Prologue The mouse was running for how long? He had forgotten, and didn’t care as long as he got away was all that mattered. Foul smelling water splashed over his bare feet as he ran through the sewers blindly through the darkness using the lack of light, and scents of the sewer would save him. He came to a stop at a dead end, and cursed under his panting. He leaned against a wall of the chamber he was in, and collapsed into the muck and filth of the ground as the exertion of his attempted escape. There was a loud splash as he landed that echoed for a whole, but only aided the mouse’s pursuer in finding him. The man’s pursuer was dressed in a grey robe that completely covered his face, despite the length of the robe there appeared to be no muck or grime along the bottom of it. “You were fun.” he said in a deep commanding voice. “But despite that I cannot have anyone know of my plans…” he said picking his prey by the ankle. “You won’t get away with this…” the mouse said as his head began to feel heavy from blood flow. “I won’t let you. You filthy mongrel!” he said as he tried to kick at his captor’s which only knocked the hood off of him, and got a loud growl out of him. The mouse’s capturer was a large beauceron with cropped ears. “I will rule this land, one way or another.” he said in a growl. “And no one will stop me!” the canine said as he threw the mouse into the wall, and slowly began walking off slowly. The mouse gasped and coughed as he tried to get up. He felt a sharp pain in his chest causing him to suspect cracked it not broken ribs. “Lord Crye. I will stop you!” the mouse said as he jumped at the canine, but stopped in mid air by the canine’s arm. Lord Crye growled as he held the mouse by his head. “You’re persistent…” he said as his arm began to glow softly. “Sadly you’re too loyal.” he said as he grinned watching the mouse convulse as electricity coursed through his body killing him from the inside out. After he was done with the mouse, the beauceron threw the corpse into the muck of the sewers to let it rot as he resumed his slow return to the surface. He quickly put his hood back on as he began to climb the ladder that lead to the court yard, and proceeded back to his chambers. Once in his chambers lord Crye was greeted by a familiar person. “You almost let that one slip by Max.” said the large rat who was sitting on a chair. He was wearing a grey silk shirt and an orange pair of shorts. “He almost got away, and ruined your plans.” “Lord Raelyn.. Remember that I started this, and I will see it through precisely with no breach of security.” Lord Crye said growling. As he spoke the large canine took off his robe revealing the fancy silks of his shirt and pants. “Now I urge you to please leave my quarters…” The rat frowned. “Fine, but remember I enjoy annoying you.” He said winking as he got his corpulent self up, and walked away. “Remember my daughter’s birthday is tomorrow. Bring a gift.” Lord Raelyn said as he closed the door with a slam. Lord Crye sighed, and poured himself a glass of wine as he thought over the day. “Ran through the sewers to catch a spy from probably lord Maurin’s employment possibly Degenhardt’s also.” he said as he realized the scent on himself and went to bathe off the scent. One hour had past, and lord Crye was clean and wearing clean clothing. He was walking slowly towards the council room for the more important announcements and tribunal placement. As Usual he was the first to arrive, and was followed by lord Maurin. “Hello Max.” said the albino wolf as he walked in. He wore similar finery to that of lord Crye, but his clothing was black and blue in color. Lord Crye simply glared at the wolf. “I can’t stand him.” he thought to himself. “How can a noble family be higher than min when it’s lord can’t even leave the castle with out completely covering his fur!? My way would have Kane and his family cast down from nobility…” the beauceron thought to himself as the saw the king come walking in. The king was n old coyote seeing as his muzzle, ears, and hands were graying. He wore a purple tunic that was slightly covered by a red cape. Noble lords…” he said looking at all twelve of them while mainly looking at lord Crye and lord Maurin in specific. “This meeting will be quick.” he said with a slight cough. After only a quick couple of minutes the meeting was almost over, and everyone was growing restless, save for the king who was relaxing on his throne. “Last thing on the agenda…” the old coyote said standing no. “I know I’m getting on in years, and I have no living heir… so I have chosen who will be my heir.” he said closing his eyes slightly. “Lord Kane Maurin.” the coyote said looking at lord Maurin; which got a few claps from moat of the lord save for one. “What!” yelled lord Crye as he stood up. “King Loar you chose that sickly whelp as your heir?” he yelled again in anger which caused Kane to flatten his ears. “Yes I did!” the old coyote said as he stood up. “If you have a complaint, then leave it be. My decision is final.” the king said glaring at the beauceron. Lord Maurin grinned slightly at the king’s response, and at the grumble that came from Max as he sat down. Later that night Kane sat on a chair in king Loar’s chamber sipping from a glass of mead. “Thank you your majesty…” he said looking at the coyote. Kane no need for formalities.” the king said smiling. “There’re specific reasons I chose you.” he said looking at his heir. “You’ve been like a son to me ever since you met Kurt.” he said holding back his emotions over the dead prince. Kane nodded. “I know, and I have tried my best to console Jessica soon after his death…” he said looking down. Kyle nodded. “Yes… you did good by marrying her.” He said drinking some of his mead. “Now for some of the more important reasons I chose you as my heir…” the old coyote said looking at the albino wolf. “Speaking of heirs… Jessica is expecting.” lord Maurin said wagging his tail a bit, but then tilted his head as he looked at the king. The king smiled. “Good, that is something my son wasn’t able to do.” he said looking out a window. “I’m about to tell you a secret about Kurt.” Kane blinked. “A secret? What is it, and why would it be so great that he couldn’t tell his best friend?” the wolf said sounding a bit confused. King Loar nodded. “Yes… He had a child…” he said turning to face Kane. “An illegitimate child, a bastard if you will.” “What?” the albino wolf asked blinking again. “You’re saying Kurt had a child? When was this?” he asked standing up. Kyle sighed. “Kurt told me of the child’s existence 15 years ago, soon after he came back from a trip down south.” he said scratching his head. The albino wolf was stunned to say the least. “So, he has had a child for the last fifteen years, and you did nothing?” he asked flattening his ears. “Yes. If I knew where the child was exactly, things would be different, but sadly I don’t remember where my son went to be specific.” the king said looking into his glass of mead. “Only possible lead is a person wearing the Loar crest.” he said pointing at a depiction of a coyote bearing it’s fangs and had a blade for a tongue. “Seeing as Kurt wasn’t wearing his for the last couple years. Anyway that is all I needed to tell you. So sleep well, and see you later.” king Loar said getting up and walking away. Kane nodded, and began to leave. “So Kurt had a child.,.” he said with a chuckle as he walked away towards his quarters. As the two canines left the room an odd looking fly flew out of an open window, and flew towards the room of a noble. Once it got to it’s destination the fly faded into nothing after giving it’s canine master the information it had; which made the beauceron grin. Chapter 1 “Jack quit flirting with the customers, and get back to work!” yelled the bartender as he looked at the waiter. The bartender was an old squirrel with grey fur through out most of his body. The waiter was blushing as he looked at the bartender. “But Zed he…” he started to say, but stopped and sighed as he began to walk away to serve more drinks. The person the waiter was “flirting” with was a ferret, and looked towards him. “By foxie.” he said drunkenly before he was slapped by the person sitting next to him causing him to collapse onto the floor. “I’m only half fox.” the waiter said looking down. He was wearing a simple green shirt and a brown pair of pants. He served a table four glasses of ale before heading back to the kitchen to get more drinks while quickly flicking his tail away from another hand eager to grab him. “Jack be faster.” Zed said as he put four glasses on a serving tray, and gave it to the waiter. Jack sighed and began to serve the patrons. Despite his fur coloring, and appearance, Jack was only part fox. The other half of him was maned wolf, so people simply mistook him for a large fox. After a while Jack leaned against the counter as he tried to relax during the short bit of a break he had. “Why does everyone have flirt with me?” he asked himself. “Cause you’re cute.” was the quickest response that came into his head, but dismissed it. With a yawn he began to take a nap, and contemplate play what eighteen years of life had brought him. “Lets see: my parents are dead by disease, I’m working in a place where I’m hit on every night by at least one person a night, my love life is pathetic, never could keep a girl or guy interested beyond my looks, and the last one I had is currently being eaten by a group of worms and maggots. Woohoo.” he thought to himself as he tried to sleep. “Jack wake up.” Zed said nudging him which caused the canine to yawn as he awoke. “What?” he asked looking up at the squirrel. “Last round and then the night is free for you.” he said yawning a bit. With a wag of his tail jack got up and got back to work. After about an hour hack now yawned and grinned as she served the last glass of ale. “All done.” he said as he heard what he dreaded the most, the door opened. “sorry, the restaurant is closed.” Zed said looking at the small group. The squirrel’s hands were busy cleaning glasses with a rag. “We have gold.” One of them a canine like mammal said holding up a small coin of the precious metal which got the squirrel’s attention. “Jack cook up food now!” he said grinning widely. Jack sighed, and looked at the small band. There were four of them in total including the one with the gold coin. His hands and forearms appeared to be completely black, and rough despite the light grey of his fur. There were two ladies in the group. one was obviously a wolf, but her black fur was a accented by red stripes making her look a bit off. The other female was a feline of sorts probably a leopard jack thought as he noted that bother females were attractive, and were getting a lot of looks mainly at their chest, but looks nonetheless. The leopard was scantily clad, but was till somewhat appropriate while the other female was more decent in her clothing, and also had a bag over her shoulder. Out of them all only one truly held Jack’s attention. This one was a coyote who wore nothing more than a light bit of chain mail over his chest and a silver necklace of a coyote baring its fangs, but the most notable thing on him was the blood stained cloth that covered his eyes marking him as blind. With a slap from Zed, Jack regained focus and began to get drinks for the group. With a quick bit of deftness Jack served them each their drink, and ran back to get some stew for them. As he came back with a couple bowls of food for them he heard them talking about escorting some noble to the capital for the crowning ceremony. Jack sighed as he thought about being in the capital and not being in this festering pit of white hail, and most of all not working for Zed. After what seemed like an aggravating eternity for Jack everyone was done eating, and went to pay for a nights rest. Jack smiled widely as he quickly made himself a quick bowl of stew and poured himself a glass of ale, and almost ran to his room; which got a stare from the female wolf. Chapter 2 The coyote was sitting on a mat he had made from the blanket on the bed. He appeared to be meditating seeing as the only movement was from his chest as he breathed. The coyote’s chain male was removed revealing the various scars on his body. “Zalor I don’t like this.” said the aardwolf as he ran his clawed fingers along the frame of the bed he was on. “Especially a noble…” The coyote turned his head to face the aardwolf. “Circu I know you don’t like it. Hell you couldn’t stop complaining about it when I told you of the job, but a job is a job.” Zalor said as he got up. “I’m gonna go for a walk.” he said as he walked out the door. Despite having had his eyes plucked out of his skull he saw living beings normally, but non living things like corpses and walls appeared blue to him, and the air and sun appeared black to him so regardless it appeared to be night to the coyote. As he walked through the hallway the coyote noticed a somewhat sweet scent fill the air. “Someone cooking?” Zalor asked as he followed the scent to it’s source, and knocked on the door. Jack blinked as he looked at the door, and scrambled to hide the evidence that he was smoking. “Uhm come in.” he said as he put the metal pipe he was using under a pillow. The maned fox sighed a bit as he noticed the smoke that was in the air. “Are you cooking something in here.?” Zalor asked as he looked around the room a bit and saw Jack. “You weren’t cooking were you?” The maned fox blushed a bit. “Nn-no I wasn’t…” he said embarrassed that he was almost caught smoking Nebula. “Uhm why are you in my room, and what’s your name?” “It’s Zalor, and I was going for a walk.” the coyote said as he walked towards Jack. “You’re the waiter from earlier aren’t you?” he asked as he sat on the bed. Jack nodded slowly. “Yes, but I didn’t say anything. How could you recognize me?” he asked looking at the coyote oddly. Zalor grinned. “I’m not as blind as I appear.” he said pointing as his eyes. “I can tell you have orange fur, and are slightly lupine in appearance.” the coyote said slowly wagging his tail. The maned fox blinked. “So what are you a seer or something?” he asked looking at the coyote some more. The coyote smirked. “No. I’m a rycerza.” Zalor said and noticed the blank stare he got as a response. “You know. I traded my sight to a demon for power, but I was smart and made a smart deal.” he said grinning. Jack blinked. “So your eyes were taken from you? That must have hurt.” he said with a shudder as he thought about the thing. “It did.” Zalor said as he rubbed over the bandages covering his eyes. “What made it worse was watching the ordeal…” he said flattening his ears. “Anyway what were you smoking?” the coyote asked grinning. The maned fox blushed a bit. “damn…” he thought to himself as he pulled out the metal pipe and leather bag. “I was smoking Nebula, it’s an antidepressant…” Jack said looking down. Zalor nodded. “I see. So I’m guessing you lost someone.” he asked as he laid down, and put his hands behind his head. “He is cute.” He thought to himself as he wagged his tail. Jack sighed again. “Yes.” he said flattening his ears. “This time it was my boyfriend.” the maned fox said looking at Zalor. “that is sad.” the coyote said as he rolled onto his belly. “So.. Is there anything to do here?” Zalor asked with a grin on his face. The maned fox shook his head. “Not really..” he said as his voice trailed off and muttered something that made the coyote’s ears flick a bit. “What was that?” Zalor asked tilting his head a bit. As he asked his question the coyote moved a bit closer towards Jack. Jack blushed. “I mentioned sex…” he said flattening his ears a bit as he pointed at the slight hard on that caused a tent in the pants he wore. Zalor grinned. “Sex might be a bit for just meeting each other, but I think I can help with that.” he said licking his lips as he pointed at the maned fox’s cock. “Ok…” Jack said as he began to take his pants off. “So what exactly are you going to do?” he asked softly as he rubbed over the soft fur of his sheath to stimulate himself. The coyote moved closer to the maned fox, and placed his head in the canine’s lap. As he laid his head in the maned fox’s lap Zalor nuzzled against Jack’s hand to get it to move, and began to lick at the flesh that came out of the sheath. Jack felt a shiver go through his spin as he felt the coyote’s damp tongue touch his cock, but soon began to murr softly. He slowly wagged his tail as he petted Zalor on the head which go the coyote’s tail to wag. Zalor continued to lick Hack’s cock as it grew harder. Soon he cupped his mouth a round the member and began to suck on it softly as he rubbed its tongue along the side of it. Jack moaned softly as he felt his cock enter Zalor’s mouth. He continued to pet the coyote’s head, but his petting got harder as he started to thrust his hips into the coyote’s face. Zalor wagged his tail a bit as he felt the maned fox’s member begin to rub along his lips. He gagged softly as he felt the cock brush the back of his throat, and moved a bit to allow it to go down his throat. The Coyote murred a bit as he felt Jack’s knot enter his mouth, and began to flick his tongue on it trying to coax the maned fox to cum. Jack moaned loudly as he felt Zalor lick over his knot. His thrusting grew faster and faster as he grew closer to cumming soon Jack began to thrust hard into the coyote’s face, whining loudly as he began to cum. The coyote murred as he felt Jack cum into his mouth and throat. His tail wagged happily as he tasted the salty taste of cum on his tongue, and began to suck on the cock trying to get as much as he could from the maned fox. The maned fox moaned loudly as he felt Zalor suck off of him. His arm cramped slightly from how much he was petting the coyote’s head. After a bit Jack stopped cumming and was panting softly. “That was good.” Zalor wagged his tail, and moved a way from Jack’s member as he felt the knot deflate. “I bet it was.” He said as he licked his mouth clean. “I think sleep would be a good thing right now.” the coyote said yawning as he climbed up closer to Jack, and gave him a quick kiss before going to sleep. Jack smiled at the kiss, and held Zalor close. “Well this was a nice night.” the maned fox thought to him self as he began to go to sleep. After a couple hours Zed came walking up towards Jack’s room. “Wake up. Time for work.” he said as he opened the door, and saw Jack sleeping with one of the guests. “I told you not to flirt wit the customers,” Zed said as he walked over to Jack. And I caught you sleeping with one… again.” The maned fox blinked his eyes, and blushed as he saw Zed. “I’m sorry…” he said as he felt the squirrel pick him up by the collar of his shirt. “Sorry ain’t gonna cut it this time.” the squirrel said glaring at Jack. “This is the third time I caught you!” Zed said as he began to repeatedly hit the maned fox which got some loud yelps out of him. Zalor awoke to the yelps that were coming from Jack and got up. “Hey stop hitting him.” he said as he grabbed Zed’s arm. Zed growled, and smacked Zalor with the back of his hand he was using to his Jack. “Stay out of this!” he said as she resumed hitting Jack. The coyote growled loudly, and grabbed at Zed’s arm. As he grabbed the arm Zalor twisted it around causing the squirrel to scream, and let go of Jack. “I told you to stop.” he said in a dark and evil voice. The bandages had fallen off of his face revealing two large black star sapphires. Zed held his arm as he seethed in pain “Get out, and never come back!” he yelled at he coyote. “Same with you.” the squirrel said glaring at Jack. Jack’s face was bruised a bit, and a couple tears were rolling down his cheek. The maned fox’s ears flattened a bit as he heard the sound of foot steps as the wolfess from last night entered the room. “Zalor what happened? I heard a scream.” she asked looking around. Zalor looked at the currently scantily clad wolfess. “Aya, we’re leaving, and we’re bringing the mix.” he said pointing at Jack as he walked out of the room to avoid the light.
