Summary: Melissa uses a belt like David, and this time it's a new one.

Chapter 3: Lurking in the shadows

At Five Star High School, Kim creates a belt similar to the Suisei Driver.
"Okay, it's almost finished." Kim said.
"Awesome!" Troy said with an excited look, "David's gonna be amazed!"
"Yeah, I agree!" Kim smiled. Troy smiled as well.
"Amazed about what?" David asked curiously when he walked in.
"Hey, David! We're making a belt similar to the one you have." Troy said.
"Awesome! You think Melissa will like it?"
"What do you mean by that, David?" Kim asked David.
"Just asking and curious." "I guess so, dude."

Meanwhile at the Virus Legion, Dark Virus is making more monsters.
"Almost done." Dark Virus said, "It's been 96 hours (4 days)."

Later at the cafeteria, David is eating lunch with his friends.
"So, Kimmy made this belt, it's been known as the 'Kurai Driver'." Troy said.
"Kurai..." David has said in deep thought, "That's Japanese for 'Dark'."
"Mmm hmm." Kim smiled. Melissa walked by and she saw the belt.
"Hello, what have we here?" Melissa said quietly when she saw it then she sits by.
"So guys, what's with the belt?" "Hey, Melissa. Kimmmy was making this belt."
"That's great!" Melissa smiled. "I know, right?"
Then David & Melissa are haveing a love moment again.
"I can't believe we're doing this again." David said then blushes.

Later at the lab, Melissa checks out the belt.
"Hmm... this is a really cool belt." Melissa said.
"I know, right?" David smiled in agreement, "Hey, is that a monster?"
"Yeah. I think you can kick its ass, right, David?" "Right. Let's Comet!"
David turns to Armored Comet and charges to defeat the monster.
"I am Shadow Star. You're going down, Cometman!" Shadow Star said.
"No, you are!" Armored Comet spin kicks Shadow Star but he dodged.
'Time to show ya, you mongrel!' Shadow Star thought as he hides in the ground.
'What?' Armored Comet thought as he's confused. Shadow Star rose up behind him.

Melissa had to put the belt on. Then the metal particles form the suit.
"Wha?" Shadow Star looked at the formation of the new suit on Melissa.
The particle completed formed the suit called Dark Comet.

"The second member of the Comet Force is now Dark Comet." Armored Comet said.
"'Dark Comet', eh? That's a cool name." The newly formed Dark Comet agreed.
Dark Comet spin kicked Shadow Star. This time Shadow Star didn't dodge.
Dark Comet summoned a sword to slash Shadow Star.
Armored Comet activated a boost called Cosmic Burst. "Whoa! How did this happen?"
Armored Comet then spin kicks Shadow Star. "AH! How are these two so strong!?"
"Double Spin Kick!" Both Armored Comet & Dark Comet said as they finished it off.
"I'll see you in Xian Hell, Brother Blazer." Shadow Star said as he's dying.
"Damn, we beat that guy." Armored Comet said. "Yeah, I agree." Dark comet said in agreement.
Both turns back to normal, then the belt adapted to name the suit 'Dark Comet'.
"Looks like we'll form an team called the 'Comet Force'." David said and smiled.
