<2> Ava Lithia August 10, 31 Dreamer's Rest, Feralas Dearest Ava, Goodness, it sounds like you're having the time of your life! I truly could not fathom the life of a druid in such a dangerous place. How do they get away with such a lifestyle without worrying about creature attacks? I feel like I would be scared to death on a regular basis! I imagine the insects might be more worrisome than anything, or perhaps the burning of the sun? Do they get cold often? Are there times when they require modesty? Druids are an absolute mystery to me, however... truth be told (I probably should not be writing this) I have experienced such a lifestyle before, at least for a little while. There is a secluded colony on Bloodmyst Isle where a few draenei established a clothing-free locale shortly after arriving on Azeroth. See, our ancestors hunted freely on Draenor, and human modesty was... very restricting for some, compared to our past freedom. So the colony was a place for some of us to retreat when human customs became too much to handle. I was not one of those wild hunters myself, but your mother and I visited the colony a time or two back in the day. That being said, Bloodmyst can get quite chilly! I would wager Feralas is a bit warmer, no? Admittedly these 'rituals' do sound intriguing! Just be careful out there, like always, and stay wary! Not everyone may have the most noble intentions. Love, Dad Zarain Lithia August 12, 31 Azure Watch, Azuremyst Isle CC: Bloodmyst Isle, Carefree Colony Dear Dad, Honestly, I think this is the most fun I've had... ever! It's crazy! Everyone's so laid-back, but they get so serious when it comes to their rituals... and even those are fun! The beasts in the area are actually super docile too. I think it might be some druidic magic at work, but the druids are also so friendly that the beasts probably notice that too. Some of them even walk straight into camp and get fed, which is crazy to me. I've been told some of the beasts have been trained to chase off ogres and such too, but even the local ogres occasionally barter with the druids. The bugs do get a little annoying if you get too far away from camp, but again, I think they have magics that pacify the bugs. They're still around, but they don't bite or annoy anyone. The local creatures don't care, but their nakedness has scared off a few travelers here and there. Auina, the woman who brought me here, wore clothes right up until she stepped into camp. Then with a flourish, they were gone, and that's pretty much been the norm! I haven't quite gotten the nerve to totally disrobe yet, but I think I might be alright with it soon. Underwear's been a good gateway though, and I think my skin might've gotten a bit darker blue! Most of the elves have very dark purple skin, but I've been told there's a shade enchantment over the camp too that keeps us from burning or getting harmed by the sun. These guys have thought of everything! I had no idea our people had done that sort of thing before! I always kinda had a feeling you had more of a wild side to ya, pops! What's the colony like? It's probably still pretty different from here. I finally caught my first glimpse of... well, naughtiness. I was wandering around the camp and accidentally caught a pair of elves behind one of the tents doing the deed. I apologized immediately, but surprisingly they didn't seem to care. They even offered to let me watch, but I... I was too flustered and rushed away. Sorry! I hope that isn't too much information. Not trying to be weird, just... putting thoughts on paper I guess. They actually mentioned that stuff like that comes up in some of the rituals too, so I guess we'll see what happens. Oh! And I totally forgot I brought my S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera! I told Auina about it and she got curious, so we took a photo for fun! Heya from Feralas! Always with Love, Ava Ava Lithia August 13, 31 Dreamer's Rest, Feralas Dearest Ava, It brings my heart such great joy to hear you're having such a good time! And you sound safer than ever, which truly puts me at ease. It sounds as if you're about as close as you can get to being one with nature! I almost envy you in a way. There is certainly a deep place in my heart that craves such a connection with the world. It is... not such a scary feeling to disrobe, I promise! Without clothing, there is no one to judge you by your appearance, for what you have to show is all you had to begin with. It levels the playing ground between people, so to speak, or at least it does in my experience. There is no concern with a little extra weight here or a modest appendage there. Your sun-darkening is noticeable indeed! In fact, you look very well overall, stunning, even! Travel has been good to you! You keep good company to be certain, your friend has her own charms, no doubt. Wild is, perhaps, a bit of an overstatement! We were all young once, and simply walking around naked is hardly wild. We were born naked, yes? The outdoor mating, however, might be a bit out of the ordinary! I cannot say that is something I have ever tried myself. The night elves always have been quite the liberated lot. And do not apologize! You are free to tell your father absolutely anything, I hope you know that. If anything, I appreciate that sort of trust, and hope to reciprocate it. You're all I have left of family, after all. If anything... it would seem you have inspired me! I decided to take a little vacation for a week, and I have not regretted a single moment of it. It is a lovely temperature out here this time of year, and in a way it makes me feel a little closer to your adventures. Hello from Bloodmyst Isle! Love, Dad
