Previously on Galarian Days... Our heroes (now fused into the giant hybrid) fight Giganta Matter in a drawn-out, protracted boss fight with multiple phases and a twist ending, but after expending arduous, strenuous effort... the hybrid emerges victorious, and several MC grunts are staring down the barrel of the unemployment line... - Meanwhile, the shining mass of cerulean light the hybrid tossed into the air angled down as it began its decent upon the Galar region... but suddenly the mass began to de-stablize from a long mass into a round ball of blue light, until finally...! "TSYUN!" The ball suddenly exploded in a bright flash, and rays of blue light were raining down on the whole region; the Wild Area, the Isle of Armor, the Crown Tundra, even the Gym Stadiums became the targets of an onslaught from above. But instead of the beams raining destruction, most of them threaded the entrances to the Pokemon Dens around the land, while the Power Spots in the Battle Courts were touched with gentle beams that recharged them to full power, restoring the benefits of Dynamax power to all of Galar! Off the coast of the region, the hybrid had flown back into the Wild Area, more specifically on the land near the Lake of Outrage. As he hovered over the middle of the stone pillar circle, he took a second to look over the Wild Area and see what had changed. What he saw was that all of the Pokemon Dens were glowing with cerise light once again, though there weren't any visible beams coming from any of them that he could see. Despite that, he deemed his work done for now with a satisfied smile on his muzzle, and once he closed his eyes, the blue aura surrounding him shone brighter and brighter, then he began shrinking smaller and smaller, until all that was left of him was a black steed, a white steed, a green deer, a yellow bear, and a cyan and magenta wolf inside the pillar circle, all of whom were back to normal size... though the latter three were laid face-down on the ground. Zander was the first to stir, and he said as he woke, "Ugh... what happened?" Next was Wufu as he said, "Mmph... did we win? Is the fight over?" Finally, Calvin was the last to add on, "Wuh.. Where are we?" "I think we're back in the Wild Area," Zander said, "but I don't know how we got here. Also, does anyone else feel a draft?" But as all three anthros stood up, they looked down at themselves, then at each other before a visible fact sunk in... "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!" they shouted in unison as their paws and hooves cupped their groins, with only Glastrier and Spectrier at their sides to protect their modesty from potential witnesses. They were naked in the Wild Area! "Where are our clothes!?" Wufu said in shock. "This is the second time today our pudding cups got out!" "Never mind just our clothes!" Zander said in equal shock. "Where did our other things go!? Your inro!? His basket!? Our Pokemon!? My camping gear!? We're all up the river without an oar here!" "Guys! Look!" Calvin shouted as he pointed with one hand while the other hid his green beans. Right on Spectrier's back was his basket, and inside were all their outfits and belongings, folded in a neat little stack. "...That works!" Zander said as he reached for the basket along with the other two anthros. They all scrambled to grab their things out of the basket, and after some quick trading around, everyone was restored to decency. "Okay, apparently when all three of us combine our powers, we wake up with our clothes in the basket and off of us with no idea how it happened." Both steeds huffed at that. "Sorry. When all FIVE of us combine our powers. Happy now?" That was answered with a simultaneous nod. "Uh, guys?" Wufu said, catching Zander and Calvin's attention. "You might want to take a look at this." "What is it, Wufu?" Calvin asked, but all that the bear was pointing at was a Pokemon Den... glowing with cerise energy. "I think I know what," Zander said as he saw the light, "but I need to check something to make sure. I'll be right back." He then took off up the hill and saw that the den up there was also lit, and from his new vantage point, he looked out, and all the dens were lit up as far as the eyes could see! Delighted, Zander rushed back down the hill and said, "Good news, everyone! Apparently, what happened after we combined our powers was enough to defeat Giganta Matter, and now the region's supply of Galar particles has been restored!" "Are you saying... we won?" Calvin asked with cautious optimism. "Based on current evidence, yes!" "All right! We won!" Wufu cheered before he started pelvic thrusting. "Yeah! In your face! In your face! In your-" "But!" Zander interjected. "We shouldn't get cocky! All we did was put the Galar particles back, but Chairperson Elle can just as easily take them back out. So, unless we want to go through all this hassle all over again, the only way to stop the opposite crisis altogether is to take the battle to her!" "So there's more," Wufu said now that the happy moment was dead. "And how are we going to do that? Waltz our way back into Wyndon, storm Rose Tower, fight our way through armies of Macro Cosmos grunts, infiltrate Elle's inner sanctum on the top floor and take her and Turner down?" "Exactly, and we have only..." Zander took out his phone again and checked the countdown. "2 days, 10 hours and 51 minutes to do it. But we have to act fast, because chances are word about what happened on Eternal Island will get out. And when it does, Elle and Turner will act accordingly to keep their Miniasma project proceeding as planned." "Then we'll have to take the train," Calvin reasoned, "because they'll suspect something if the Flying Taxi brings us." "Good idea," Zander said. "Now, saddle up!" With that, everyone got back on the steeds, and rode towards the entrance to Hammerlocke to enact their plan of action...
