Sandbar and Gallus enter the school of friendship, brushing the snow off their clothes as they walk to join the rest of the group in the kitchen hall. They asked Pinkie Pie for permission to use the place today. "Gallus, I'm not sure about this..." The pony said a bit nervously. The gryphon rolls his eyes at him. “Sandbar, you are never sure of anything. Literally your biggest fear is having to choose between various types of cupcakes.” He puts an arm around his friend to draw him in as they walk. “Just trust me. We are moments away from eating like never before with this plan.” The griffon said with a sly smile. “I don't think tricking our friends into making traditional meals from their homes is anything to brag about.” Sandbar said pulling away from his friend a bit. "Especially when the day of warm hearts draws near." “We are not fooling anyone. We'll just taste the food and give our honest opinion on who has the best menu for the holidays.” Gallus corrected with a smile. "Isn't that what friendship is about, being honest with each other?" Sandbar tried to look at it that way, but the hesitant pony only grew more nervous. The boys enter the kitchen room meeting their friends... and Spike? Hello, we have been waiting for you. Said the little dragon in a pink apron with hearts. “Heh! Nice apron.” Gallus couldn't help but sneer making Spike blush. "Huh, hello." Sandbar preferred to comment on it. Still he is confused by the presence of the little dragon. "Not to be rude, but what are you doing here?" "I asked him to come." Smolder said. She was sitting with her feet up on a table eating some gems. "I'm not the cooking type, so I asked him for help." "Though it's my first time cooking a dragon recipe." Spike once again reviews the vague instructions he was given. He did what he could with it to cook. The talk was interrupted when Yona squashed some small dumplings, “Yak food would be better! Yona make her friends want more!" “Hehehe~” Sandbar chuckled like a lovesick goofball as he looked at Yona. Gallus rolls his eyes and walks to see what his other friends are doing. Silverstream was doing something with… “Fish and seaweed?” The griffon questioned when he saw the ingredients. "Yes! You will see that you will love this!” The hippogriff said joining her hands with a huge smile of emotion. “This recipe has been in my family for many years! Normally my brother is the one who helps cook, but this is being so much fun!” Gallus didn't seem entirely convinced. "Okay... I'll leave you so you can concentrate." The griffon went to see what Ocellus was doing. The shapeshifter had several ingredients, but she seemed to work slower because she was constantly checking the recipe in a huge cookbook and carefully measuring the amount of each item. Ocellus doesn't seem to notice his friends as he concentrates on cooking something special. Gallus shrugged and took a seat next to Smolder to talk while the others finish cooking the traditional dishes. - Not long after Sandbar, Gallus and a newly included Spike sat down at a table so they could try each other's food. "This will be interesting." Spike said with a smile as he rocked his feet. Silverstream was the first to serve her plate. A fish clumsily wrapped in seaweed, it looks like some spice was scattered carelessly, and there's a smiley face painted with ketchup. "This is called 'Marine Surprise' in my home!" She was very proud and excited. “Don't hold back! Eat!” The boys exchanged uncertain glances but they had to, so they tasted the food. They had mixed reactions. Sandbar puts a hand to his mouth to keep from spitting. "Sorry, Silverstream, but this fish is still raw." It was also very salty so the pony drank water. "It's not that it's still raw, it IS raw fish!" She said with a big smile not seeing the problem. "Why cook it? Although we hippogriffs couldn't do it anyway, we have lived underwater for a long time.” "That explains." Gallus said as he ate. He doesn't love it but he isn't upset either. “A little salty, but it's good.” Spike decided to use his fire to cook the fish and then eat it with a smile. Though that technically means he was the one who cooked the dish. Sandbar was forced to eat all the fish on his plate so as not to offend the friend of hers that she had labored over. It was difficult, he didn't like it at all and his stomach was spinning. But almost immediately afterwards the pony felt better to see the yak placing her plate in front of him and the other diners. "Yona preparing 'Green Dessert' for friends! Friends enjoy Yak food!” She was screaming with pride over her food. It was like a green dumpling like mold and grass. It looks pretty bad and there are many! Sandbar smiles like a lovesick fool and his pupils turn into hearts. The pony began to eat the green desserts of the beautiful yak in front of him. Gallus had a complicated look on his face, poking at the bag with a fork and listening to it crunch like grass. Slowly the griffon picks him up and takes a small bite, having trouble chewing and swallowing. It was horrible in every way! It was like raw doughy grass flavored dough with dirt in it, somehow it was also sticky and quite heavy. Spike tries to cook again with his fire. Which resulted in a small explosion! The dragon's face was covered in soot and his shirt had turned to ash. By forcefully eating 2 of those green desserts, the dragon and the griffin felt strangely full, heavy and disgusted. So they slipped everything to the pony who ended up eating everything blinded by love. The dragon dish was next. It was like a big pie with a red and orange crust. "It's called 'Tarta Magmática' and it's the only dessert that doesn't have gems." "Let Spike try it first!" Gallus pushes the cake towards the little dragon, earning a look from his friend, but he wouldn't risk something like that. The little dragon begins to cut the cake. "Don't worry, it's just a name, it's not cooked with real magma." Spike helped himself to a slice and began to eat it with gusto savoring each bite. He was enjoying this new dessert. Sandbar and Gallus exchange a smile as they pick up their own portions, then take a big bite. The faces of both of them twisted into grimaces and their faces began to turn red to the tips of their mane and feathers. An explosion of heat disintegrated the clothing of both boys. "HELL!/DEATH!" Sandbar and Gallus spit fire like real dragons. They ran off in their white tights and Transformers underoos respectively. They got out and jumped into mounds of snow, which quickly evaporated. Both boys filled their mouths with snow trying to put out the fire in their mouths. Spike, Smolder, Silverstream and Yona were looking at their friends through the window. "I guess it was something too hot for them." The orange dragon said. Spike must have thought about that while he was cooking. “Maybe we should go and-!!” The little dragon's stomach began to growl loudly, he hunched over holding onto himself. "Bath! Bath! Bath!" Spike starts running out of the kitchen. "That usually happens with dragons too?" Silverstream asks. "Nope. Maybe Yona's green desserts blew up." Smolder shrugged. --- Later everyone was sitting down enjoying the many desserts that Ocellus prepared, enjoying the food and the company. Except for Gallus. Combining the food of the yaks and dragons ended in a great disaster. Spike made it to the bathroom in time, but Gallus and Sandbar are another story. The griffin was sitting with his arms crossed and making a face with a Paw Patrol diaper around his waist. Sandbar wasn't having such a bad time despite being in a fairy diaper, Yona was 'taking care of' and feeding him.
