CHASE Y MARSHALL, AMIGOS Y ENEMIGOS PARTE 1

Era una época de días tranquilos para el equipo de los paw patroll, pues luego de una semana de duro trabajo, finalmente las cosas se habían calmado un poco. Los cachorros estaban cada vez mejor y más felices, sobre todo porque dos de ellos, Marshall y chase, casi cumplían otro año más desde el día que se conocieron de bebes, y más que nada, los dos ya habían confesado sus sentimientos a sus parejas. Chase se había enamorado perdidamente de Skye y Marshall de Everest. Una mañana tranquila, chase estaba paseando con Skye, y en eso, se topan con Marshall intentando hacer una canasta en la cancha de baloncesto.

Chase: ¿Marshall? ¿Por qué tan solo?
Marshall: ¿Ah? Hola chase, hola Skye. ¡Auh! (Es golpeado por el balón)
Skye: ¿Qué haces jugando tu solo?
Marshall: Espero a Everest. Me dijo que vendría a jugar un rato conmigo.
Chase: Ya entiendo, quieres impresionarla.
Marshall: No es eso. Saben que soy torpe con la pelota, y quiero ser, ya sabes, menos torpe.
Skye: Jejejeje hay Marshall.
Chase: Ya te dijimos que no importa si eres bueno o no. Eres nuestro amigo.
Everest: Hola amigos.
Chase y Skye: Hola Everest.

Everest le dice hola a Marshall y el dálmata solo dice hola, y después pone sonrisa de tonto con sus mejillas algo coloradas. Skye y chase se miran y luego ven, que Marshall y Everest se dan un beso muy romántico y muy dulce, sin embargo, nadie, ni si quiera chase, noto que Skye vio ese beso, de un modo curioso, no estaba molesta ni nada por el estilo, solo parecía que estaba intrigada. Unas horas luego, los cuatro cachorros se pusieron a jugar un rato en la cancha, de ahí, llegaron los demás e hicieron lo mismo. Varias veces, Marshall cometió torpezas igual que siempre, y varias veces, sus compañeros lo escucharon decir lo clásico de él, “estoy bien”. Todos los cachorros estaban muy felices, pero la felicidad termino, pues Raider los llama para una emergencia, y cuando iban al ascensor, Marshall se tropieza con el balón y sale volando hasta donde están los demás, el resultado fue, que el dálmata se estrelló con todos los demás cachorros, los cuales, incluso el, quedaron estampados contra el vidrio. En eso, Marshall dice: “esto sí que es hacer cosas juntos”, y todos los cachorros ríen. Cuando llegan con Raider…

Chase: Paw patroll listos para la acción jefe Raider.
Raider: Gracias por venir cachorros. El capitán Turbot está en problemas, estaba explorando el fondo del mar en su campana submarina, pero una corriente lo lanzo directo a unas rocas, y su campana quedo atrapada. Debemos sacarlo de ahí.
Rocky: Entre más rápido mejor Raider.
Raider: Cierto Rocky. Zuma, te necesito con tu aerodeslizador para bajar hasta el capitán Turbot y sacarlo de las rocas.
Zuma: A sumergirnos.
Raider: Marshall, te necesito cerca con tu equipo de emergencia por si el capitán Turbot sufrió alguna lesión.
Marshall: Me pondré en marcha.
Raider: Chase. Te necesito con tu equipo de espía para revisar la zona en caso de que ocurra otra cosa.
Chase: El espía chase se hará cargo.
Raider: Paw patroll, entra en acción.

Raider y los demás acuden al rescate. Cuando llegan a la horilla de la playa, chase usa su dron espía para ver desde el aire alguna otra emergencia, y afortunadamente la cámara del dron logra ver la campana del capitán Turbot en perfecto estado, el problema era que estaba atascada entre varios montones de rocas, chase notifica a Raider y luego, él y zuma se sumergen hasta donde está la campana submarina. Usando el brazo de rescate del aerodeslizador, Raider y zuma logran quitar todas las rocas y dejar la campana libre, acto seguido, el capitán Turbot enciende los motores y sale a flote. Luego de ese día, las cosas se calmaron aún más, pero últimamente, Skye estaba algo extraña, pues siempre estaba muy bien hasta que veía a Marshall. Nadie notaba que ella siempre sacaba alguna excusa para alejarse de Marshall y nadie sabía porque. Pasaron los días y hubo más rescates exitosos, y un día en la mañana, Skye estaba muy nerviosa por algo, por coincidencia, cuando ella entra al cuartel, ve al dálmata sacando un bocadillo matutino, pues su estómago no dejaba de sonar. Skye estaba completamente confundida, días anteriores le quería huir con todas sus ganas, pero esa mañana, al verlo solo, se quería acercar a él, y justo en ese momento lo entendió. Durante un tiempo, Everest le comento a Skye, sobre lo bien que besaba Marshall, y ella al recordar todo eso, se dio cuenta que quería probar como se sentía, sabía que estaba mal, pero tenía mucha curiosidad. Cuando Skye se acerca al dálmata, comienzan a charlar y luego se sientan frente al televisor, ahí, el silencio se apodera de todo, hasta que…

Skye: Marshall…
Marshall: ¿Qué pasa Skye?
Skye: Yo quiero preguntarte algo.
Marshall: Si, adelante.
Skye: ¿Cuándo besas a Everest, que es lo que sientes en realidad?
Marshall: Para ser honesto, siento que me caeré al piso jejeje. Siento que me pongo a volar y pues, no sé. No sé explicarlo.
Skye: Jejejeje. Para alguien que no sabe explicar eso, lo hiciste muy bien.
Marshall: ¿De verdad? Creo que mi modo de hablar me confunde a mí pero ustedes lo entienden.
Skye: Si, eso lo veo muy seguido jejeje.
Marshall: ¿Por qué fue la pregunta?
Skye: Bueno, la verdad es… (Se acerca a Marshall) Quería saber, lo que se siente…
Marshall: ¿Sentirse qué? (Nervioso se aleja)
Skye: Ya sabes. Eso.
Marshall: Skye me estas asustando.

Skye se acercaba cada vez más a Marshall y el hacía todo lo posible por mantenerse alejado de ella, pero las cosas comienzan a salir mal, cuando Marshall topa con el muro, y justo en ese momento, Skye besa sus labios. Marshall se quedó paralizado, no sabía cómo quitársela de encima, pero Skye se deja llevar tanto, que lo abraza. A ella le estaba gustando, pero Marshall pensaba en chase y al siguiente minuto, intento quitársela, pero fue demasiado tarde, chase había visto todo, y también los demás, pero Everest estaba con jake. Aun así, todos estaban enfadados con Marshall, pero chase no podía creer lo que vio.

Skye: Oh cielos.
Marshall: Oigan esperen, puedo explicarlo todo.
Chase: No tienes por qué explicar nada, mal amigo.
Skye: Oh.
Rubble: ¿Marshall porque lo hiciste?
Zuma: Amigo, esta vez te metiste en un problema muy grande.

Los días de ahí en adelante fueron una tortura, más para Skye que para Marshall, pues en los rescates, nadie quería la ayuda del dálmata y chase le había prohibido hablarle a Skye. Skye le dolía ver como lo hacían sufrir, ella sabía que muy pronto tendría que decir la verdad. Lo más doloroso fue ver al dálmata siempre jugando solo, pues los demás cachorros no querían ni si quiera escucharlo, porque según ellos, todo lo que él decía era una mentira. Luego de una semana, Skye estaba a punto de decir la verdad, de no ser porque Marshall fue a hablar con chase, ella sabía que las cosas no saldrían bien.

Marshall: Chase por favor escúchame.
Chase: Marshall ya te dije que no. Tú y yo éramos mejores amigos. ¿Cómo pudiste hacerme esto?
Marshall: Chase yo no hice nada, te digo la verdad.
Chase: Ah claro. Ahora me vas a decir que la culpable fue Skye.
Marshall: Chase yo…
Chase: No quiero escucharte decir algo más, ex mejor amigo.
Marshall: ¿Ex?

Los demás cachorros vieron como Marshall salió corriendo de la casa de chase, y aunque les dolía, no hicieron nada para ayudarlo, acto seguido, el dálmata se sube a su camión de bomberos y se va de ahí, Skye derramo lágrimas al ver esa escena. Pasaron las horas y Marshall paseaba por los bosques de bahía aventura, cerca del rio, y en eso, escucha que alguien pide ayuda, de inmediato el solo va al rescate. Mientras eso pasa, Skye le dice a chase la verdad pero él no le cree, piensa que Marshall fue quien la beso a la fuerza, pero ella lo convence cuando le dice que todo lo que quería era ver como besaba Marshall, que el dálmata varias veces intento quitársela de encima pero ella solo se dejó llevar, ahí, el pastor alemán recordó que Marshall nunca cerro los ojos y menos que abrazaba a Skye.

Chase: Skye. ¿Significa que…?
Skye: Si. Marshall no tuvo la culpa chase. Perdóname, solo quería saber lo que se sentía. (Llora)
Chase: Oh Skye. (La abraza y ella a él) Te perdono. Me hace feliz que me hayas dicho la verdad.
Skye: Oh chase, te amo.
Chase: Y yo a ti. ¿Uh? ¡Oh no, Marshall!

Cuando chase sale de ahí, les dice a todos la verdad y Skye les dice lo mismo. Los cachorros se miran todos confundidos pero cuando comprenden todo, sus caras cambian a tristes y con dolor de culpa. Después de todo eso, chase notifica a Raider que deben buscarlo, y de inmediato, Raider les dice a todos que comiencen a buscar al dálmata perdido. Pasa media hora y todos llegan al punto donde Marshall estaba rescatando a un joven que se quedó colgado de la orilla del bosque a punto de caer al rio. Cuando el dálmata logra rescatar al joven, él se va, y en eso llegan Raider y todos, pero al verlos, Marshall da un paso atrás. Raider ve lo que pasa y nota que el miedo del dálmata es hacia chase.

Marshall: No, no te acerques chase. (Asustado)
Chase: Marshall tranquilo, todo está bien, ya todo termino.
Marshall: No, no es cierto. Tú y los demás ya no me quieren. (Caminando hacia atrás, sin fijarse que el piso se acaba)
Chase: Marshall, es cierto. Todo está bien, estas perdonado, amigo.
Marshall: No… (Llora) No es verdad…todo lo que me dijiste…
Chase: Marshall escúchame. Lo dije sin querer, por favor, ven amigo.
Marshall: No… tú no eres mi amigo… (Llorando)
Todos: ¡Marshall! (Impactados por lo que dijo)

Las cosas no estaban bien, y al siguiente momento empeoraron, pues la parte del piso donde estaba el dálmata, se desmorona hacia abajo. Raider le dice a chase que use su red espía, pero es demasiado tarde, el dálmata cae al rio antes que la red lo atrape y desafortunadamente, las corrientes del rio estaban muy fuertes ese día. Skye le dice a Raider que Marshall va rio arriba, pero Raider les dice a los cachorros, que incluso seguirlo sería en vano, pues en este momento, Marshall ya estaba a kilómetros lejos de bahía aventura. Chase solo se quedó mirando el rio, derramando lágrimas por qué sucedió… Su mejor amigo no solo había dicho que ya no era nada suyo, también había caído a un rio muy violento. Chase estaba destruido por dentro, Skye y los demás preocupados, y Marshall estaba perdido. Nadie, ni si quiera el, estaban seguros de que pasaría después…
