Chapter 1: That strange feeling

One cloudy Friday noon, a man had checked out a book from the library. I don't know what book it is, but it seems to be a magic one. Later then, he returned home in the basement. He read instructions on how to place crystals in a specific way. He drew a symbol on the floor, then he color coded the places where the crystals should be. He placed the crystals and 10 seconds later, he saw that his arm is… turning to crystal. The moment he saw this, he screamed and ran out of the house! And right when he thought the coast is clear, a car ran him over. The driver turns out to be a teenage boy named Ronnie Mago. The man took one look at him then fell dead, just like that.

He was also with a Gaurdian Beast. A Gaurdian Beast is the protector and assistant of the person that Gaurdian Beast was summoned out of. He and his Gaurdian Beast BPHMT put him in a body bag, and buried him under a big rock on a far-away place. That night, Ronnie had a strange dream. He dreamed that he saw a star-being that looked like a beautiful goddess. Ronnie saw he was with three other people. She introduced herself as The All-Mother named Origa. She then gave them new powers from Origa. Ronnie, being one of them, experienced a connection between him and his Gaurdian Beast. His subtle body shook then he woke up. After he took a shower, he combs his hair. The one thing he noticed was that three horns are growing out of his head. Just a little. “What? How did this happen?” Ronnie said. Then they were gone. It was like they weren’t there.

After breakfast, he was on the phone with his girlfriend, Ayaka Engetsu. “I had a weird dream, Ronnie.” Ayaka said, “And you were there.” “Same here.” Ronnie replied. Later after that, Ronnie is at a bus stop. He waited for a paratransit bus to stop by. The lady next to him saw a cluster of crystals. She was curious and also afraid. She grabbed a pen and begins to poke it. And after that, her arm turned to crystal. Ronnie looked at it and then he grabbed his stuff and fled. He then had another crazy dream. He dreamed about the time his Gaurdian Beast was born. He was bullied by others. And when one of them were about to do a wet willy, they saw blue goop come out his ear. That goop became a three-horned humanoid being. This being roared, and it scared the bullies away. When Ronnie saw this being, the being said, “I am your Gaurdian Beast, Master Ronald. I am BPHMT.” The name was pronounced ‘Baphomet’, only the spelling of his name has no vowels. He remembered the times BPHMT was around. Then, something happened to him.
Ronnie dreams that BPHMT is burning away in a fire. Ronnie woke up in the middle of the night.
He tossed and turned, and couldn’t sleep.

The next morning, he told Ayaka and his friends what his dream was. “I’m sure it isn’t serious.”, Ayaka said. “Well, it seemed so real to me.”, Ronnie replied. He had no idea what will happen next.
