The Carna Market---

The Assumed origin of the Carna Marget is rooted in the philosophical conflict between the rising, fledgeling Sentient Conglomerate and the more traditionalist hierachies linked to primitive instict in the more isolated members. Those members who's views tend to hold that which is common in many other worlds, of the strongest power being the one who rules.

The Conglomerate dimissed the notion, arguing that the technological level achieved by a cohesive whole was more than enough a testament to moving on from the world in which life was a struggle within itself. The soon to be Carna market founders would continue to argue the point of conditioning for it;s primary folowers: How would a predator maintain his edge over prey and how could such a political body possibly hope to quell all sorts of pain in the world? Trying to phase out such a common part of life was ludicrous.

Eventually these vocal critics declared their intention of leaving the conglomerate individually, which shocked many. Soon what the Conglomerate though would be a failed venture quickly turned into a lucrative business for those who savored the rich rewards of flowing currency. The conglomerate still in infancy had no official established army. Raids were conducted by the night as villages, towns, and entire cities quickly fell to not an organized force, but simple guerilla bands of in and off world mercenaries. The most devasted area was the small town of "Conaj" which out of 1000 entire families of rabbits was rumored to have lost 845 entire families in crimes associated with rape, and torture which eventually caused many suicides as well as the murders of Man, women; impregnated or not, and child whose meat and associated organs were rumored to have fetched high prices.

It was not until the Cognito intervened from Neutrophon that the Conglomerate had time to muster such a force. The Cognito had launched a full multi-pronged attack from the side that caught the mercenaries by suprise. They were unprepared for such a daunting, advanced force with inherent psionics to their biology. The Cognito would quickly depart, simply advising the Conglomerate in simple aspects of war, as Dementia had gained a small foothold on Neutrophon. The Mercenaries were quickly killed or imprisoned within the conglomerate prisons. In little over a month, the Conglomerate had managed to muster an official continental army and was freshly deployed to the area which was though to harbor the heart of the Carna market. 

Fueled by rage, the Conglomerate forces easily pushed back the mercenaries most of whom surrendered(most of whom were killed regardless) or ran. Although the Market had been destroyed the founders had escaped to establish a new base of operations. To this day, Conglomerate forces have been unable to directly assault it, given the massive offworld support it has received from foreign factions.

The Carna market is known to do business with freely All EXCEPT Dementia, who they see as petty, and untrustworthy and usually must pay heavy prices for common access. Dementia has attemted indirect assaults on the Market with no success to date. The universal astral gateways allow for Any being from the edenic void, or any other universe to enter in freely.
