrht- colon exhaust, his rim rattling as it washed my throat in the potency of rectal doggy breath -Chhrlsth- and his brim swelling wide around a blob of filth… Emperor's grime smooth and soft swatted down clay, keeping its shape congealed as jelly as it blossomed through the taut petals of his pucker, sighing free in a globules of bud baked in intestines -Sggjrpsths- the manure smooth as it hit my tongue, melting as a sorbet, and the plunge of molten doggy caramel only further pooling out out of his hind, clogging my maw in an avalanche of soft muck. “Mmf, s tbst-” I huffed out as the bulk of it bulldozed down my cheeks, swelling them out thick and rotten, housing Emperor's sloppy load, his grime softer on my pallete, putrid, but compared to Lilac, it was a milk gelato filling my maw. At that point, the haze of filth was creeping up my spine, clawing its way through my mouth, and sedating my mind in the enlightenment of stench, and while Emperor was huffing ad pumping away his sludge, the shadows consumed my vision. ~ 7 ~ ”Mfms… mfa…” I growled. Breath unsteady, but light had punctured through my retinas. I looked up; ceiling, shelves, cabinets, all was there. All was standing in its place, instead of growing and shifting before my vision. A smile creased my lips. I raised my hand… despite the horror of the dream, controlling my body was such a victory, I hauled myself sitting, on the floor, panting gently. It was just a dream, my dears were sleeping, and soon enough, they'd want some breakfa-… “Pughururlglsh,” I regurgitated a cheek full of molten doggy nougat, the uneven droves of congealed, auburn wax flooding down my lips crackling -Sghts- as cheese graded onto a window as it engulfed my chest and pooled down onto my lap, still warm as it drooled from my mouth. All at once, the taste, memories, and foul, maturing smells assaulted me, etching themselves as real in the marble of perception. An experience which drained me of will and energy… -Bdbdth- and soon I was passed out on the floor again. Only this time, caked in mouth baked mud.
