Chapter 2: The man with three horns

Ronnie woke up and made himself some bacon. Then, during breakfast, he thought of Ayaka. Then the horns came back. As Ronnie noticed them, they were gone. “What the heck is going on?” Ronnie asked himself, “Why are these horns showing up?” Ronnie pondered that while eating breakfast. After that, he went to Christiana Mall to meet Ayaka and his friend, Joseph. “Hey, Ayaka and Joseph.” Ronnie said. “Hi.” said Ayaka, happily. Joseph just spins the fidget spinner he got yesterday. Ronnie has one of those and so does Ayaka. It is a popular trend. At least, that’s what they thought.

Ronnie had found a great spot to eat some Chick-Fil-A stuff. He ordered a chicken sandwich with waffle fries and for a drink, he ordered a Dr. Pepper. Ronnie remembered watching that one video. He actually liked that. Ronnie also drew characters on his smartphone. Ayaka was curious. “What are you drawing?” she asked. “Looks like characters based of different types of soda.” Joseph replied. “Yep. They are. You got Pepsi, and his sidekick is named Mist Twst, because he can ‘twist’ up the plot.” said Ronnie. Ayaka giggled in happiness. Later at the mall, he is at the Microsoft store, experiencing virtual reality. “Whoahohoho! This is insane!” Ronnie said, happily. The program ended and Ronnie said, “That was amazing I saw those plates fly around me.” “That is nuts.” Joseph replied.

Later that night, Ronnie felt those horns growing out of his head again, but he didn’t feel pain. Ronnie was curious, then he went outside and saw a suspicious truck. He then saw his Gaurdian Beast BPHMT in the back of the truck. The truck drove away and Ronnie chased after it. Ronnie ran fast without even getting tired. Ayaka saw him chasing that truck. She went in her car and drove after Ronnie. When Ronnie made it to where the truck had parked. Ronnie hid in a place where no one could see him. Secret agents had let BPHMT out of the cage and BPHMT jumped on the wrong spot. That spot is surrounded by tanks of propane. “This is exactly how I pictured my fate.” said BPHMT “We’ve got him. Fire!” said the agent. The others shot the tanks of propane until they exploded. A huge fire surrounds the Gaurdian Beast.

Ronnie ran up to the fire, and then he felt that feeling again. Ronnie felt his muscles pulsing then… he stood up and he began transforming. He grew those three horns and a pair of wings. His arms and legs darkened and mutated. Ronnie grew a tail and so his transformation is complete. As his Gaurdian Beast dies away, Ronnie stands alive. “Hold your fire! We don’t know if he’s malevolent.” said one of the agents. “I’m not. In fact, I don’t know what is going on.” Ronnie said. Then, two people fly out of nowhere. “What the!?” Ronnie screamed. The two mysterious men ripped of their fake skin to reveal their monstrous forms. One looks like a mutant rhino mixed with a gorilla while the other looks like a humanoid dragonfly mixed with a hornet. “We are Crimson and Navy.”, the dragonfly-hornet looking monster said. “We are here to sabotoge your mission. You humans think you’re so smart. We galactic demons are much stronger.” said the rhino gorilla. “Stronger than me?” Ronnie asked then punched Crimson and Navy. They turned around and saw Ronnie and said together, “Th-The Horned Man!”

Ronnie flies in the sky, and kicks Crimson in the face. “Looks like we’re evenly matched for power.” Crimson said. Ronnie does a somersault on top of the truck BPHMT was in. Navy lifts up the truck and Ronnie jumps off of it and cuts Navy’s shoulder with his claw. “Oh, you’ll pay for that!” Navy yelled, then he charges at him. Ronnie pierces through Navy’s brain with his middle horn. And Ronnie pulls his horn out with minimal effort. Navy was killed, just like that. “No! Navy!” Crimson screamed. “Holy cow, that Ronnie Mago can pack one hell of a punch.” said the agent leader. “You bastard… I’ll kill ya!” Crimson yelled as he charges with his stinger, but Ronnie grabbed it and ripped it clean off. Then he tears off half of his wings with his claws. “We’ll settle this at 48 hours!” Crimson said then he runs off into the night.

Ronnie stood tall, and walked his way home. Ayaka saw him. She ran up to him. “It actually happened, didn’t it?’ Ayaka asked. “...It did.” Ronnie replied. They hugged and held each other together.
